Thanks for the couple of fights tonight, I haven’t played in a long while but there was a good mixture of fights, I didn’t even mind the ganking.

To be honest I got so frustrated with the metagame and the queues so much that I needed a break, (thanks to a certain person who put up with my walls of text :>) the same issues remain but I’ll give Anet the benefit of doubt for now.
We’ll probably win this week unless Gandara can keep this up thanks to our coverage which is a subject that has gotten old, let’s make the most of this week and have some good fights.

It would be relatively easy for pretty much all of Silver League to beat us if you played as dedicated as some of our people have, investing their time to be online at silly hours.

As for Gandara.. has anyone checked their population status recent? It is very high at the moment. So coverage? Meh!

Every match-up I’ve enjoyed so far and I’m looking forward to these next 2 weeks especially. Shame you don’t do the same.

Really looking forward to the next 2 weeks, contrary to belief we do actually prefer enemies to fight, 4 weeks of PvD has caused even some of the PvErs to grow bored haha

Hope You charged your batteries these last 4 crappy matchups you had, because Gandara will not give up without fighting this week. After last week win against Abaddon, Gandara morale is very high for sure.

It didn’t take long for this thread to derail, I’m feeling like crap atm but come on, if you want to QQ then fine but it’s like a broken record.
I hope Gandara do put up a fight on all fronts, as Ins said we like to fight players and not just PvD, as it’s been most of the weeks we’ve had since the leagues started but not down to our own fault.

Anyway to my surprise I saw quite a few S/D Thieves last night and of course, “The Pistol/daagger Thief” who i’ll be hunting for the rest of the week..

Can you guys end the discussion over who is the zergiest/ has best coverage/ has greater population? You are both as bad as each other.

Now with that said and settled hopefully FSP can start contributing to this match thread. Starting to feel so left out…..

Good evening guys, I detest match up fixing.
Today most of the major WvW guilds on FSP decided to from an Alliance with Gandara. To the extent that one guild will try to fill up the gandara border with afk’ers to prevent others from joining that border.

So if you are on Desolation and wondering how and why people are behaving like they are , this is why.

PS. This doesn’t mean Desolations behaviour in tanking rating until they dropped into silver was any less disgusting.

Us preferring to fight Deso instead of Gandara is actually a win-win-win for everyone.
Deso would get some resistance and would have something to log on for.
Gandara might win and have equal points with Deso next week.
They fight eachother next week and will decide who’s the best.
And FSP has something else to do this week other than waiting till next week.

God.. every.. single.. match-up thread this same thing, you’d think it would get old at some point.

In the past of our history we have also lots of alliances (like the old Greeks)
Why not in the game too.
Getting Gandara 1st this week, then its more exciting to see who’s going 1st in silver league next week.

We have seen such an alliance between Millers Sound and Abbandons Mouth too. Was it fair? Of course not. But Anet didnt react on this. So we can do this too act.
Its war, but alliances can be formed and thats never a problem in most cases.

You know what is funny King xiuras? You admit it’s nor fair yet most of you guys who formed this alliance still see yourself as much higher in terms of morale than Deso guys.

Please, grow up. You formed alliance, ok, your decision. But do not pretend you are better or it’s for good of whole match-up etc.

PunK will NOT take part in ANY inter-server alliances.
Nor will PunK get into a borderland to just queue it up.

A quick shout out to my fellow Gandarans …

Please stop chasing lone Thieves!!! For over 20 minutes this afternoon I witnessed no fewer than 9 of my fellow Gandara players chasing a lone thief around Umberglade Woods – who they had no chance of ever catching, he was leading them on and laughing as they all chased him (like a scene from Benny Hill).

Don’t think I’ve heard anyone speak of a server alliance in-game. Temporary alliances over the course of an evening are fun (used to do this with AG guilds when fighting AM before the season begun) but a week long server alliance seems very unlikely especially when any guilds involved will account for a small proportion of the potential population who will play WvW during a matchup. I know a lot of people will mostly be fighting on Deso BL this week as there will simply be more people to fight.

Alliances?
I’ve seen enough during the matchup vs. MS and AB, when they used to push us together to let us stay on the 3rd position (as you can see, on the prev. matchup we did +100k vs. MS). Since only two matchup are missing, I’ll play vs. everyone, I don’t care if it’s named as Gandara or Desolation, till it’s killable.

Anyway I didn’t see any alliances, Gandara is pushing us as always, so we’ll do.

Yeah I was there for some of that. So glad we were able to hold on to it! It was intense.

There won’t be another League for a while, thankfully.
As for this Alliance thing I doubt it’ll last, I think everyone will end up wanting to fight whatever has a red name tag, at the end of the day who really cares about the PPT?
I do if it’s a close matchup with all 3 servers on even terms; like during prime time, not with these in-game alliances that are bound to fail, it’s almost always 2vs1 on each of our Home BL’s anyway!
I remember when we attempted an alliance twice with SFR and both times it fell apart.

Meh, I hope most of us just care about finding the good fights and chill out for the rest of the week, even though so far it’s looking close for once.
It’s better than QQ’ing over something so petty because of how much Paranoia the Leagues has created, thanks to Anet.
