I have now also done it on my Warrior Human male 1st try

And just for kicks ..done it on a lvl 4 Asura necro on 3rd try.

Completed it in total about 15 times.

Done and done. It’s really satisfying when you finally make it. And then for some reason there’s a compulsion to just keep doing it.

Finished it after 3 tries, simply failed the first time. Didn’t know I had to jump down onto the platform with the chest on the second. and actually MISSED the platform on the third.

It was amazing.

My husband cleared it for himself, then for me… no way I was going to finish it. He had to do my toon twice, because the first time it gave me the achievement, but he was unable to loot the chest. I’m glad he did it (took 7 hours), but I still hold that is ridiculously difficult. If it were a permanent part of the game, I would understand. But to make it only available for an event is silly. So it’s done and good riddance!!!!

My mesmer was my first character to do it on and I struggled, but after that, I have been able to clear it on the first or second time through. Love the clocktower, but I can agree that it gets confusing when you cannot see your own character. Lose your fear of doing more or less blind jumps and the start, and once you get to the second part it will be a lot easier.

Cleared it early in the morning when my internet is more stable and I was relaxed and not tired. I did used speed buffs the day before while training, but I haven’t used any when I finally got my achievement.

(very easy puzzle)

No buffs, lvl 15 Asuran Elementalist multiple times.
Going to complete it with the rest of my characters too. The first 30 mins – 1 hour doing it.. i raged like crazy XD

Charr Warrior, no buffs. 12 successful completions before I got bored and stopped for the sake of the smaller people who hadn’t done it yet because they couldn’t see through my big butt.

Completed it a handful of times with my Sylvari Ranger.
Didn’t use any speed boosts – I find it easier to judge the jumps without.
Took me a couple of hours to make it the first time, but I had loads of fun and keep going back for more.

Beaten it for the 4th time today.

Two times complete with human and charr.
It was…….a nightmare for me as I spent whole day jumping it.
But first time when I reach the tower, it was very sweet as I nearly bursted out tears of joy.

Asura for 7 hours no success
Norn for 6 hours finally made it. No boosts of any kind.

So far beat with:
Asura Engi – no speed boost
Human Ele – speed boost

Speed boost actually made it harder, I have a MUCH easier time beating this with Asura. For me, the small size makes it easier to land jumps.

Tried it on my Charr for 12 hours. Charr have it rough with jumping puzzles.

YES. 12 HOURS. BUT I DID IT. I FINALLY DID IT. I’M FREE.

I ran it a bunch of times on my Asura Guardian, I couldn’t get beyond the big leap down. After that I tried in on my Norn Guardian and made it to the clock face first go. No passive speed boots at all, I found the Norn to be much easier because you can obviously see yourself in a crowd.

I’ve now done it on 4 alts as well: Asura, Charr, and 2 humans! Much less problematic once you know the route.

Took it on in Hard mode Charrdian!(well im pretty used to charr jumping by now)
so much charr hate oh well took me a few hour of tries one night but then stopped knowing me i got it on the 3rd try the next day, almost had it on the first messed up 2nd to last jump.

Sylvari Warrior, completed it 10 min ago, no speedbuffs.

Charr Warrior, no speed boosts. It was probably 2 hours of tries spread out over a couple days. At one point, I got to the very top and blew the final jump because the overflow queue window popped on me, and I was so frustrated I needed a break. Next session, I got it on the first try.

Completed in 3 mins on brother’s account, tanking Lupicus on my laptop at the same time.

Norn no speed boosts, it was an amazing experience, I freaking loved it.. Thanks ANet ^^
