Personality
No.
Personality is just a story choice. It as no effect on combat, and it should not affect combat in any way. Otherwise you’ll have people picking choices they may not like to get the stats they want.
It doesn’t matter how small the bonuses are, that will happen.
I don’t think it should have any effect on combat, but it should affect how every NPC responds to you and what dialog choices you get. Otherwise, what is the point of even having it?

It does, but just a little. There’s a few options in dialogs that will only appear if you have a certain degree of one personality.
In more than one occasion I avoided battles altogether just by reasoning, intimidating or sweettalking someone, but many of those situations are not properly noted, and you won’t notice them unless you see in the wiki that there was a fight there.
They should tell you clearly that you did things differently from someone who didn’t have your personality.
It’s a very bad idea.
It will make personality stop being about flavor, and start being about builds.
Even worse, everytime you change a build from crit to condition damage to healing support, it’ll encourage players to go and “farm” a new personality.
And just like there are players suggesting Dual Specs, there will be players suggesting Multiple Personality Disorder -_-
I disagree, Nurvus. If every NPC has a different response for each personality, it is not going to be about builds. Some will respond favorable to one characteristic and some to another. I don’t believe you can change your personality willy-nilly, so you will have to take your chances when you respond. Also, this will enhance the replay value.
