Would love GvG arenas. As long as they were not based on the sPvP system as it is terrible for anything other than sPvP. Limit of 30 people a side would be nice. Spectator mode like we used to have in the old guild wars game too.
Ok I should have said it better..But majority of gom are bad in pvp..ive seen some good ones also. Point I was trying to make was during tkitten no seige bug, Gom kept getting whiped everywhere. Now that seige is back…they r back to trebbing Anz 24/7, trebbing our keep or using golems which fail everytime cause they dont bother to take out oil.
To gom: Dont rely heavily on seige…maybe this is why you are one of the low servers.
I literally laughed out loud just now. Which is bad because I’m still at work, but whatever.
1) Seige is a huge part of WvW. In fact, one could argue the entire mode was based around seige. You’re supposed to use it heavily.
2) “maybe this is why you are one of the low servers” – Not sure if you noticed, but we’re all in the same tier here.
3) There are quite a few reasons we’re in one of the lower tiers, but the use of seige is definitely not one of them. I’m not going to get into details, but what a ridiculous statement.
4) From what I’ve seen we have just as many good pvpers out there as any of the other servers we’ve fought. Making blanket statements about the skill level of a server’s players is both incredibly subjective and impossible to prove, but you can believe whatever you like.

Silly GoM, everyone knows you are supposed to auto attack keep doors down while working in groups of 5 or less.
Agreed, it the best.
I tried this once with a party member. Those kitten doors are OP. After a few minutes, I threw a treb down right in front of the gate, figuring it’d do max damage at point blank range. Sadly, the build spot was destroyed by the time we got back with more supply. Finally, we threw a flame ram in front of the wall to see if it was as OP as the gate, but by then people had shown up and killed us while we were trying to build it! PvDoor is really, really hard.
I have a screen shot of genius flame ram placement on my desktop at home, but sadly did not get shots of the auto attacking or the treb.
I didn’t think XOXO took towers but this mornin I saw the SPCA/tM/XOXO trifecta holdin Lake tower on Gates of Madness. Blew my mind and totally killed me =(
Screenshots, or it didn’t happen! I refuse to believe that XOXO would ever stoop as low as to do some actual WvW’ing.
Haha, I can at least post the flame ram placement when I get home this evening. With the new random opponents, I’m not too worried about you guys seeing our super leet strategies. You can even surprise other servers with them!
Can confirm some amazing strategies. For example I’ve seen the power of the XOXO wall rams with my own eyes and have been practicing it since. Sadly I have not been able to master it.

Neither of these screenshots was edited in any way shape or form. I really think that Anet needs to work on its manners, the battle log in the second is just downright mean.
Hopefully this will help you on your wall flam ram skills. I’ll let you know when I solve the massive damage issue.
Please don’t judge our whole server based on the actions of one ill-mannered wall. We have taken great strides to representing ourselves as honorable and respectable opponents. To have one of our own walls slaughter you ruthlessly while you were simply building a flame ram is just disgusting behavior.
We’ll have that wall replaced immediately so that you can continue to attack lake tower in a clean and fair manner.
To the GOM guild mesmer and thief fighting me at the spawn. tough tough tough to kill, infact never was able to even down you. SOOOO many clones! Good show and props to you both.
Awesome fight inside NSP garrison lords room just now, they looked a little outmanned so I helped them out though. Special shout out to the DDLG commander who finished my bloodlust stacks. Unfortunately I died about 2 minutes after it was flipped so I didnt get to sit inside and farm DR today, and now I have to get my stacks again =[

Well looks like the new matchups will be today. Wonder who NSP will get to play this week.
In case you’re not following the chaos going on with the EU reset today, it seems like players from all servers are able to enter maps together. And on top of that, some of the players from their own servers are showing up as enemies.
I actually kinda wish this would happen for NA this week. It’d be so much fun having to capture/defend against friends-turned-enemies with former opponents as my teammates. I’d dig an XOXO/RH vs. Btsy/RISE team fight. Or hell, Os/BOSS/DDLG vs the world since they’ve all got a ridiculous amount of players.

Devs got tired of trying to find ways to throw us into T8, so they just decided to delete us altogether. :/
nod nod strokes unshaven chin wisely An obvious next step. Sure, we have the best server name but we invented having guilds transfer off, are no good without siege, and zerg it up in a tier that shouldn’t involve zerging it up. Have we ever won a GvG? Maybe this is for the best.
For retirement, I say we join Northern Shiverpeaks and follow XOXO/tM/SPCA around so that they can’t help but zerg and they become terrible at the game.

That was me, the mes from Obon. I’ve hung out some with the thief, but large and part you’ll see me roaming around GoM BL. I always enjoy a good fight. I was actually running a new setup for me during that encounter and perhaps I’ll use it from time to time as it’s a very nice setup for small groups and camp defense.
The reason you were seeing a bunch of clones is that I wasn’t running a shatter spec and therefore kept my clones and mostly phantasms on the field the entire time. Very nice fight, although we were hoping to get you guys to come out farther. The Erim (spelling?) and I really nailed our lock downs on that ranger friend of yours that last time. Poor guy didn’t have a prayer on that one.

Lol that poor guy was me, couldn’t get a lock on you at all with my elite and even being a bunker it was to hard to sift through all of your clones. My guildy was the Mesmer and was telling me it was a phantasm clone build but we both were impressed. Add the basilisk venom backstab heart seeker I was pretty spent. We should’ve taken it to the ruins where there was a lot more room and no coyotes lol. Honestly don’t think it would have made a difference. I was really tempted to switch to my warrior for a little more DPS but I was afraid to lose the fights. It can be so hard to find an even fight. Anyways thanks for the fights. Hope you got some good loots.
