Hello, going to try to keep it short and simple. I’m looking for a really good character name. I was unable to secure any of the names I wanted in pre-release and since then I have envied those who got the name they desired. Therefor I want to see what is out there and host a little competition/auction kind of a deal here.

I want to see some of the best character names here.

TLDR: What is your best character name? Would you trade it for gold or possibly a legendary?

If the best name does not want to be traded I will still award them something. TBA

**Trading of character names is not against the EULA for in game items. However, scamming is.

I will also make a video of this if I can think of a way to do so.

Character name: Its Rainy (got that on the first day gw2 was released Lol)

But really you need to specify what you like (super immersion name, joke name, etc.) and the profession and what race.

I named my ele Fire and Nice

“Calypso” and “Que”.

Sylvari ele: Elemental Leaf

Charr engy: Ragnar Turretfang

Asuran necro: Ghostly Brain

My Sylvari Engineer is named Twigger Finger.

It was in GW1, but I once saw someone named Yodeling Pickle. I laughed pretty hard.

I named my ele Fire and Nice

In Guild Wars 1 all the good Fire names, such as Cold Fire and Hot Fire, were taken. I ended up naming my ele Lukewarm Fire.

Asuran Engi: Cheeze Toastie

Asuran Mesmer: Most Improper

Edit: Not sure I’d trade either, even for a legendary. I mean, the Toastie has been around since prelaunch day 1 (it’s a character in its own right, has "personality" and its own song my kid sings), and Most Improper took ages to name and is also very conceptual in its aesthetic. Thus the names have a meaning to me I don’t think a trade would allow for.

Second Edit: I’ll offer up my asuran warrior’s name, Captain Zepp, for a trade, however.

Made a sylvari necro a long time ago for the sylvari race achievements, named her Craves Electrolytes.

Made a guardian to farm EotM, named her Totally Not Farming.

I saw a player tonight in the pavillion named Toilet Secret.

I have absolutely no idea what that meant…..lol.

I used to do Jumping Puzzles with friends on my Ele, but it always took forever to wait for them at every “checkpoint”, so I took it upon myself to make my Asuran mesmer named Scotty Beamer. His sole purpose is exceeding in jumping and port people everywhere. Wouldn’t trade his name for the world

Couldn’t sell or trade, she’s the Grand Dame of my Characters.

Had a Mesmer back in gw1 named (Specter Unexpected)
but i also have a thief named (Unfortunate Friend) and would prefer to hold on to that.
