Lv 80 sylvari thief, multiple time, first completion after 35 minutes. (oh and no speed boost)

Insanely fun to do, here is hoping get a Christmas tree style challenge like this during Christmas.

Beat it Now witht he following Characters

Human Thief=beat it several times
Norn Guardian=was harder than human for some reason
Asuran Elementalist=was the easiest first 2 tries i made it
Charr Warrior and Charr Engineer= were the hardest dont ask me why though

Level 80 Human Guardian without any speed boosts (Where the heck are Guardians supposed to get speed boosts from anyways?).

This is still 500 times more easier than beating Ghosts’n Goblins on the NES (TWICE mind you!)

Ignore all small chests you can go back for them.

Turn off Dodge roll. I cant even tell you how annoying it is.

Just a human war to try again.

4 chars cleared.

Completed it on:

Human War 80. no speed

Human Ele 39, no speed

Silvari Thief 73, no speed.

Learned to jump with the W pressed down for 95% of the tower.

Level 80 Asura Elementalist.

no speed boost

Sylvari Ranger, several times, with and without speed boost

Level 80 Charr Engineer. No speed boosts.

Took many hours of trying but finally did it. Did it two more times within 10 minutes afterwards.

Level 80 Sylvari Mesmer, no boosts.

So glad to have finally made it.

I did it and got a video of me doing it. It almost broke me and I almost cried as you can see in this video but I did it!

Took me 2 hours to practice run up to the last stairs with good consistency, however I was failing at the broken window (invisible wall or something)
After a patch I made it in from the first jump. And 4 more times after that.
I wonder if the reward resets daily.

Beaten it on all my characters (Warrior,Guardian,Thief,Necro,Mesmer) now. Speed boost isn’t even remotely required.

Very very fun Puzzle, hope we get more like this.

Speed boost 25 percent while staying in air attunement
(which sometimes felt a bit too fast for some jumps).

A few failed tries with my 40+ norn guardian yesterday where I was too slow. And a lot more tries today where I got further up but missed some jumps… maybe because of too much speed.

Trying again with my human main engineer later. Those Mad King’s Slippers… you really get them in the armor type you need for the char you complete the puzzle with? Cause I have them in light armor now and I would like to have them medium for my main engineer.

Beat it twice but still think its to hard for average players.

Sylvari Mesmer Level 80: No Speed Traits/Boosts.
Asura Engineer Level 6: No Speed Traits/Boosts. (It was almost more difficult trying to get a Pumpkin-topped Haunted Door to get into this event, then it was to actually do the JP after all that practice on my Mesmer. Lvl6 running around Gerrandan Fields is rough.)

Took about 1 hour to complete and I enjoyed it.

I did it 100+ times. All the professions, and all the races. (Since I have 8 alts + main, and I have at least 1 of each race)
I never used a speed buff. Well, some runs a guy with a banner made us fail a lot of times by using speed buffs. But that doesn’t count, since no one cleared it. xD

Sylvari mesmer, 80, probably 8-10 hours, no speed boost. I have to admit, it was quite a rush making that final jump and realizing I had finally made it.

just now, took 3 hours of attempts :P

Human Ranger, no boosts, took me 6 hours, and it was hella fun.

Finally beat it on my Human Warrior alt, without speed boost. Took about an hour of falling n being blocked by fat norns

i did it on 6 different accounts for friends a guildies mostly on human/necromancers

Norn guardian, no speed boost. Beat it after about maybe 1.5 or 2 hours? It was so amazing! My heart was pounding like crazy, I haven’t felt this excited since the fist time I got into GW2. For the added challenge I beat it with my asura mesmer today.

Took me about 2/3 hours between yesterday night and today.

I just wanted to add that boots are worthless compared to the first success’ joy

After getting used to doing it on my charr, I found it a bit tricky to do on a human. But, finally got it across a few alts!

It took like…4 hours. But I loved it!

Sylvari Engineer, no boost, really glad I have good twitch skills because you do need them.

That last jump into the clock face just wouldn’t work for the longest time though :p

Took a couple hours first time, can now pretty much do it over and over with little effort, they should have made multiple variations that changed randomly

Human Mesmer, no speed buffs. I hated it at the beginning due to the buggy resets and the crowd of people restricting my vision, but it turned out alright in the end and was even fun to do!

In the order I did them in:

Human Mesmer (unnumerable amount of attempts)
Asuran Warrior (2nd try)
Charr Guardian (a great many trys)
Norn Ranger (not so many as Charr, but enough to go “uggghhh”)
Plant Ele (roughly 5-6 tries)

No speed boosts for any. Charr was by far the most difficult. I expected Asuran to be difficult due to viewing issues (skirts, charr, norn, humans, plants), i got lucky I think in “guessing” where I was.

Only costed 1 TV remote and 2kg of rage.

Took me over 9 hours of jumping but I finally got the slippers and achievement.
Never had anything quite as challenging as this puzzle before. xD
