Norn Necromancer Level 80

Completed it 8 times once with every character, twice of each race except once with a charr, took me 2 hours to do it the first time, after that I could mostly do it in a single run with each following char <3 tower puzzle

It took me a bit over 3 hours of persistent hopping & mouse flailing, but I did it. What a rush finally making it to the top and watching the miasma rise up and needing to wait until the lightning strikes…
This is how all achievements should be, a triumph over something difficult.
Lv.80 Sylvari Mesmer, no speed boosts of any kind.

Smallest posssible human female warrior, no speed boost

I did it 8 times on my 8 different toons.

human warr no speed buff (but pretty sure they wouldnt work anyway… since weapons and buffs are taken away)
did it three more times afterwards for fun… bags a nice

Beat it after 3 hrs worth of jumping…

Level 12 Necro Human: 2.5 hours
Level 73 Mesmer Asura: 1.5 hours
Level 80 Warrior Human: 40mins

I find that the more visibility i have, the better chance i have at making it to the top. I’d also like to add that I would have been done in 20 mins on my warrior had the “Re-enter Cue” pop up not gotten in the way, lol.

About 60~ attempts in total.

Little Sylvari Thief. Made it on 1st Attempt with Speed Boost.
No idea how many without, was 1-2 hours or so.

Only took me 6+ hours. =D

Norn Guardian. Never got any speed boosts.

Did enough to get 200 ToT bags, so you can go figure.

Only took me about 40 minutes to get it the first time. Then I got it a second 2 tries after the first. Haven’t gone back there yet.

Kinda sad you only get candy bags after doing it. xD

Holy crap that was hard. I found that watching videos on youtube of people doing it helped SO MUCH. It let you know the path and what was coming up.

But YESSSSSS. That feeling of victory is SWEET.

Beat it multiple times as the biggest norn warrior you could find. Please put all tears in this bucket here hands out bucket I will drink them later.

It was pretty easy once I figured out the best places to jump from.

Minimum size female norn Warrior, over 10 clears.

Human Necro with no buffs. Had to do it 2 times cause I got kicked out as soon as i got in there the first time

Charr with no speed boosts. Did it 3 times before getting bored.

11 completions so far no speed boost

2 Theif: 10 times; 4 times in a row record

Asura Engineer lvl 80, No speed boost = 11 hours.
Norn Guardian lvl 2, No speed boost = <15 mins.
Charr Warrior lvl 2, No speed boost = 10 mins.
Sylvari Elementalist lvl 2, No speed boost = 1 hr 30 mins.
Human Thief lvl 2, No speed boost = 28 mins.

Beat it just a few minutes ago.. Oh gosh, was insane!
Four hours of.. well, bad words. But finally I finish it, and I go to bed.

and it shouldn’t be nerfed/redesigned/fixed just because people can’t handle it. It’s the one hard thing in this game. Keep it that way. It only took me ~20 minutes to get the handle of it

Level 80 Sylvari Necromancer, no speed buffs. About 3 hours to complete.

I’ve done it maybe 200+ times. Took me a little over an hour my first try. I think I’m addicted. It’s just so fun. I love jumping, the vista, the whole look of the tower. I love how there’s tons of people all doing it at the same time with you. It almost seems as if your competing with them. It’s great. The tot bags are great as well:)

I made it the first time after 1 hour and 10 minutes, after alot of cursing and nagging of all nordes and cats out there… Now im on my third time and considering having it on farm for the candy bags.

Also, side note, took me a good 3-4 hours of frustration to clear it the first time, but after that it got significantly easier.

Sylvari Thief, finished it about 5 times. My guildmates did it a bunch of times too.

I’ve beaten it about five or six times. Took about an hour to do the first time.

Human Necromancer. No speed boosts.

I’ve beaten it at least ten times on my
Asuran Elementalist
both with and without a 25% speed boost.

Completed on all 5 races. Charr was the hardest.

Passed with my Elementalist lvl 80Human.
Always have arcane on when running around with I think 10 points and the trait to increase speed the more you atuned to it.

Don’t give up and just jump. The key is to keep going and not think about your next move. Also try watching a youtube video, as this might help.

Finally did it with my Asura after almost 4 straight hours colliding with bars and trying to find my own char.
