Q:
Charrzooka - the Rifle model.
This (the freakish length) is how the model is supposed to look. I’d like a height scale slider on most weapons myself due to crap like this, but right now I consider the charrzooka and a few other weapons to be good indicator of players styles so you can avoid them as necessary.
Please note I said indicators and not quoted for the law, I change my opinion after I know someone.
Answering again, I doubt they’ll change it since that’s it’s only appeal – I think it clips less on asuras and looks somewhat ok on norn, humans and silvary, no?
Well i agree with you, But i am not talking about scaling down the entire model. Keep it as wide as you like just shorten the barrel to avoid clipping issues for the sake of the design?
I haven’t really gotten it on any other character ingame but feedback on how it looks for the other races would be great too!

Seems to clip worst for the charr due to the fact they are very tall and hunched over – though it always clips for everyone when holstered as far as I can tell.
Think your right there. I just think it’s sad that a Charr can’t hold a charrzooka properly xD also another option would be to turn the model to make the barrel face up instead, And as for the clipping issues with holding it out i am not sure how to fix that.
anyone think its really ironic that the race the guns designed for is the one it clips the worst for?

Aveneo is perfectly correct. Its a CharrZOOKA not CharrRIFLE
Not to mention the blast of the gun happens 2/3 down the rifle and not at the end.
Also funny in when shooting things high up, the bullets fly out from the top of the barrel and not at the end.
Hopefully Anet will look into this soon enough.

It’s a “zooka” not a “rifle”, and as such should be held like a bazooka, and the skills should have bazooka animations.
For those who don’t know how a bazooka is handled, it’s handled over the shoulder as depicted in the image.
They should just change the idle to the way greatswords are held when your walking.
