Just for the record, I don’t think I’m the only one using this “OP” build. “OP” because Mr. OP necro from Imp just slaughtered me several times, showing that there are builds that kill enemies more efficiently than a PU condition build.

Necro is the one hard counter to a PU condition build. Other than that PU will pretty much tear apart any power speced character, any melee character and give condi characters a run for their money if they have the correct utilitys.

Also i agree some necro builds are way out of hand, dhuumfire being one. Nerfed in spvp already but sadly not in wvw >.<

I don’t run dhuumfire. It’s useless against pu mesmers anyway. The challenge lies in finding a good time to burst in between all the stealth/moa/distortion/blocks/aegis…

@Gizmorage: I have to admit it: I hate to fight other necros and try to avoid it at any cost. I don’t like being feared, crippled, chilled and see myself slowly bleeding out. Should you play a power necro, i’m up for it on thursday

Again great fights. “Gloating = bad” aside… I think we deserve some gloating after yet another evening of outnumbered fighting, since we aren’t saying FoW is bad. Every victory of tech is on balance with a loss (we do get killed sometimes you know!).

Held vale in FoW borderland occupied for half an hour or more with a group of 7. And yes I’m quite proud FoW sent a zerg our way in order to finally chase us out. You even had to drive us away with cannons after killing a group of 10 FoW. ^^

Well, regarding special treatment, i usually don’t attack upscaled players, unless they are attacking me/something in my color or are companied by one or more 80s.

I’ve seen you guys having pretty huge struggle against random roamers having at least twice their numbers, so killing up-leveled ranger isn’t something certain.

at no point in my post did i claim to have balls, gvg-ing isn’t my thing, but again, if you find us, go for it.

No i’m not. Me/we came to Vabbi when FURY disbanded to r o a m. I’m not here to raid because i know that a guild raid of your size has nothing to fight here. A group of 20-25 people (there are pugs with you, you know) is too big for these tiers. I have played in almost all tiers and it’s laughable how bad you are for a guild raid.

Ofc gvg is not your type. Only the fact that you call gvg a 5vs5 and you hide behind this shows how bad you are in PvP.

well thank you for all your lovely insults, i’d love to pick flaws in what you just said more but it just doesn’t seem worth it. bare in mind i never insulted you, your server or your guild.

I’ve never seen a Tash without that guild group, and I do a fair bit of roaming on your borderlands. I’ve only been veil bombed once and died, and that was when I sat back down from taking a wee wee. Truth be told, I was laughing my kitten off, not that it happened, but why you actually thought the need to kill someone not moving, maybe it was a practice run? I’ve seen my group of LST’ers wipe your group, we did the stack, the might spam, the AoE, and you lot veil bombed into a brick wall! Credit, we lost 2 lowbie players, but the rest was lvl80 and you’ll got stomped. This was a fair while ago now, maybe a good month back, before I started hating you lot, when the fights were even. Those were the fun times, whats happened since then?… Enjoyable fights… no more. Sad Face

we actually have plenty of roamers, some are good, some less, but more to the point they’d be roaming on other borders, not much point camp flipping our own border.

which is back to my quoted post, why wouldn’t we kill you? and why not use group tactics? if you’re on our border, you’ll be camp flipping or harassing players. both of which makes you a bad guy, which we [the good guys] have to deal with.

as for the last point. the season happened. we all got matched up against ros, drakkar and dzagonur. instead of whining about it like everyone else we doubled our team size and tripled our roster, and even with this expansion [despite what the haters say] we still only run teams of ~15. while we were running we managed to stay competitive when the rest of the server gave up.

as to whether that will change, it’s doubtful, the other servers we fight will [and do] have guilds much larger then ours and wsr just doesn’t have any other means to deal with that. if that means we’re going the be the guild that vabbi’s hate on then fair enough, but keep in mind again, this is all you hating on us, not the other way around.

anyway, i’m done with the whole forum warrior thing, it makes playing against vabbi very unpleasant. i won’t be posting again.

Likewise, although I never have been on Vabbi, I have been in these forums for quite some time.. Mutual respect, those were the days..
And then I see that LosRe-dude spreading his words of love and I see that he’s Vabbi.. Yeah.. Times surely have changed..

Whether the comments about skill are warranted or not, the other stuff is not that unexpected imo, actually surprised it’s taken so long.

One particular player who transferred to Vabbi around the start of the season (and has been making large efforts to get more players to the server, including WSR guilds) recently proclaimed in chat “[TasH] are here we should leave, those guys are pure synchronization we’ll never beat them. I know I used to play with them”. It’s like a red rag to a bull, whether it came from the guild or not.

The other main thing is, as mentioned before, the bulk of Vabbi players play at this end of the ladder because it is away from all the zerging and stacking of the higher servers. When many guilds bandwagoned to RoS there was a lot of comments about how guilds running in such large numbers have no business at this end of the ladder. Guilds after all mainly fight other guilds of similar size or zergs of larger size…. and whilst the latter are quite rare the former are even rarer.

The only similar down here are [Jd], who have been here for longer, the only reason they are receiving less flakk is because they aren’t known for chasing down individual players (although it does happen – see this thread!), let alone pulling them off walls or going out of their way for that one kill on an upleveled.

The playstyle of the upper tiers is trickling down to even the very lowest servers, (although that’s more the cause of big guilds jumping to other servers for reasy wins and affecting the whole league) and it’s quite simply.. not fun. Ultimately people like challenge, and 1v20 is not any form of challenge for either side, so is neither understandable nor enjoyable, and hence will be more likely to gather responses like the above.

As for the hate, i don’t represent my guild, and surely i don’t represent Vabbi’s community. I usually don’t talk kitten for other people because, let’s say i play to have some fun. My only problem is that when someone insult me i want to insult him back. Don’t blame me, blame my parents!

Was funny, yeah. You should roll zerker necro more often, i’ve never seen so many Halting Strikes and Mind Wracks critting for 4-5k before

hahaha, well it was nice to see some numbers for once…. autoattack build go go!
(but kitten i’m a distracted person, then i put my dire gear on and kept zerker trinkets ^^ well it worked, so so :p noticed this morning)
