Great puzzle, very very fustrating, but very enjoyable, and met some nice new people.

Loved it and hated it all at the same time. Glad I got my Boots though. =D

No Buffs, I tried the sugar rush once and failed immensely on the crash.

Took some good time and was filled with Rage, especially from others at my Charr being so big, but most of the time I was the only one to make it to the steep cog anyway.

I also had the joy of being in overflow and it telling me I could join the main view while I was trying to navigate after the leap of faith.

Running the puzzle with a group can be frustrating, BUT it was great to commiserate as a group!!

It’s definitely tricky – but honestly after completing it the first time, the next 3 were a lot easier.

i completed the puzzle over 200 times farming trick or treat bags…. it was one of the funnest events ive had in any game

Having done it with a norn, I wanted to also do it with an asura and try to see it from the perspective of my fellow players who have been posting about how awful being small in the group is.

I did it in a handful of tries.

I can only hope that next time A-net decide to not have use all doing it at once so the people who aren’t a massive Norn can actually see their character. I feel bad for any Asura.

Norn Male / Ranger, mediocre sized. Doing jumping puzzles with a Male Norn is so hard because they feel so clunky when jumping.

Norn Necro no speed and it was pretty easy tbh. The only difficulty is the kitten decision of allowing many people in.

Definitely the hardest part of the puzzle was not verbally abusing the FOUR kittening NAKED Norn in the same instance. Couldn’t do it for hours on that attempt, logged on again after a while to find a more reasonable party, finished the puzzle on the second try while at it.

Second prize goes to someone at ANet for not studying the theory of player collision volume allocation, thus making the jumping itself extremely counter-intuitive and relying more on muscle memory than coordination and wit.

Could be fun. But isn’t.

Never thought I’d have to GRIND a jump puzzle…

0% speed boosts (boosts actually messed me up, which was why I managed it on the war first).

Took me an hour and a half, grinning from ear to ear the whole time.

Did it a couple of times for each character. No speed boosts personally used. Rather funny to see people who use their speed boosts and just run straight off a platform.

The way I do the puzzles is to focus on the center of my screen rather than looking where my character is.

After several hours though. I completely agree that it’s very hard, and that having other characters really makes it obnoxiously hard, especially when there are lots of Charr/Norn on the screen. That’s my only gripe really. The challenge level is just right…. but the other players just make it completely rediculous.

FINALLY BEAT IT! So happy! My heart was pounding for a good 10 minutes haha!

First time I made it to the top, I jumped at the clock face too soon without knowing you had to wait ’till the last second for it to break, and fell to my death.

Took me 3 hours and wanted to just give up so many times, but seriously I felt so good after finally making it!

To whoever made/came up with this, a HUGE thumbs up!

Norn Warrior, no boosts that I felt.

It took awhile— more like a few hours, but after getting stuck at that double-highbeam for too long, I was like “Oh! I got this!” and jumped.

Done it again on my first attempt today, it really is easy enough when you get the hang of it.
