i think it would be interesting to see deep wound and cracked armor make it into guild wars 2; perhaps when something reaches 25 stacks of bleeding or vulnerability respectively and reset the stacks.

any ideas on what each would do in guild wars 2? maybe a burst of damage, or a new condition? i think this could improve the viability of conditions with multiple players

I think Deep Wound would be nice.
But if something is created that penalizes targets with alot of Health, there needs to be something that makes Vitality worth having (instead of just stacking Toughness).

Perhaps if Vitality also increases the amount of Healing received.

Lowering enemy armor is also welcome.
But Cracked Armor is the wrong name for it…
I mean, if it’s cracked, why would it become un-cracked after a few seconds? Self-repair? Then why do you pay for repair costs?
Oh right, you pay to renew the Self-repair enchantment. xD

Cracked Armor is pretty much functionally the same as Vulnerability, especially the old (stronger, but harder to understand) version.

Deep Wound… maybe. I’d rather have the oldest stack “burst” and deal half of its full damage instantly .

I like the idea of 25 stacks of bleeding bursting for half the total remaining dmg and resetting. Perhaps it could burst, and cause daze for 1 or 2 seconds (reeling back from the infliction of a deep would).

Vulnerability resetting effectively means you are losing out on dealing that extra 25% dmg, so I think any ‘burst’ effect would have to be pretty powerful to mitigate the target not taking all that extra damage.
