No. The best case scenario for them would be we i.e. YB and EBay be tied at 3rd place.

If they allied SBI, then no way SBI would’ve let Ebay win. That means, they would’ve gained 3 points which takes them to 18 and then say wins the next matchup against us (next week) which gives them 5. That equals 23.

For us, even if we lose both matches (this week and next), our score will be 23 – Tie with Ebay.

I forgot that Ebay faces YB next week as well. There is no way they would be able to take YB down next week if they do not gang up on them with the 3rd team (NSP I think).

If SBI can hold 2nd place and really push FA next week, there could be a 3 way tie for first right? I guess only if FA comes in last which is highly unlikely but it would be interesting. Would that make everyone happy?

Next week we face Ebay and BP (rematch of 1st week). Its gonna be tough if they gang up, but we’ll see

I don’t think FA is losing next week. Even a 2nd place for them would be a HUGE upset.

This match has been awesome! two weeks of getting beat down followed by two weeks of us completely demolishing our competition we finally get the the soup that’s just right.

This match has it all! small men teams running about, zerg battles, siege wars, scout’s roaming all over every map, you never know what you are going to get. a small scrap will turn into a full blown battle! I’ve been part of a few “small” 3v3, 3v4, 4v5 fights and literally see The enemy team trickle in from one enterence to a supply camp, while my own did the same from another. when a fight grows from a hand full of players to a camp full, that’s a kitten fight! Lots of happy laughs.

This match has it all. I have seen a golom escorting a yak, I have also seen 25+ escorting a yak. I know that there is a lot of kittening about Ebay and YB working together. So, when I see an ebay and an SBI fight, I help Ebay just to keep the impression going.

I have also run into a pack of ebay killing SBI and been slaughtered. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and then you have, wvw.

I would like to thank the 5?6?7? 8? 10? man DDLG grp at the south sentry for not killing me when I auto ran into your team while packing my bowl. I’m looking down working on my stuff and I hear a few people yelling at me in TS. Naturally everyone else had stopped. I strolled right into the middle, and was getting attacked for a moment, then it stopped and I was left to auto run further south.

I have never understood all the hate against SBI, please explain.

The hate is relatively recent. We used to be a respectful and respected server. But we got some troll transfers, which encouraged the few native trolls that were already there and you have the current SBI.

I have to say I’d rather have the old SBI back. Even though we lost to BP every time – it was BP who were the jerks – and we hated them, not necessarily for beating us but for being jerks about it. We have turned into the BP that we used to hate.

If you look back in past match threads you will see why other servers hate us. The trolling – and not just lighthearted trolling but being jerks trolling. The emote spamming. Chestthumping. The going to other servers and spying (I don’t know that it is actual SBI people but I can believe it knowing the few jerks that we have on our server).

Now I know every server has trolls and jerks. But when they get big enough so that they drown out the good people on the server then you start getting the hate. As mentioned by others, we even have people who troll us. Unfortunately you can’t kick people off your server.

I am glad to hear that most recognize it is not the mainstay of SBI who are doing this and that we don’t condone it as a server or the leadership. In fact, I’d bet that if we could we’d go out of our way to repair any spying or sabotaging that was done.

I just hope they don’t drag down the rest of us. Everyone of good character just keep up the good fight and have fun.

You just don’t get it. You see half a story and sloppily patch the second half together with little to no imagination at all. Yes, Yaks takes the keep back. but we don’t just leave it for EBay. We make sure it’s got 100 supply in it first so they can queue an upgrade.

Last night some of the larger guilds from Ebay and YB met at IHoP to discuss thanksgiving day coverage across our collective bl’s. We’ve got a channel in our team speak so that we can talk with Ebay too.

A few things nobody has complained about and I’m a little let down.

YB sets up 3 rams on Ebay, Bay Ngate. Ram it down, we then Let EBay in to finish it off while we went to crack open Hills. Not a single Thank you emote. and not a single SBI noticed or complained. for a bunch of people looking for proof of a double team… .. The only way we could have helped more is if we used knock backs to move them to the inner gates so they could afk and make coffee.

Nobody found it funny or odd that we had 4, 1,2,3,4. four! trebs set up in NE camp to treb onto hills, and for comedic purposes, we alternated the trebs, YB, EBay, YB, Ebay? nothing? maybe it’s because we were in comms and took turns destroying each others trebs when we were done and had a freaky 9 way in the snow and splinters cause we love each other so much.

I admit that it would be very tough for us to take on a double team from DB & SBI. DB seems to always bring their A game when they face us, including this week. They are very tough opponents. But, I for one would love that double team challenge.

Actually I believe that EB is the only place we do this regularly, most other maps have one main and at least 2 guild groups running.

Yes you have organization and some dedicated players, but don’t imply that you were rolling over and flipping the heck out of anything but camps. I was on D for about 8 hours last night so I know you guys tried and you tried hard and couldn’t make any head way. Only thing we lost was some acs.

Actually I believe that EB is the only place we do this regularly, most other maps have one main and at least 2 guild groups running.

Yes you have organization and some dedicated players, but I was on D for about 6 hours last night and can say I know you didn’t take anything in our corner but camps in EBG up until I logged at 2:30 this morning.

We keep SBI under +160 the whole night, camps, towers, keeps, doesn’t matter what, you lost all night.

So, wait, there are other servers rooting for YB to win? Didn’t realize that many of the other servers were to be honest.

I think I have read every excuse under the sun from SBI.
1) It’s only the weekend, wait for us on Monday, we will wreck you guys.
2) YB only starts out strong
3) ESO Weekend
4) Thanksgiving break
5) Our players are washing their hair, so we don’t have as many on.
6) You guys are working with EB
7) You guys sent spies to SBI to troll us

Guys, every server has the same issues as you guys, in probably an equal percentage across the board. You ever stop to wonder, maybe just maybe, both YB and EB hate SBI just a little more then each other? I personally respect EB more then SBI, because they have some strong roamers and good players. I know that I will get good even roaming fights with them.

Lol this its not like SBI doesn’t run 2 guild blobs. Yaks has been looking forward to this match up our forum talks about how to handle SBI started last Tuesday we were thinking and planning this week. Our goal was to hit SBI hard and not let you feed on Ebay if that means back capping something you took to eat your points thats what we were going to do. So far it has worked there is still time left in this match so the outcome is still unknown. Do not take away from our players though who are giving it their all to come out on top this week.

All i can say is congrats YB. Your server came out this week and shown dedication, and unbelievable organization, something SBI doesn’t have. You have been constantly at us and caused the server into a slump.

FA, im sure you will have a fun week against us owning our BL all match up.

Too much generalization going on in here. Please remember that if one person from a server does/write something stupid it doesn’t mean that everyone there agrees.
Its been a great week fighting and I don’t care which server is stronger or which wins.
Keep up the fights and all will be happy.

Props to SBI siegers, scouts and supply walkers. Its been getting harder to drain you guys of supply and keep you low on that siege. Same for EBay this week, whatever SBI is saying, EBays have been bringing their a game on all week, and considering SBI numbers and coverage I still can’t believe that EBay is still hanging in there.

Now that the match is halfway over it’s time for the Yaks to start fighting for respect on the forums and trying to put forth the notion that they didn’t step on Ebay to reach the high shelf.

I honestly think convincing an entire server to take it in the kitten all week so your team could win is a bigger achievement than beating both servers straight up. I’m not sure why you guys are downplaying this. I’d be proud if I were you.

Well then, since this has been established that Ebay is working in tandem with us, at least to some extent. This is how WvW should be working. As it was designed to work. I’m just happy we aren’t getting ROFLSTOMPED, like before and I enjoy this match up.

Now, let’s move on to a more important subject. Bacon. Yes, or no?

For me personally, I find it funny that all those guilds that bandwagoned to SBI to win silver aren’t going to win. I hate bandwagoning and find it rather pathetic. So naturally I have zero respect for anything SBI. And also if YB snatched 2nd from SBI that would be 10x more awesome.

I have never understood all the hate against SBI, please explain.

The hate is relatively recent. We used to be a respectful and respected server. But we got some troll transfers, which encouraged the few native trolls that were already there and you have the current SBI.

I have to say I’d rather have the old SBI back. Even though we lost to BP every time – it was BP who were the jerks – and we hated them, not necessarily for beating us but for being jerks about it. We have turned into the BP that we used to hate.

If you look back in past match threads you will see why other servers hate us. The trolling – and not just lighthearted trolling but being jerks trolling. The emote spamming. Chestthumping. The going to other servers and spying (I don’t know that it is actual SBI people but I can believe it knowing the few jerks that we have on our server).

Now I know every server has trolls and jerks. But when they get big enough so that they drown out the good people on the server then you start getting the hate. As mentioned by others, we even have people who troll us. Unfortunately you can’t kick people off your server.

I am glad to hear that most recognize it is not the mainstay of SBI who are doing this and that we don’t condone it as a server or the leadership. In fact, I’d bet that if we could we’d go out of our way to repair any spying or sabotaging that was done.

I just hope they don’t drag down the rest of us. Everyone of good character just keep up the good fight and have fun.

Though we sometimes forget to differentiate, most people recognize the difference between SBI’s “old-timers” and those who transferred there in hopes of an easy Silver League victory.

That being said a lot of people are also cheering YB because it’s such a change to see them moving out beyond the cover of arrow carts and moving offensively.
Originally no one in T2 was looking forward to seeing them again, but if this is their new swagger, then it should be fun.

Props to Yaks and Ebay for being out in force all week. Definitely did not expect your numbers to hold up. You guys have done well by largely focusing on us and sticking to it. If this keeps up then Yaks should get the PPT win in this match. And you two can say you beat the evil server :P
