Hi there! I know this topic has kinda been addressed already but I’m looking for an update :]

I know Anet has name changes planned and while I started out with a mesmer I fell in love with the guardian and want to switch names >.<

Do you guys have any idea how far along the pipeline name changes are?

I too am continuing to wonder. I have a character on the table for a sex change operation and I don’t want him to wake up from the anesthesia with a female name. Talk about permanent psychic damage. This is an important feature to many players and I would like to see a higher priority given to it. I know we have the monthly events to consider as obstacles to core game progress but they should be able to throw a bone the players way occasionally.

What you guys say exactly

i think its not so hard to implement and it will give a lot of profit. you cant put a makeover kit and dont let us change the name. ill be disappointed if you dont provide this feature with this update T.T

It doesn’t look to be part of the Feb 26th patch… I for one would like to see this implemented. Seems odd to allow sex changes with total makeover, yet no name change. Must’ve been what Johnny Cash was singing about in his song, “A Boy Named Sue.”

Yep, another “major” patch goes by, and one of the features I desperately want and am willing to buy gems for still doesn’t seem to be on the horizon. I want my thief to be a male, as I am more in love with the male version of the T3 Human Cultural, but unfortunately is currently a female named Kyndra. Yeah, that’s a lot of stacks of confusion when he gets done with the sex change.

We know “it’s coming”, just like 4 months ago the AC Bow glitch fix was “coming” and still never came.
