Guild Wars 2

So i’ve been searching and found it. It is left from Broadhollow waypoint. A big mountain with a weird sound coming from it. Also if you follow it down you come to a spot where you get teleported to a location further down. That is strange in any case.
Any Theories what this can be? I’ve already found some people saying this festival might end with the awakening of a new dragon! That would be amazing!

It’s part of the last few achievements to tie this in with the living story.

It’s probably going to be tied into something later they plan on releasing for this particular event!

When I tried to get close I got teleported. I cannot even stand where there’s some boars.

Anyways, I guess that’s either made by the next thing after the Molten or by some Steam creatures.

Or maybe something from old. A Seer or Mursaat machine?

The Ship’s Council members are the line of people by the plaza in Lion’s Arch. Might be unrelated.

It’s a giant airship. Meet the Aetherblades.

Aetherblades? Pfft. No. That would be like giving guardians longbow and engineers hammers.

I’ve also investigated that rock, but have nothing new to add other than all the ticking, mechanical sounds it makes.

Also, anyone know what the point of that new PoI in Divinity’s Reach is? I suspect it will be another Guild Mission.

I just totally got excited about this. The original Dragon Festival in GW1 was hijacked by demons and the sequential festivals incorporated it into the event. So, this event too will be hijacked by the Aetherblade folks?

Guess no one of you have seen the achievement tab that someone kittened up and left in the patch called ((DELETE ME)) where all the achievements is centered around the Aetherblades?

That would be a reference to the infamous 55 Monk from GW1; a build which took advantage of having a tiny 55 point health pool protected by a special buff reducing all damage to 20% while maintaining healing buffs.

A while back, someone found files in the game with steampunk-looking armor skins very similar to skycaptain gear. They had superfluous gears everywhere. It’s very likely these are connected to the Aetherblades in some manner.

Here’s hoping that they’re not only for NPC use.

Molten Alliance has more ramshackle weapons. The Aetherblade weapons look clean and pirate-like.

Destiny’s Edge wouldn’t make a secret base.

Consortium would make sense. At least a group that has ties to the Consortium.

It’s unlikely that they’d introduce anything Dragon-related in the Living Story.

It’s more likely that these Aetherblades are a separate group.

There is even another one!..
I found it this evening, and it is in Divinity’s Reach.
We got a new one POI, and it’s a house with a dark-feeling, because when you approach the structure you are surrounded by a misterious fog.

I want an airship as a guildhall, that would be awsome ^^

achievement descriptions spoil it. they need to be removed until they are available.

They attack LA.

One achievement says, good people of LA can breath easy now.
Another says, take the captains council to safety.
Something about tracking down Marjory in “The Dead End” in divinities reach (likely the new POI in divinities reach)
Something about finding the missing suspects around the world (makes me think of the aether things, which were spread out)

The ticking mountain is right next to LA (next to hooligans route, the undermarket)
probably where the attack starts.
