Title says it all. This is meant to be a collection of screenshots of your server fighting the new and improved Tequatl. And seriously – screenshot, or it didn’t happen. Curious to see, what’s the lowest people have gotten him down to and maybe to read some tips from those who have gotten further

HoD has gotten him to about 80%, didn’t take a screeny though. :\

It seems like turrets really only need about 5 people to protect each one, which then need to buff our guys actually attacking teq, while maintaining a decent ammount of scales from 5~15 (since devs said it does nothing untill 20 stacks). I feel if we didnt have as many people protecting turrets we might’ve gotten to phase 2.

It’s all in the learning process.

Sorrow’s Furnace was just a smidge above 75%

75% on Desolation, succeeded the Laser event too, then the timer ran out.

Blackgate go him right at 55%.

Yak’s Bend got him to a sliver over 75%

Crystal Desert 75% failed laser no reward.

Definitely a fake, he didn’t get ascended precursor. Like we all will when we finally beat tequatl, right?

But he couldn’t quite finish him off..

War Mace/Energy Aura so strong and pretty!

4th try fo crystal desert, 73%. Were trying food buffs, banners, empower, turret buffs. we even have around 50 people dpsing him consistently. but we hve no idea how to get more dps.

We just got him to 50% on Blackgate. Methinks we’ll have the bragging rights for getting world first.

We got him to 76% on EB. Not bad considering just prior we only got him to 87%.

Yea ATM 50% is brag worthy. Haven’t heard of another server getting him past 50 yet aside from Blackgate. A couple more tries it may either be proven possible or impossible by our server. The fight itself is great with a lot of required organization but the HP just may be a little too high.

Yet here I am, still in the same Splintered Coast overflow 4+ hours after the patch, trying to get back on Gandara. Methinks its simply your server pop and the time of day.

it would be nice if i could actually play on my own server for the new events.. why even have separate servers?

While i will say one of my overflows got him to 74%. Seems either Hp or timer does need to be changed a tad or both. Nothing drastic but needs to be brought more in line.

But please Anet either stop making content that requires 80 people or be better at allowing more into zones. People actually like to play on their servers for events.

Has anyone gotten any loot from him? We got him to 90% on an overflow but no loot… waste of time imo, will probably skip it if there isn’t any loot.

if you are expecting better loot from Teq, keep dreaming. You may have a chance at some new skin but overall still crap loot all around like the rest of the dragons/world bosses.

Not sure about Drakkar-Lake, but it might be Quatl becomes our new and second Karka Queen. ^^
Or at least a weekend dragon.

Oh, and the screen was really impressive, Quatl looks better now. Really liked the improved appearance! ;-)

So, you want loot for failing? No, you will not get loot unless you win. So, win.

Yes you do get loot for failing, have to get him to at least 75%

Blackgate just got him to a tad under 50%. I have no idea how we’re going to squeeze another 100% damage out of what we’ve got.

On vabbi we managed to get about 2% of its health down.

JQ just got him to 60%. We might have been able to get to 50% but the whole server DC’d as he spawned. We lost 2 commanders and lost about 30 seconds just loading people back in.
