Necro is the most boring class to roam on ever… Everyone has run from me for over half hour now, the moment they see that minion its “screw this” and high tail…. Get on my ranger tho and show them my pet and BAM I got people jumping me left right and center…

Props to any and all ET/HoD still out there fighting. IoJ was where you were earlier this year and I know what it feels like..

^That times a million. It sucks, we know. But it’s not like we manipulated our evolution in matchups (throw a week or two and lose on purpose) to end up against servers with a fraction of our overall population. IoJ has been there, and in the past if either of the servers were in a matchup with us (IoJ) and a larger threat…we wouldn’t even bother farming you for points. Now however, we’re stuck. Sorry. It happens. Happened to us last week vs SBI. It’s lame, and it takes a toll on the morale of our servers completely. But there’s nothing we can do except make the best of it.

We have LOADS of roamers. LOAD’s of 1vx players in wvw, and a quiet a few tagless groups larger than 10 running map to map at least 50% of the time.

Both HoD and ET have given us a hell of a fight be it offense, defense, or open field. I’ve already shown respect before to ET because you guys just don’t quit. And it’s awesome. Not talking about tower humping where you chase them in and they defend, or pour out all at once, but plain and simple OPEN FIELD MADNESS.

Not for loots. Not for Wxp. Not because one has more numbers than the other….but dem fights. You ET bro’s & bro-ettes have heart. Never stop. Keep at it. Much respect.

I rarely have a repair bill. But this matchup has changed things a bit. ET is full of bloodthirsty monsters. Keep it up.

I decided to take a break from solo and duoing this week in order to level a guardian. I’m glad that I did, albeit at ET and HoD’s expense. I started at 29 two days ago, and I’m about to hit 70.

I promise as soon as I hit 80, [roam] will be out and about a lot more again!

Just wanted to commend HoD on their defense at Hills in their BL about an hour ago. That was an epic battle. You guys made us work for that keep and you guys should all be proud of the effort you guys made. I was leading the push on Hills and when we started out I thought we would be able to just roll in but you guys certainly proved me wrong. I was fortunate enough that a few of our oceanic guilds rocked up when they did, with supply that I needed. Needless to say, that block you guys did on the bridge was impressive and made us think twice of how we were going to tackle it. Yes, in the end we did take your keep, but you guys should hold your heads up high with pride. That battle for Hills was awesome and I can’t get the smile off my face, I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did(minus the losing of Hills, though it wouldn’t have bothered me if we didn’t get it after that epic battle)
Keep at it HoD and ET, lets enjoy this match up where we can!

I would like to thank the guys in HoD bl for the fights tonight. It was [GEN]’s first night out as an organised group (about 10 of us) and I think we did well considering.

Do you understand this match up at all? There is no point in even WvW’ing against your server with anything less than 5. Your server has 0 roaming guilds they all zerg with 20+ running from objective to objective.

If you really want a fair fight I’m pretty sure it’s been posted who to message to set something up. Feel free to take advantage of that.

ps- it sounds like your “group” was trying to zerg someone 3v1 and failed.

Serious props to everyone though, HoD and IoJ. Saturday night gave us some good fights and maybe for some it’s not the most ideal match up but hey, we’ll keep giving it our all and we expect the same.

IoJ seems to be less zergy than I had expected. Less than some <cough>CD</cough> servers we have faced.

There isn’t much we can do on this matchup, so I’ve been working on retake our stuff while IoJ comes and get it again… Hell, I haven’t seen gates melt that fast ever since I left Blackgate. There is from little to no chance of reaction.

So, in the end, I farmed 20 levels for my thief, and got a lot of Wxp aswell (My thief is likely to get at my guardian rank before reaching 80 at this rate).

I also run unto Honeybuns today… Too bad my thief have 0 chance of beating anything a condition necro. I hope it get better at 80.

I take it back. Ten Omegas? That’s Sorrows Furnace level of play.

I ran into Jeknar while roaming and we partied up. It was really fun! Everybody saw his uplevel and would target him immediately. We would rez him aso he could be focused and the rest of us could run amok freely.

Points are an indicator of coverage. ET does well when people are playing.

I don’t pay attention to colors on the map very much. It wouldn’t surprise me that HoD is choosing to attack ET (most likely) because they consider us weaker. I know Mend mentioned camping ET in some post earlier.

Now that you guys have beautiful coverage, I’d suggest practicing for them. I look forward to seeing IoJ climb the ranks!

Yea no joke. You [VLK] peeps are great!

The upcoming leagues should be interesting. But I think the interesting part will actually be what happens after the first season.

Some servers are in the unfortunate position of still having to face higher wvw pop servers week after week, despite all efforts to point out to Anet the detriment of that decision.

The interesting thing is going to be the transfers that come after the first season. People in the lower end of the gold league, regularly facing maybe even larger imbalances, may finally say enough is enough and transfer back down. That means that if people can stick it out, some servers in silver are going to be in a good position to absorb those transfers and you could see some interesting changes in the second season of the silver league.

In my personal opinion, servers to watch will be NSP, HoD and ET. Each has a solid wvw core, recently stable evolutions, and can probably make the biggest moves with the fewest additions. Not that I think this all about ppt, but it would just be nice to see some servers rewarded for their patience/tenacity.

Fun fights so far this week HoD/ET. If we can continue to keep things friendly, I’ll definitely be adding a recommendation to your recruitment threads once the sky starts falling in the gold league.
