Beware BG has done this to us (SoR) before, you start heckling them one week when they appear weak and the next or the one after they come back and sucker-punch you in the jaw. I dislike BG a lot, mostly for all those weeks in T2 with them, but they always come back harder, faster, and stronger.

Wonder if TC could manage to pull off some wins against T1 servers….mmmm nah

In my book, any time our random folks wipe guild groups of T1, that’s a win. We don’t have to beat them in score, we just don’t have those numbers. Not saying it isn’t possible, we have destroyed two servers on their way to T1 in the past. But it came at a cost – many people had to pull long shifts and play extra smart in PPT game to make it possible. I’ve seen what it could do, and it isn’t healthy to the overall community in the long run.

As long as people are having fun while they are playing, and take pride in fighting for The Coast no matter what the odds are, that’s all that matters.

Mediocrity for months from JQ in terms of tier 1 where we had 1 gold in the many months since may and BG had 10+ in that same timezone. You can’t seriously say that JQ was stacked during those time periods. When JQ had no OCX no EU coverage whatsoever. We would hit 90 ppt during those periods. All you see now from JQ is the fact we can actually give our SEA something upgraded on more than just EB every night.

It’s not our fault that your numbers didn’t show up this week and they did last week. I have yet to see your oceanic show up at all. And you guys have a high oceanic population this was evidenced by the fact that even when MERC wasn’t on map BG still had 20-25 people on majority of their maps. Even without merc on the same map JQ was sporting outmanned in EVERY map during OCX this was even with TKG.

Pssst…we lost last week too.

I think you fail to realize that Blackgate did not have easy victories. When JQ was winning it was doing it while practically asleep on the wheel. We only started winning when JQ stopped showing up suddenly one day, and even then we had a massively growing SoR to deal with. BG is not shamming, we really don’t have the same amount of coverage as SoR and JQ now.

As this era of wvw in gw2 comes to an end, I would like to congratulate Jade Quarry on having the most successful wvw alliance in gw2.

The hard work that the wvw community has put in on a daily around the clock basis for a year plus has been nothing short of epic. All the battles, the fights, the politics, the drama, the hatred sometimes in and out, the Quarry and it’s honey badger pugs have endured, and will end at the top of the heap. Love the Quarry or hate the Quarry, it has earned it’s place as the Old Warhorse of Gw2.

Much respect to the “Old Warhorse” guilds that make up the heart of JQ, and to those who have came as pilgrims to the Quarry and made it their home. A home in which the mids, and hibs, and albs could finally get along. The home of a global pvp alliance with an almost a 50% win percentage in the most competitive world versus world alliance pvp that mmo’s offer.

TA retired unbeaten after winning 30 games in a row against fully q’ed servers. Back when burn out, tanking and and training weeks hadn’t entered the GW vocab. TA also didn’t recruit from AA – let alone pay their guilds to transfer – in order to win.

And you realise that your "point"about exotics – let alone ascended – simply reinforces that WvW back then was a much more level playing field? Fully Qed maps on the servers and minimal gear disparity.

Finally, as part of reacquainting you with logic, my posts usually do little more than point out facts from scores and quote JQ posters’ words back at your trolls. Feel free to call facts “ranting” or “tears”, that doesn’t lessen their validity or improve the strength of arguments based on nothing more than self-serving assertions.

30 games when matches were 1-3 days. No one cares about your posts lol. All you are doing it “not” helping your server by doing it. As several organized guilds had then at the beginning of the game rare or exotic vs the huge majority that did not? That is anything but balanced. Everyone having exotic is much more balanced than someone having rares vs someone with starter armor. Logic is hard!

NS is easily the most resilient and independent guild group we have fought from JQ; keep it up NS- we would like to see you out on the battlefield again, hopefully when we can get more of our guild out.

There’s no doubt that JQ has played the meta very well. They deserve respect for such a consistent effort over a sustained period of time.

This, of course, isn’t consistent with the JQ forum posters who claim underdog status despite the clear evidence that JQ has been dominant since TA dissolved.

You should maybe check your servers history and the time from march 2013 to now and how many guilds and servers BG absorbed and recruited.
While doing that you could check the threads from our matchups and how many of your fellow beastgators tried so hard to troll us as we lost guilds to our competitors or your EU and OCX pvd’ us only stopped by the transfer of IRON and KISS to SoR and overtimes from our SEA and NA guys that logged in very early.

Thanks to SoR and BG – at least the classy ones – it was an honor fighting against you and I hope the seasons will be worth playing.

Just want to correct you here, TA did not win 30 straight official matches. They counted the warm up rounds as their “wins” by warm up rounds I mean when anet was getting a feel for who should be fighting who and stuff. But they were great opponents to fight don’t get me wrong.

JQ & BG, coming into this week, I thought it would have been a deserted time just a kitten kicking but … I realized the big dogs are not so tough, we’ll get 2 of the t1’s many time,s and we’ll be right there wrecking ya’ll as much as we’ve been taking it.

But we’ll work at ppt more versus just fights. This week was 100% all about the fights and training. Special thanks out to Agg, and Strike Force [SF] for the numerous battles from north camp to the ruins we have had. Thanks – we we’re ttrying to party up with you guys to request some more and inputs. Always appreciated, in any event / much respect.

BG, I know you guys are on hiatus, we had the opportunity to battle ZN in hills i think Monday? But since then was not around in presence. Same goes for HzH, very minimal and KnT. Can’t speak to HB, saw one last night /wave back…. PLX thanks for some fights, and EE.

TA retired unbeaten after winning 30 games in a row against fully q’ed servers. Back when burn out, tanking and and training weeks hadn’t entered the GW vocab. TA also didn’t recruit from AA – let alone pay their guilds to transfer – in order to win.

“Buying” guilds still happened, I just cant speak for this specific guild.

No offense, but I don’t know why we can’t get along and play competitively against each other in a fun manner. All this recruiting from servers talk amounts to nothing because the entire scope of tier 1 does it and has been doing it to prepare better for the season. If that is what they want to do that should be fine. Granted other servers suffer a bit in the lower tiers, but they have the same abilities and have also recruited guilds out of tier 1 to help them climb the leaderboards is the past. (Downside is a lot of those guilds have gone back home to tier 1 for the WvW seasons.)

If people on BG honestly think they haven’t been doing the same thing then why did you pay 1K+ gold for just a few PvP players this week off of Anvil? That isn’t a rumor it is a fact because I know the guys that moved and they are good people. I really do hope they are happy on BG as well and intend to stay <3. Do I fault BG for this? No, I don’t care because they are just doing what the majority right now are doing to be successful in the scene they want to be competitive in.

Teams recruit all the time in PvP from other teams so me as a PvPer (which WvW is a PvP based game type) it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had it happen to teams I’ve been on and, while the people that left I will miss them and that diminished my wanting to play PvP (if I can’t play with them I don’t feel like playing because they were my friends), I hope they succeed in their new team/environment as they were phenomenal people to play with (in relation to skill and attitude).

People tend to create drama over everything that is competitive and if you let it get to you it does more harm to the scene than good as the PvP community has had its ups and downs. My advice is forget the drama, focus on your game/server, if someone wants to recruit someone let them, if those guilds want to transfer that is their choice, and above all else have fun.

It is none of your business how another server purports themselves to advance in competition it is only your business to do the best you can to help your server advance. If they are unethical in their means it will only hurt them in the long run because people won’t stay.

As far as I’m concerned if you aren’t a bm troll while playing the game you’re fine in my book.

P.S. I think RIOT from BG deserves some credit for their character. They are a good bunch that duel/roam consistently and are always very sportsman like in that regard.
