Interesting fights last night in ioj BL against [xoxo] thieves and other random thieves. Not sure if you are doing something 3rd party wise, but there is no reason for a 5v3 for me to be getting skill delay. Every instance where I came into range of the [xoxo] thief my skills would lag. And I only ever get skill delays at SM and that’s even rare for me.

I just wanted to say, to the NSP Assaulter at Durios who was trying to destroy the Arrow Cart used to take out the treb hitting SM…
You made my day.
After the first few attempts of landing on that rocky outcrop and me using “Fear Me” and “Rifle Butt” to knock you off, was overshadowed by that epic jump you had made.
Using Signet of Rage for speed after we exchanged gestures, and then leaping off Durios, only to undershoot the jump completely but not to the point of a complete miss, but enough so you hit the slopped side causing fall damage for 1/4 your HP and then falling into the water where you were then ripped to pieces by the incoming DH forces… was side painfully hilarious…

Sadly I couldn’t replicate it when I went for you first as you were hitting the camp – I was too busy getting away from that NSP group that slaughtered your buddies. I may have had a hand in slowing them down as they tried to run away, though. Maybe next time they would have made it without my chaos storm giving them the chills, hehe.

I’m taking NSP’s aggression towards IoJ as a sign of respect. Even with DH having almost a 10k lead on both of us, they still know we’re too much of a threat to turn their attention elsewhere. That’s the price of strength I suppose. Now, we just have to live up to it.

IoJ was the only BL we weren’t outmanned other than our own so why not try to cap a few things. Not gonna sit by and cry about losing. Both DH and IoJ seem to love us equally at the same time it appears so obviously there is a lot of love to go around. We gotta take where we can, ;-).

BTW just curious, what exactly do we achieve for winning? Or getting 2nd for that matter? Is there a trophy I am unaware of? Cause man I would really want a trophy!

I/We are enjoying this matchup. There have been a lot of good fights. I have made some friends on DH that are pretty cool dudes and it makes it a ton of fun. I have a lot of respect for DH, IoJ is new to us so I have no opinion as of yet, but so far i am enjoying myself and you don’t seem to have 20 mesmers roaming around together so thats good! ;-)

I recently transferd from FC to DH. When I saw we were facing off with ioj, you could not remove the smile from my face. While In fc, we fought IOJ, they out numbered us horrible, would take the entire map.

It made my day the first time we took IOJ Keep. giggled like a school girl the first few times we wiped there zerg.

Have had some great battles with IOJ, Won some, lost some. Why they were up against a small group like FC is beyond me. All I can say, is the transfer I paid for was a great investment, having more fun.

I do have to give IOJ credit, they knew they out numbered us on FC, and still, after taking all our stuff, they never defended it for long, and let us have it back. They could of easily defended it, and shut us out completely.

When you charge at the head of your zerg into a smaller enemy force and your troops are slow to follow, leading to your staking, do you rail at them in mapchat or just accept it as the hidden price of that commander pin? I ask because the common response to that by (certain) commanders on my server seems to be “see ya I’mma go to EB now,” but I’ve seen you persevere through it a number of times.

I just wonder why so many people are afraid of dying (that and im used to my gaurdian and being tanky) When i know its a smaller force that we’re dealing with, the fight can be over and won a lot quicker if we all charge in, though most of the time its just me, its always a good laugh for me at least, and im amazed the times that i dont get flagged and it actually works

Everybody knows a zerg of 50 is higher than 20 (which IoJ rarely have more than this).

Every commander in IoJ charges first and still we respect them if they die. We would even teabag their corpse as a sign of respect.

Where was this? Im assuming it was on my ranger? Im used to dying a lot, and am both amazed and envious of some peoples ability in PvP

Look out for my gaurdian with the t3 human helm and wings Im not saying im good at pvp, but thats my class thats geared and what im best at

Ok, flipping through the wvw handbook on DH , I read here is says " will accuse player’s for hacking when they die". You sir are obviously a trout that swims upstream. You not only accuse our players of hax, you are winning fights and yelling hax!

They need to update these wvw handbooks. Dh players are evolving.

DH and IoJ have a “thing.” Its a bit abusive sometimes, but its a beautiful manifestation of life. :’)

NSP was welcomed into this with the legendary tale of Commander Bird Song attempting to solo SM against the hordes of DH. It didnt end too well though, and a certain Norn Guardian pick pocketed him of 5g while he was downed. See? Abusive, yet so beautiful!

Well I can say that I’m sure glad sorrows furnace is gone. After we peed in their Cheerios that first week they lost their gusto .

I wish we could fight AR and BP again ..those are the only servers we have faced that I feel out played us. But with this new system for matching it seems tiers and colors don’t matter anymore…so who knows where we will end up.

Anyhow,just wanted to say that the small scale stuff has been pretty fun lately.its been great practice for what’s to come.

The other part was their better defense and in the case of AR, some pretty decent zergbusting pvpers. We are definitely primed for a rematch after all these months, however.

We went into further investigation of this situation. We have the responsible bandits in custody and have taken blood samples. I am sorry, but we have found that you have been diagnosed with bad. This disease is common among the citizens of Tyria. The only cure is intensive training and one can relieve the symptons by self realization. Impromptu fight club. Lasted for 6 hours until the new build kicked us out. Had alot of fun

When I said out played I wasn’t talking about them having more people then us. aR and BP have some great players and they are very respectful.

I find it funny that every time a server loses its only because of numbers ,nothing else…it’s silly that people can’t say they were out played.

Since we faced them I don’t feel any of the other servers we have fought have that kind of cohesion and skill. What you tend to see is one or two good players in a guild then the rest of the lesser players riding their coat tails and talking smack.

I truly hope we can get back to gentlemans engagements..with killer fights and respectful banter on the boards.

I’d been hiding there since IoJ tried to do a sneaky after DH got that wall down; but the commander at the time didn’t want to upset you guys. After that I decided to have a little bit of fun and play with your siege a little – even running up to your lord’s room and seeing what the guys on the AC’s thought of my illusionary swordsman!

Oh yeah, and you guys should really be thankful that we brought the health of those DH omega golems down for you when they took our keep. It cost us a waypoint – but at least you guys didn’t lose yours! :P (Btw DH, I’d totally swear revenge, but sadly I have my last three exams the rest of this week, so I’m completely stressed about other, much less important stuff than wubwub. )

You might want to consider that what you are seeing is a small timeframe of a 24 hour cycle…
