Looking forward to being able to play a bit more this week and command a couple more of our raids! Although I am having a bit of a slacker’s fortnight due to university freshers.
Looking forward to some great fights and sieges this week! Kind of gutted we didn’t SFR/Vizu, would be nice to have a test run before the leagues commence in a few weeks.

Sogradde’s initial “who would have thought” was sincere, not sarcastic. A lot of us had been expecting a tough beating in this matchup from the very get-go; we’re a server rising from t8, doing really well and generally stable atm, but it’s the first time we’ve faced a t1 opponent ever since the randomised matchups. Yet we managed to pull off a really strong reset, ticking highest, ninjaing SM and having a-plenty of good and really equal fights.
you know i was joking much like the other dude from our server that posted a pic also lol then i just remember all the forum warriors GH has xD but honestly yh you guys done really well at reset and i got to admit myself i was also shocked with the guild groups and coverage we have here on piken we were ticking poorly @ reset so props to you guys and im already looking forward to prime time tonight. because this morning stomping and afternoon i hate (mainly prefers equal and good fights from both sides of the field)

However we still had some great fights, even though we are slightly out of shape. Reset makes even the best of guilds crazy for the points. Let’s make the best out of this week (why can’t the leagues start sooner?)

Quite same feelings about reset We did run on our own, we did kill Piken on our own(ahh yees, so many friendly tags) and I knew they gonna try to blob us. Not so easy guys, not so easy!
Can’t stand those arrow carts and balistas from XT tho, I thought 30-40 guys vs our EXACTLY 24 at reset is enough without siege. Not really as we could see. Even bigger shame when losing a fight…
I’d really like to see guilds to do not run away or blob with each other but I really know that this kind of behaviour died on Piken when some guilds left. Now it’s heading in completly different direction.
But remember – we can blob too… what happens then you could see yesterday

By this evening everything will be T3 in Piken Border. I highly doubt we Gunnars will be able to tick as much as yesterday.

You are right we should be ashamed of ourselves. Third place at the current match? Who would have thought we would have fallen so low.

Since I’m kinda new to GH, from my perspective this is a good matchup to see the heart of Gunnar’s Hold. Obviously we can’t match the numbers PS and AM field, but we have to adapt to the situation and do our best.

To be honest I think you are under estimating the importance of our WvW Guilds. While they are fighting each other they are not wiping your PUG whilst you are trying to cap towers. Also roaming WvW guild’s are quite capable of wiping PUG group’s much bigger than themselves.
I have been roaming with my own guild and there is no feeling like wiping another guild group or a PUG group with more number’s than ours. As for 15v15 or 20v20 GvG I honestly don’t see a problem with that, you can’t get better unless you test yourself against other Guild’s.
I can see your point but the benefit’s far outweigh the negative’s. I often run with PUG’s if my Guild are not having a WvW event and it’s fun to just go crazy but nothing beat’s an organized group kicking some kitten .

Guys QQ for Piken blobbing is pointless you are fighting rank 3 server with that will come unbalanced coverage, big open raids etc
Funny is that mostly come from Fury which running one of biggest groups we saw in lower tiers and can copy with any guild raid from high tiers. So now you can taste how others feel when have to fight outnumbered. Just get use much you can PPT is not important at all but you can test yourselves in open field against other large raids.
You are right in regards to piken outnumbering us naturally.
That being said: We run 25 during the height of our raids, 15 during the last one or two hours. I’m not quite sure what makes you assume that we haven’t fought outmanned before or that we would overly care for ppt.
Our posts so far have been trolish in nature and weren’t even against blobbing in general (although the karma trains in the afternoon were huge), but to make fun of a specific situation.

Exactly. Piken is like a completely different server now.
Except for a handfull of guilds that were present at that match all the rest are new to us.
Much better offpeak now, but the damage that VII and co could do was much better.
Maybe we have become better but the feeling against current Pikens roster is not the same
Besides that, for the people that are worried if we will fight or stop playing, don’t be.
Our guilds and our regulars will be there no matter what to try to give you both a red nose.

Over here we are like 70 people running after one solo roamer to kill him. some times it is hillarious though. A poor match up in the end. No one is really having fun. We come home from work tired and all ready to cheer up our mood for a bit of wvw and ohh noes we already have everything :/
