SAB would be a lame april fools considering its exactly what they did last year. Don’t get me wrong, I adore SAB, but just repeating the exact same “prank but not really a prank at all” content would be kind of boring.

maybe a life like golem or clock work with incredible illusion magic coated on it to make it look like the real scarlet.

SAB team worked on the Marionette so I do not think they would have had enough time to create world three.

They will have a hard time beating last years April Fools, so much so that they might not even really try.

They could bring out one of the Guild Wars 1 April fools, like the one where everyone turned into black stick figures or the one where all the characters switched sexes.

On April 1st Lion’s Arch reopens to the unveiling of a brand new statue: Trahearne, Hero of Lion’s Arch!

They fully return Lion’s Arch to the way it was, except with a few invisible walls here and there and a little special effects. Everything’s just an illusion of the dead. A ghost city for a day.

Oh more SAB…….and Gemstore. At least it might not involve zergs.

If they changed Lion’s Arch to LA from GW1 for April Fools, that would be hilarious.

They will obviously announce that the “feature” patch was a joke and they don’t actually plan on doing any more content.

That really wasn’t a prank anyway. I don’t see why releasing SAB would be a bad thing. They will obviously have the next world in there.

I’d really like to see more of what GW1 did for april fools. SAB was cute and all, but not really an april fools joke in the fashion GW1 did it.

Gw1 did that also once. Everyone was the size of a mini and all the minis were people sized.

GW1 always had really ludicrous patch notes put out on April Fools, if you ask me, GW2 should implement some of those really ludicrous things, a lot of what was posted in the patch notes was terribly unbalanced, obviously, but still sounded really fun to mess around with for a day, so it’d be cool to see.

Mission to take one of Scarlet’s bases turns out to be Plants vs Zombies mini game.

There’s a lot to be envied about the AF’day pranks that the Anet of olde would pull on it’s players. I really miss wandering around as a stick figure (esp. since I bought new armour just the day before), or being a Gwen-chan doll, or being a mini to my fave maxi-pet (oh, the mad king’s guards, the kanaxai’s, good times), or even better, playing as a Commando in a Terminator-esque scene.

I really hope the dev’s come up with something better to show us they’re on the ball. I love SAB to bits… 8 bits actually, but I do hope they revert back to the GW1-nature of pranks. That kind of novelty just never wears off.

It would be nice if SAB came back, as well as getting something original that we haven’t seen yet. Pretty sure it won’t happen, but I can dream…

Just to be clear, SAB is not specificly an Aprils Fool thing. This much was made clear when the second world was released at the other side of the year. It will probably come back i guess, but dont take it for granted. Its Living Story stuff, not a strictly annual thing.

My only hope is that whatever they have planned, it will be IN THE GAME. With the amount of out-of-game stuff ANet does these days, i fear that the game itself misses more and more of the good stuff.

SAB team is separate from LS, it is just a recurring event. My only hope is that it’s semiannual instead of annual.

Of course… they could turn as all into plushy minis of ourselves too, similar to the gwen doll mini in GW1.

I’m looking forward to the Trahearne statue in place of the lion proclaiming him the Hero of Lion’s Arch, that sounds like the best joke.

Go hit one of the ambient chickens in Ebonhawke if you want a bit of fun. Better yet, do what I did. I told a guildie I was with in Ebonhawke that there is an achievement you get for hitting one. That was funny.
