Guild Wars 2 Forum - Halloween Event

To all the people who keep saying the gamers should be patient and be glad since ANet releases content for free and whatnot — no offence, but that’s just hokum. The devs don’t run the show here for charity but to make a living. They’re suppliers of an entertainment product and we’re their customers. As such we can expect a communication better than this. The current situation is a little bit as though your favourite channel said your favourite series would be on at Oct 22 night but not goes to air it. It’s not the delay which irks me, these things can happen. But the communication needs to be improved here.

As stated on the event page, the Halloween event will go live on October 22, Pacific Time.

As previously messaged earlier today, it will go live later this evening on October 22.

It is an involved process to push a game update to the live servers, so a lot of care must be taken to ensure quality.
