Been playing it since around January and I do everything in this build, though the past few weeks I try my best to avoid playing with more than 1 or 2 other people. Before that I ran AH, it would probably outperform this in a zerg setting but you sacrifice group utility for personal survivability.

Pacific time around noon, GoM knocked out Garrison’s lower west gate with golems. (Anet’s new build saved us once, maybe an hour before this) Hardly recovered from that, Hills south gate was also breached by golems. Lucky for us, we pushed them out, but they left some thief and mesmer behind, and those, at least two, in Hills stayed quiet for a very long time – sneaky!
Done some sweep, our main force had to leave for south or Bay. I called out in the map chat that I would stay at Hills patching and sieging things up. Then I found a suspicious red circle popping up. We played hide and seek all around the upped and lower platform at Hills near south gate.
After several failed attempts, some (now) acquaintances came and formed a party with me, and I remembered those new toys, Stealth Disruptor trap, in my inventory. Anyway, we got the mesmer first, and had an ele stayed with her or him, probably her, awaiting her family or friends to sign the DNR form and claim the corpse. Later utilizing the trap, we caught the thief under the bridge near Hills south gate. Story ended with the mesmer gazing the peaceful blue sky finally called by God and ascended.

Props to NSP [SPCA] warrior(?) with legendary weapon and tons of boon minutes ago in SW of DR BL.
I’m that annoying ranger, or maybe just some kitten kitten seems really kitten ing you off, downed by you several times. Others, including the thief showing up later and the warrior later duelling you, are just people in my party tonight following or helping me. We just came back from GoM BL to clean ours, taking especially red camps there. The thief just saw my status, so he came to help from the other side of the map.
At first I was just trying to be annoying because of yesterday’s event. I, and we, didn’t /laugh or say anything bad about you in party chat. I saluted you after the thief downed you. And later your 2nd round with the thief, I didn’t mean to interrupt your fight, just another NSP mesmer jumped in. However, it seems that you are really mad at me.
I hope you do enjoy the fights with those two party members, the warrior and the thief. We, including themselves, all think that they have a good fight with you before others jumped in. (might be my bad due to what we did earlier to you)
Your fights with them are really good and very fun fights.

BTW, my first pet was a pig because we were joking at GoM BL spawn earlier, its name is Kevin Bacon.

Tell Purimm thanks for posting that warrior build. I’d been playing around with a similar idea in spvp (sword/shield + longbow, shaman’s amulet), but I’d never thought to try using banners. Mind=blown.
I’ll probably still use my mace/mace build whenever I bring my warrior into WvW, but that banner build is fun as kitten for spvp.

So no one (at least on nsp) can place any siege down besides golems. Being me, i couldn’t pass that up XD.
Logged in, gathered my beloved NSP WvW’ers, retook NSP BL, retook NSP corner of EB
Stopped a DR golem rush on veloka,
Took SM,
Nearly took Lowlands keep from GoM
Credit goes where credit is due, to the GoM defenders at lowlands keep, not the ones that were fodder for us to fill our coffers but to the ones who started mass repairing the inner gate when it was at 5-10%. Sadly we had a golem griefer who shall remain unnamed but everyone on NSP knows him already. Maybe with a few extra we coulda done it but overall very good defence, you deserve to keep that keep.

In Feudal era Japan, Samurais use to walk out onto the battlefield and declare their name, rank and fighting style and take one on one challenges before their armys would fight to inspire them. And of course to take the heads of their opponents to their lords.
That’s exactly what I do. The only problem is that GW2 turns all of that honorable speech and my polite challenge into:

Then my enemies think I’m being lewd and try to rush me with like 10 people.
