I wrote about this before, but decided to post this in this forum since my other post wasn’t moved.

It’s weird that new players will have to wait until level 80 to get the 500 materials they’ll need for the crafting of the ascended weapons when the first dungeon you come to is level 30 in this game.

I hope for Anet’s sake this is an oversight because this is definitely going to be a problem for people with alts as well as new customers.

That’s ridiculous.
When you reach level 80, you’re usually wearing greens and blues.
You then obtain exotics.
Ascended is beyond exotic, so you will be doing some content wearing exotics.

So requiring level 80 to gather ascended materials is only an issue for bots and gold sellers.

I hope ANet keeps it as it is, and mercilessly bans bots and gold sellers.
