That’s exactly why they failed though, they had three melee balls running around catching people in ones and twos which was nowhere near efficient enough to clear the lords room in 3 mins or less. If they’d been a large pug zerg they would have most likely taken it.

If it was a PUG zerg it would have wiped.

My dear, there was no 1 WvW guild in Garrison, all it was were individuals running around like headless chickens. You may have been organising things on your voice coms but the only time the guild got together was when they felt they could push some kills and as soon as we got anywhere near you would instantly run in all directions. Be proud!

I wonder why? Maybe because we were already stacking up to kill 2 of the 3 WvW guilds. We’re not as superior as you guys who can handle 15 vs server! We could take out kale and punk but not combined with you guys. Kitten be proud 25 people ran away from 60 people! It’s chasing a baby with 3 bloodhungry pitbulls.

Considering I was the person that was running the VoTF raid and I specifically kept us away from the other two guilds (unless they were getting swarmed). You also had in excess of 25 in total, it may have been 25 from your specific guild but from the server it was quite a large amount (check the video – especially at the end to see the combined forces of what was there from your side when you come to Bay).

I don’t see Punk getting swarmed here, yet this doesn’t really look like ‘’specifically keeping us away from the other two guilds’’ ?

I also fail to see Kale getting swarmed here in the Lord’s Room, yet I see loads of VoTF tags flying around?

Thank god VotF joined FSP! If they didn’t we wouldn’t have had such a great Forum experience! Their overall forum skill is far superior than I had expected!

Also, screenshots are not really showing what is happing. Ofcourse the groups run around, and every now and they get together. Not the best example tbh.

You might be better pointing at those times on the video since it will give you a little more insight into exactly what we did, not to say there werent crossovers but the only time we interfeared in a fight both in and outside of the keep is when our allies had all but-wiped and even then we gave you guys time to re-coup before we engaged! (Or do you forget running into the tunnels north of the north west supply camp?) then when we engage you all split off again.

Not really, check the footage of the early fight, the first 10-20 minutes, we were outnumbered and barely held on. Only later did the numbers on our side pick up, a pug zerg with your numbers would have cleared the lords room much quicker.

At the end of the day we had a blast, it’s unfortunate that you didn’t, but seeing as you’re already the most effective PvP guild in this match up and you decide to run hand in hand with the other guilds i don’t have much sympathy for you.

Except for all the whining, bragging and last but not least kittenty recorded vids. Thanks for the fights ystd in UW border.

WvW is WvW.. If you want equal fights with equal numbers, go GvG..
I was used to Q.Q about others having bigger numbers and/or some guilds are holding hands but you gain nothing for it after all..

Take it as a compliment if they need more people to wipe you.

GH is more like applesauce than a real apple.
For the success, it depends on the goals you have.
Fun- yes and no (bit bored they are wiping that easy)
loot bags – yes
Wxp- yes
Bay- yes
Hills- yes
Garri- no
Conclusion- four successes, one failure, one mixed. Overall a success.
But i have to admit, we as fsp are failing to win the trolling in this forum topic. So yes we can still learn something from GH.

Garrison lord room is one of the hardest to take over because of its very open enviroment and mutliple levels, yet it provides one of the most exiting fights as well.

I don’t know why everyone always talks about warrior banners all the time like they were the only ones who can ress lord with a skill. Warriors ress skill is the only elite skill (if you dont count the ranger Spirit) and has the longest CD as well. It may have shortest cast time, but I doubt other classes should have much problem either to ress lord with their skills, none other just picks up the skill.

And yes, Im warrior and I banner lords. I find it effective and I know it kitten es people off. Two good reasons to do it!

Just find a nice spot to stand and do your thing.
Me as warrior have a selfish zerg build and a support build, due to joining a wvw guild I swapped to using the support one, now i no longer have endure pain the the stability thing. I admit I do have stability traited to kick in on knockdown but is more on cooldown than effective. So stop the kittening about having way more skills to help you pull off a ress.

Indeed, it is more about finding a good spot to do it from than putting all your utilities to cooldown tbh. Take advantage of the chaos. I have hand rubbed the lord up in the middle of the chaos in garrison multiple times. One of those times was few days backwards when there was enemy groups in our garrison and they killed lord and ran straight away from him. Me and couple others ressed him in matter of seconds with rubbing.

I’ve seen you run close to 35 players in a raid. It played like a slideshow for me and I didn’t feel that you were a superior skilled organised super-guild but simply a large group of players farming kills. You may argue that FURY runs close to 30 players at nights but that usually means everyone is more laid back and lose focus.
Either way I love you guys how you are but I’m not impressed and you certainly do not resemble the picture I had in mind for VoTF.

Earlier in this thread when XxX said they didnt have the numbers to match you and INC, you said you felt the fights were fair. Well I am going to say the same to you. We dont field 35, the first night we raided on this server we capped out at like 32 for a brief few minutes, and only because several guilds were coming to the map so people were curious to fight them. The second day when fighting FURY we didnt hit 30 players. So just as you told xxx I could tell you the same, I felt the fights between us were fair. And I am quite confident FURY and RAGE are both capable of matching our numbers, regardless of how much you say “this is low tier”.

If we didnt live up to your expectation of skill, then I am sorry, but then again, having a guild with a lot of good players in it is hardly unimpressive. If you truly do feel we wouldnt compete in even numbers then we can always GvG and I can refer you to videos of our past gvgs to see how we play.

Either way I have been suprisingly impressed by this tier and the GH guilds, a lot of you are actually willing to fight and do give us enjoyable nights. I would hardly say this tier is out of place and bear in mind a league system comes in very soon so we will be paired up with a lot of different servers, AM included, so during the course of those 7 weeks our raid of 20-30 will hardly be too large. And in anycase, during our scrims with HT, with our entire guild on the map to watch, we actually had the outmanned buff, so you are going to have a rough time convincing me you do not have the numbers on your server to fight us, cause its right infront of us every night, you easily do, that or our guild is not as big as you think else we wouldnt be getting an outmanned buff.

There were no other objectives, we owned hills and bay at the time, and even if they took them back we didnt care, those 2 were flipped from t3 to paper, all we wanted to do was remove the upgrades on garrison.

When VoTF set their raid the intention wasnt “get the highest ppt” it was simply, flip each keep once to remove upgrades.

I wouldnt say we failed, I would actually call it quite the success with the amount of bags we farmed from it plus the amount of times the lords drop reset, that is worth something surely?

So why the need for all the QQ? Without those mechanics being as they were you wouldn’t have got anywhere near as many kills as you did and wouldn’t have collected anywhere near as much loot.
If you truly didn’t care about taking Garri then you should celebrate the mechanics that prolong your fights. If you did care then I’m sorry, but no matter how much fun you had collecting your loot you still ultimately failed in your goal.

And tbph none of this would be a point of discussion at all if your members hadn’t come onto the forums to have a cry in the first place

A competitive matchup always brings out a “competitive” matchup thread Underworld must be feeling a little left out, though Iorlas is doing his best.

As for the matchup – I have been quite impressed with GH. Definitely stack up well with Gandara and Aurora in terms of variety of guilds and coordination. Have also been impressed with our new additions to FSP and its nice to see us working together and competing well. Bodes well for the league. Underworld with the addition of another guild or two will also be a force to be reckoned with in silver league.

As for the thread – its certainly been interesting. Although the trolling has been generally of low quality, its kept going by sheer persistence from the trolls and the attempts at having a reasonable discussion with them

We would like to put more of a fight up, But alas some of our more “senior” community members have destroyed our wvw community this week, We’ve had lots of guild members transfer off uw due to diminishing wvw, and some guild have even just plain left Underworld. And i honestly say that i’m sorry we can’t put up more of a fight for you guys. Until recently i had no idea why this was and it has just come to light that this is the work of our own guilds and such, in a twisted idea that has completely backfired.

I’d just like to make clear that i think the guild leaders mentioned in the following link are the leaders of a “fractured” part of underworld and do not represent our whole view of world versus world. They are a dissapointment to our server and this entire game mode. Please enjoy this.

Thanks, [ape] will still put up all the fight we can in wvw, but we’re only 10-15 at our strongest at the moment so i doubt it will make up for this blow.. hopefully this will make them see how ridiculous this notion was and is.

Very sad to hear about whats going on with your community, just read the thread you linked and tbh there was alot of FSP who had the same idea as this, but in the long run your going to be ping ponged between bronze and silver league and your first really hard fight in silver is going to demoralize your server big time (which I would hate to see for any server) and you ain’t gonna budge from being back and fore between the 2 leagues. We chose to give it all we got and push to grab a safe spot in silver to push harder to raise the ladder, we had 2 guilds transfer (very nice guys may I add) and the folks that have been doing night shifts are the same guys n girls that are playing through the day too, they are putting in obscene hours and are on the verge of burning out bless them. All in all i would say don’t think of the glory of bronze to get stronger, the ones you want in WvW are the ones that still give it all you got when they are losing not just when they are winning. I seriously hope you can rebuild your community and rethink this crazy idea, and think in the long run further than you initially thought.

Yes your gonna end up with some nice numbers winning the bronze league, but the wrong type of people. They will be the people that only play when your winning, which will knock you straight back from silver to bronze again, going down this road you may even lose more than you already have which means more to replace, In which case you may not even get to win bronze.

I’ll say it again I hope this is not your only solution and you find another way in any case I wish your community the best of luck and hope to see you again soon which ever road you take.

Big disappointment is all I can say, then again I guess some only like to put their all in when their zerg train has the superior numbers when player skill becomes irrelevant.
Guess we better get used to seeing the Outmanned graphic on our screens a lot more. Still, I enjoy running alongside APE and RAIN and if they are still planning on showing up I see no reason to stop lending a hand where possible.. win loose or draw, its all fun.

As for the carpet baggers I hope ANET takes note of what their shoddy matchup/League system can do to servers in such a short space of time… I will hazard a guess Underworld is not the only server to be doing this though and I will be the first to raise a glass and cheer if those players taking this cheaters approach get dealt the hand they deserve by ANET, but we all know that wont happen because ANET don’t have a clue how to resolve such issues anyway.

All this “we are giving up to drop to bronze” crap is making me wanna fight harder to mess up their plans!

Too bad most from Underworld seem to have decided to “go Bronze” and lose to be at top of Bronze League to be able to farm easy then(instaed of being at bottom of Silver).

Really boring. Because of this most of the time there is no commander at EB and we are perma outnumbered. Lol.

Only doing dailies and usually I play a few more hours if it seems fun. But does not seem fun at all these days. I should get some gems and transfer to anothe server. Lol.

On a side note: If we really go Bronze and manage to lose 1 or 2 more ranks(I think next matchup we need to lose 1 more rank or next server to win 1 more… might even work if we perform bad and the next server performs well) I’ll start to troll a bit and waste supplies or trash Golems for the lulz… since there probably isn’t any other fun with us pwning all the other servers then.

Dear GH and FSP. You might have noticed some of our guilds leaving this week, and none of the remaining ones fighting, Aside from XXX [Rain] [APE] and of course [Gum]. We would like to put more of a fight up, But alas some of our more “senior” community members have destroyed our wvw community this week, We’ve had lots of guild members transfer off uw due to diminishing wvw, and some guild have even just plain left Underworld. And i honestly say that i’m sorry we can’t put up more of a fight for you guys. Until recently i had no idea why this was and it has just come to light that this is the work of our own guilds and such, in a twisted idea that has completely backfired.

I’d just like to make clear that i think the guild leaders mentioned in the following link are the leaders of a “fractured” part of underworld and do not represent our whole view of world versus world. They are a dissapointment to our server and this entire game mode. Please enjoy this.

Upgrading your WvW community? Think about what you’re doing to Dzagonur.. You want them to take your place in Silver League while they are even lower in ranking then you.. I’d never expected this from UW community, especially from WvW guilds.

Saddest thing, the forumstarted is from same country as I am.. Such a disgrace..

is late to drop to another league,change server go to vabbi or whiteside ridge so u all can fight empty keep and feel strong,the league consider like last 8/10 matchup so go cry elsewhere.

First, i feel really sad knowing about what most UW guilds want to do about the leagues… But i think also what happens at that server should stay on the server, and not have some1 come to the forum and post something from a closed server community forum. It’s disrespectfull to come in public with private stuff, that should be dealt with internally, and not as some public excuse. As a former UW, i feel sad for what’s happening, but even more ashamed with the atitude of coming public…
