It’s fun to kill people, and I prefer an unpredictable environment as opposed to cap the point. I don’t have delusions that this game takes skill to play like most people here though. If that makes me a fool then so be it. I’m glad you’re concerned though…. makes me feel all special.

try running with only 20-30 (no pugs, no commander tag, ONLY 20-30 BT)
then fight groups with 50-70 (guilds such as: TW, Choo, Agg, SF, WARD, FEAR)

If it still takes no skill and you wipe those groups just as easy, I will disband my guild.
I will need video proof, and I will need to see the following: Ally names, this means you do not just display your party members name / Visual of your Map (Do not blur it out)
And show the # of people on your Teamspeak / guild list.

The accusations in this thread are geting out of control, especially when certain guilds are getting named. All guilds have released statements, they should not have to check forums to continually defend or release more statements.

What is this kitten? We don’t hide behind ac’s, we don’t exploit, we don’t run. Yet you seem intent on throwing these accusations at us. I never call out another guild/server for exploiting although we know it is prevalent in the game it is a minority on all sides who do it.

If you have evidence someone in iron is exploiting I will kick him/her. So rather than constantly flame us, prove it and it will be dealt with if found to be the case.

I really don’t know where the Agg hate is coming from but if it’s coming from our enemies then they must be doing something right.

It has been a complete blast fighting along side Agg since they have been on JQ. The coordination between us has pushed many enemies out of their tower and keeps.

Agg don’t worry about BG or SoR except for when you are spamming your brand new AoE loot keybind to pickup all the bags. JQ is glad to have you.

BG and SoR and even us JQ remember one thing. Stay classy.

I think you should probally hop into Doc Browns Delorean and yell hootie who and come back to the future. Because RUIN hasn’t been a zerg guild since the 4th month of this game. RUIN fields maybe 20 – 25 people if we can all get in on reset. We use to be able to field 100- 160 people when all of our members were on playing guild wars 2. Although when they release new maps I can promise you that you will see RUIN as a zerg guild.

Although next time you decided to make some comments about RUIN and how large and what type of guild it is you may want to have actual facts instead of false trolling facts.

It’s called preparation, 80% of this reset’s meeting was about discussing the server-wide strategy to fight a 2v1. Indo called it and talked about the 2v1, that we should expect it, enjoy it, and then we all talked about how to counter it.

The reason why SoR seems “leaps and bounds” ahead is because we are, we have leaders that set goals and then we all talk about how to implement them efficiently. And we have serverwide goals, guild goals, and individual player goals, and all are set and worked towards on a regular basis. It’s a lot of effort, but it pays off.

What I learned from EB BG:
- SoR Only runs as a single massive mega zerg to lag everybody to hell

When you can not use skills a mile from the fight the issue becomes a Anet one. Winning by lagging everybody to hell is probably a strategy but it is a lame one at best if I may say so. I get 1 fps when the SoR zergotron comes in. No way to act, no way to escape no means to defend oneself, can t play… simply free bags loots for them.

oh and this is not a rant towards SoR as this is a legitimate strat…my problem is with Anet and it is sad because my favorite fights are the large ones with SoR on one side of the keep and JQQ on the other but at that point you can t use any skills whatsoever because the server is lagged to hell which makes defending almost impossible.

I really wish Anet would fix this

i dont think sor is leaps and bounds above JQ or BG. I think sor is ahead in terms of organizations but its all the small things that add up

1: server wide ts almost all the guilds on sor use it or have someone in there guild that does, this helps when they need help or wanna organize a push in more then 1 spot at a time, Be it on the same map or on all maps

2: all the guilds get Along increasing the use of ts cause they enjoy playing and helping each other

3: setting goals and then when u reach them set new ones

I mean, sure if you asked me 2-3 weeks ago who was the smallest server, it could be said it was SoR, but now I don’t know if they are the smallest, with a population that seems improved and their already stronger than most organization, it’s becoming quite obvious that BG and JQ aren’t equipped. I mean we admittedly 2v1’d you guys from the get go this match but we simply can’t keep up.

I dunno I think it’s just a teamwork thing. I spent like two or three weeks on SoR and I was truly amazed at how well everyone gets along and works together. There’s just a vibe on SoR that doesn’t exist on BG.

I probably would’ve stayed if I could’ve found a guild that I vibed with but sadly there was none.

When you can not use skills a mile from the fight the issue becomes a Anet one. Winning by lagging everybody to hell is probably a strategy but it is a lame one at best if I may say so. I get 1 fps when the SoR zergotron comes in. No way to act, no way to escape no means to defend oneself, can t play... simply free bags loots for them.

oh and this is not a rant towards SoR as this is a legitimate strat...my problem is with Anet and it is sad because my favorite fights are the large ones with SoR on one side of the keep and JQQ on the other but at that point you can t use any skills whatsoever because the server is lagged to hell which makes defending almost impossible.

I really wish Anet would fix this

Obviously this poster wasn’t at our little party last night on JQBL in SOR’s Bay if they wanted to see real lag. When the GvG between Choo and Agg had to be cut short due to BG attacking Bay and JQ swiping a tower then coming back to bay where Agg graciously decided to make their entrance. And SOR facing off against both BG and JQ zergs on the map even with BG making catapults and arrow carts on the walls.

Btw EB is pug central so either get used to it or go to a BL.

Also, more guildies =/= more active wvw ppl. ]All the week was like: fight 60 with 46… or 50… or less…[ But dont be affraid, Sor! we wont give the coverage excuse ok?

I like jq cuz even if they got outnumbered they give us good fights… sor right now seems to be all about numbers unf… =/

also, i’m not just talking about now. With ur new coverage we have 2 options: be outmanned or outnumbered like 2:3. A few times we can face equally in numbers with sor, and these r always good fights (even with sor making acs every 4 steps =[ ).

Just one thing else: i don mind fighting bigger zergs, what annoys me is the fact that sor cant accept that they already have excelente numbers in wvw and, because they lost in a week, they’ve made the “coverage” excuse to recruit more organized wvw dedicated guilds.

I think the reason it seems like SoR has more people is because they’re just generally more coordinated than BG. They have everyone going after one thing at the same time or they’ll be coordinating hits on several objectives at the same time so it feels like a coverage thing.

I’m starting to notice this more which is why I asked in my previous post hoping some SoR players would be willing to be more open about their server.

While I don’t agree with their posters or their current recruitment stance, I was being sincere when I said as a server, SoR seems leaps and bounds ahead of JQ and BG as far as organization goes.

No doubt SOR has great leadership as am sure Bg & JQ does as well. Most of the guys/gals leading the charge are pretty laid back, have yet to hear any of them rage on TS, calling people out, etc. However what helped most back in the day during SOR’s struggles with coverage was the bad apples transferred off. This in itself helped trim the fat of the negative nancy’s, wvw rage quitters, etc. that are prevalent on all servers. Am sure some of the latter transferred to BG, I know for sure a few that transferred to JQ during their heyday in the hopes to be carried.

Are you from BG or JQ? JQ does has a valid reason to complain ^^, but if your from BG then you have no right to say anything. No matter what be it 5 guild members or 50+ guild members the fact is that BG has gotten more transfers in the last month than SOR.
