Got a rare and about 34 dragonite. for boss chest and last chest from boss. Don’t remember the other few chests.

Rewards are a little underwhelming. Fight is awesome, I love it.

It must really suck for those playing im different time zones as well. I remember when I played on a Euro server 80% of the people were sleeping while I was on.

Yea, my question also. Specifically to the leaders who did the coordinating to make this happen. Is it just not worth the headache of doing it after you did it once or do you imagine yourselves regularly coming back?

Maybe tomorrow… most of the people there had been trying for a good few hours lol.

I can already see this event nearly impossible or exactly impossible(hoping not that) on ferguson’s crossing… Lower populated servers need a 5 – 10 minute boost in time. otherwise this event on my server will be ghost town in a month or less. But i wonder who will be the first high populated server to get this event done.

It’s day one. I wouldn’t mind betting most people are fighting him for the first time. Of course they don’t know how to win yet. There is also a large number of people getting stuck in overflows, I don’t think we will see an overflow win until a giant guild manages to get all their members there. Once people figure out the better builds and strategies to fight him we will see a lot more servers completing the event.

Give it a couple of weeks at least before we write off the viability of the content for most servers.

Good lord, the organization you guys have in that vid. I’m sad to not be a part of such awesomeness.

One huge thing I saw in the vid was “res at wp if you are dead” and I saw people wp. This did not at all happen on BP. There was a sea of dead people akitteng.

These threads are sounding exactly like AC did after it was revamped.

I guess i need to finally switch servers for more than just WvW, thre really is no reason to stay on a lower pop server anymore.

20 blues, a rare, I’d rather just have the mats, since they’re good for literally nothing but Salvage anyway. Less clicking that way.

congratz to BG!!! too bad i probably wont get achievements for this…my server cant beat him and is disorganized…guesting on servers that are organized is hard too since you get a looong list of overflows.

I predict that few others will as people flock to just a few servers to be able to complete this hard-nosed DPS check fight. Most servers will never complete this fight as it is. People who are interested will almost definitely guest to a server that has a chance instead of continued futile attempts.

That’s just my prediction, though. I could be wrong. I doubt it, though.

I will say this the first 25% is the worst.

After each mega laser shot the most important part of the fight is leaving about 10 seconds before the laser phase ends and getting in position to dps him hard. Fiery greatswords and ice bow aoe along with strong melee. That is the most important part of the fight is burning him fast and hard while he takes extra damage.

Another thing we did was stack and have the turrets fire cleanse on us as well as buffing while 2 is on cd. Then having gaurds put reflect walls up all around the stacked cluster, ressing people that get downed or killed in the first 25%.

We finished with 2 minutes still on the clock.
