This is what I have seen the last two times TC faced SoR. I can’t make this up even if I want to, and all you have to do to verify it is read through a few hundred old posts.

Anyways:

1. If SoR comes out and plays, we are spawn camping and running up the score.

2. If SoR doesn’t come out and play, we are patronizing you.

Classic case of kitten ed if you do and kitten ed if you don’t in my opinion.

Right? I get your point of view, but you have to understand ours. Simply put, if people are bored they either invent things to do to have fun in game ( like spawn camp) or they simply find something outside of the game to do (i.e. not come out and play with you).

Anyways, I think we all just need to lighten up about things that are beyond our control and instead direct our anger towards the game company that imposed this upon us.

There is one thing you can count on when you go up against SoR…

The match-up thread will be the largest out of them all and 95% of it is filled with SoR posts spamming something, anything, everything. Certainly keeps the place buzzing.

I get the feeling that JQ will be putting us on the map that they care the least about as we are sure to attract Choo, FEAR, TSYM and god knows who else. That queue will be 6 hours long likely.

Who wouldn’t want to kill Indo? I think most of TW is transferring off as quickly as possible in order to kill Indo.

I figure if it’s behind the wall, it’s fair game. Open field, I think Ballistas/ACs are just cheap tactics, unless you’re defending something like an open field treb, etc.

Well said. All is fair game in WVW, but mostly you will find yourself alone when trying to dishonor a fight between two opposing factions.

GVG is something that this game lacks, which ironically is called guild wars. Else, we should rename this game world wars, which is very near to world of warcraft.

Yes i believe i am,20 hour shifts upgradeing towers that other commanders or even players arent defending tends to do that.
On the other hand i believe i am providing a decent challenge on each tower SoS has.

TC it’s been fun, but FA is starting to suspect and we don’t want to ruin your relationship. They’ve been good to you and you know that deep down we are longing for someone else.

SoR, our matches last fall and earlier this year were great. However, we really meant it to end there. I hope you guys will not be offended when we say that we never want to see you again. LOL

Just wanted to say thanks to all competitors on the field this week. Special shout out to CERN and EP, when you guys combine on a map, you can make the biggest coordinated team I have ever encountered in WvW to date. Some would trash talk this as you replacing skill with numbers, I do not. You move well, everyone is coordinated, and your numbers provide you with a might on the field that is VERY difficult to deal with. 60+ enemies charging through a choke at us with the 5 player cap on AOE means your for sure getting in.

Most don’t get that math, but if you have 100 players on a dime (hypothetically, don’t bother flaming me that you never run with 100), you run with a 95% damage reduction buff (5 players hit from each AOE out of 100 = 95/100 immune to AOE = 95% of damage doesnt hit your team). Very effective and very deadly.

At the end of the day, that’s all that matters. Take the games rules how they stand, and build your team the best you can. You guys did that to the Nth degree, and had us playing like the beginning days of TSYM when we were the small quick hit and portal escape team on DB. Was awesome facing another team knowing you had a stronger force by far, the fights last longer, and the hit and run movements and play to play strats being employed by both commanders was exquisite!

Very much looking forward to facing you guys again when score has more meaning. Keep recruiting, cause once you have the coverage to dance in T1, your NA will be a BLAST to fight!

As for my closing comment for the week…as if, yaknow, this means anything as a lowly forum-warrior member of a great guild:

Had some amazing fights out there this week with some truly skilled enemies. You guys are a classy bunch, and I hope to see you again someday on a more even “around the clock” field of battle.

We spent a lot of time in the field honing our field fighting skill this week and have come out a lot more skilled and hardened than we arrived. We might have scored a handful more points if we’d tried to take a little more property and did a little less fighting…but what fun is that!?

Shout outs to IRON, FEAR, and TYSM. Thanks for a great time. I’m sure we’ll end up together again in the matchup sometime soon thanks to ANet’s complete misapprehension of “what players want.” xD I’m sure we’ll all facepalm a little if we end up facing off again next week, but for very different reasons. :-P

You move well, everyone is coordinated, and your numbers provide you with a might on the field that is VERY difficult to deal with. 60+ enemies charging through a choke at us with the 5 player cap on AOE means your for sure getting in.

Most don’t get that math, but if you have 100 players on a dime (hypothetically, don’t bother flaming me that you never run with 100), you run with a 95% damage reduction buff (5 players hit from each AOE out of 100 = 95/100 immune to AOE = 95% of damage doesnt hit your team). Very effective and very deadly.

At the end of the day, that’s all that matters. Take the games rules how they stand, and build your team the best you can. You guys did that to the Nth degree, and had us playing like the beginning days of TSYM when we were the small quick hit and portal escape team on DB. Was awesome facing another team knowing you had a stronger force by far, the fights last longer, and the hit and run movements and play to play strats being employed by both commanders was exquisite!

Very much looking forward to facing you guys again when score has more meaning. Keep recruiting, cause once you have the coverage to dance in T1, your NA will be a BLAST to fight!
