Focus Gaming is dedicated to providing a friendly and helpful atmosphere centered around online gaming and community based social interaction. We have dozens of footage recorded within each of our chapters, showcasing our community and the worlds we explore. But not all of our media is developed from the staff, most of our videos come from our players who want to learn and grow their abilities, and then show off these lessons to the world. Fellowship of Wizards [FOW] is a North American guild that was formed from a core of skilled players who have played GW since the original release of GW1. After accomplishing almost every achievement in GW1, and growing an impressive alliance of active guilds in GW1, the alliance merged into a single guild just prior to the release of GW2, and has remained together ever since.

Our guild members have a nice mix of interest and ability in PvE, PvP and WvW, although the majority of our activities are in PvE.

Who We Are
The Sinister Swarm is a multi-platform gaming community with 16 years of gaming experience built into its tight-knit leadership. Through long hours and a great deal of dedication, the Sinister Swarm has grown into a well-respected and well-regarded community that has members still in it from the very beginning. The world “guild” no longer can describe what we have become over these years. We put the class back into gaming, always putting People before Pixels!

History
1999: Sinister Swarm’s original founding as SLAYER Clan for Team Fortress 2.
2000: Sinister Swarm moves to Everquest 1, our first MMO.
2002: Dark Age of Camelot, where we began our legacy spanning 8 years.
2005: Guild Wars, shedding blood conquering the battled fields.
2008: Age of Conan, having only spent a small time in Age of Conan, but our dedication was known server wide.
2008: Warhammer Online, once the Iron Rock guild of the week, Sinister Swarm was widely respected and feared alike during their reign.
2009: Aion, we moved on from Warhammer to Aion and continued our efforts.
2010: Global Agenda, Star Trek Online and World of Warcraft; with so many members and such a wide variety of tastes we spread our wings of dominance, we began not one but three branches of our interest in this year.
2011: Rift and Star Wars: The Old Republic, two promising new games, Rift a dynamic new game by Trion Worlds where we excuted both PVE and PVP dominance. And, Star Wars: The Old “Swarmpublic” which is currently still being played in wait for Guild Wars 2 release.
2012: TERA Online, led by Emperor Venom himself, not only the highest ranked gaming guild on the Jagged Coast server, but one of the most widely respected ones as well. Quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with server wide.
2012: GW2: Duke Legend began working diligently to lay the groundwork for the Guild Wars 2 chapter by recruiting, filling officer positions, and learning all he could about the game prior to it’s release in 2012! Under his outstanding leadership, many Sinister Swarm members participated in all the beta events and we were fully prepared with a roster of over 400 members when the game launched on August 28, 2012! We continue to focus on all 3 aspects of the game: PvE, sPvP and WvW, with some EPIC battles fought in the borderlands, as well as Eternal Battlegrounds and Edge of the Mists. Coming up on 3 years later, the GW2 chapter is still going strong, led by Queen Fate as Overlord, Baron Agathu as Vice Overlord and Elijah as Captain. Agathu and Lurkerfox have been streaming the new beta content, and we are all looking forward to the upcoming Heart of Thorns expansion and Raid Groups!
2012: Karaoke! One of the first in-game GW2 parties shortly after launch was a beach party near the bonfire in Lion’s Arch. We were trying to figure out something more to add, when the idea of Karaoke came up. We decided to try it and we had around 70+ members participate! It was such a huge success that everyone else wanted in on it, too – so the next time, we invited everyone in our Community and the Sinister Swarm Karaoke nights were born!!! Queen Fate continues to host Karaoke night about every 6 weeks, with a different theme for the contest each time awarding prizes in 3 categories: Most BEEautiful Performance, Most BEEdazzling Performance and Most BEEfuddled Performance! After the contest portion, we have Open Mic Night for the rest of the evening, with the singing going on until the wee hours of the morning! Swarmers bring their significant others & kiddos, and we make it a family affair!
2013: FFXIV: A Realm Reborn made it’s way into the Sinister Swarm community in 2013 with King Zodson at the helm! The chapter has remained active on the Cactuar server, with Knight Kaliaa as Overlord. We’ve seen recent growth in the chapter with the upcoming “Heavensward” expansion due out in Summer 2015.
2013: ArchAge: The ArchAge chapter was launched in January, 2013 when Knight Strovani introduced the game to the Sinister Swarm as Overlord. Like in TERA, we quickly formed an alliance with Tenacious in Archeage. Strovani passed the reigns to King Zodson, who filled the Overlord position before stepping down due to time contraints in 2015. The chapter has seen continued success with Killer Bee SweetCapsaicin handling the day-to-day operations as Vice Overlord since May of 2015, and Queen Fate assisting on the admin side. Fourteen new members joined the chapter in one week in May, 2015, indicating a renewed interest in the game, and we hope to see it continue to grow for years to come!
2014: ESO: The Elder Scrolls Online chapter introduced the franchise to the Swarm as an Official Chapter in April, 2014 with Duke Dracon as Overlord and Siliconhobbit as Vice Overlord. A Trade Guild, Ebonheart Merchants, LTD., was formed by the Sinister Swarm in June, 2014, as an outlet of buying/selling for Swarm members. It was then opened to the public and became a hub of trade for ESO commerce. Knight Splint has since taken on the roll of Overlord and the ESO Chapter remains an active, official chapter.

Summer 2015 & Beyond …
The World of Warcraft chapter has seen a resurgance in participation with Knight Angelhawke as Overlord and SweetandEasy as Vice Overlord! The “Strikers” were born as a static raid group for end game content in 2015, with an additional casual raid group for those wishing to get geared up and learn the ropes. As always, “No Swarmer is Left Behind!”

Black Desert has piqued the interest of many Swarmers, and there has been some activity in Syforge as well. Many are also looking forward to EverQuest Next, as the Sinister Swarm Legacy moves on, it’s unique Community allowing players to form friendships that last from game to game, and year to year!

THE FUTURE: You are our future. With the Swarm Initiative invading Guild Wars 2 and many other games to come, we need strong and loyal members like you that can cultivate comradery, loyalty and friendships that will bind us together through the tough blood drenched days to come! World vs. World, structured PVP/PVE organized activities and more await us.

We continue to foster all of the standards that we instilled in our community nearly 16 years ago. As we move forward we also keep searching for new members that (much like us) have higher levels of expectations and were unsatisfied with previous guild experiences. About us

Zerg was founded in August 2014 on the Sea of Sorrows server, and moved to Ehmry Bay in June 2015. Many of our members were from a former zerg busting guild on SoS, while the founding members have been playing together since Guildwars 1. All in all most of our members have been playing together for more than 1.5 years.

What we do

Zerg is a small WvW guild focused on roaming, defending, and havoc. Most of the day you will find our members out roaming or in small groups, helping the server defend, siege, upgrade, and recapture objectives. Our havoc play revolves around de-sieging, draining supplies, and taking enemy upgraded objectives, including T3 towers and keeps, or harassing the enemy enough to force them to call in their bigger groups to relieve pressure on other maps.

What we are looking for

Zerg is looking for players who enjoy small group fights, and perhaps has an interest in the art of defense. We are open to any classes, but what we would like to find, is players who are motivated to playing their classes well in small group settings. This includes at minimum, looking into the latest meta builds and running or improving on them according to your play style, If you are having success on a non meta build that’s ok as well.

What is Required

1. If you are going to run in our raids, then you are encouraged to join us on TeamSpeak. You are not required to talk, but you will need to listen for commands and information which is important for small group play. Guild rep required when you are running in our raid.

2. You are not to attack any gates, sentries, or dolyaks on any runs to sneak attack a structure, unless the commander gives the ok. The reason for this is we rely on delaying in making our presence known to the enemy, that also means not leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for the enemy to follow. Our success comes down to having discipline.

3. Ok one more, carry disablers. :P

Hours of Operation

Starting from around 12PM EST you can find members online, from 5PM EST onward to 11PM EST is our main raiding period, where we field havoc groups of 5-10 players. Most of us play every day.

THE PLOT – Set in the current world events of Tyria. The Order of Owls are attempting to replenish their ranks after the failed assault on the Mordrem and Mordremoth. With the betrayal against the Pact, the sylvari also turned against members of other guilds including core members of the Order. Many of their lives were lost in an instant. The remaining members returned to the compound, beaten, downtrodden, and demoralized. Suspicions of the remaining sylvari in the guild is high. The Parliament, the ruling council of the order, have implemented curfews and restriction on travels, and access to various locations on the compound against them. Will the Order regain their prowess and great stature they once had and will the bigotry against the sylvari stifle as it currently perpetuates? We go on the basis of being a casual guild; why you may ask? Bluntly put, we have real life outside of this game; it’s not expected for you to be online every night playing the game with us. What is expected is that when you do play, you have a great time with us! Don’t feel socially awkward to hang out with us if you feel real-life may be on a bumpy road right now. A Short History
Our Focus

TeamLegacy was originally established in early August 2010 community for MMOs. Over the years with more than a few friends, we have flourished and become very active. Our community continues to grow and interact with each other through various methods: playing games together, chatting on teamspeak, and through guild meetings. As a result of this, we have begun to see ourselves differently: we don’t see ourselves as a group of randoms who have come together for a greater goal; we see ourselves as a community of gamers. Most of us have gamed our entire lives, many even at a professional level, and now we’ve come together to create a haven where we all are encouraged to think freely and interact with others who share our passions. We are a community of kindred spirits; we are a team.

Legacy’s main focus is to provide a haven for philosophers and theorycrafters to have open, intelligent debates and discussions on game-mechanics, playstyles and top-level strategies; then utilize that information to become the best at competitive content. We want to avoid the standard cliques and drama of most large guilds, and maintain a helpful, positive, open minded environment where nobody feels as though they can not talk to another member based on social status within the guild, and we feel allowing everyone an equal voice is a great way to establish that environment.

Our leaders and current members have top level experience in games such as Warhammer, Team Fortress 2, Guild Wars 1, Starcraft and WoW. About Us:
Quantum Dawn is a multi-gaming community now looking to branch into Guild Wars 2. Originally starting over 3 years ago as a Planetside 2 outfit we have expanded into other games like Path of Exile, Warframe, H1Z1, Arma 3, and more. We also have an interest in recruiting for future games: Rainbow Six: Siege, The Division, and Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

The DKz are arguably the Oldest Online Gaming Guild/Clan (Guiness Record pending) having played online games since 1994. We were active during the Alpha & Beta testing phases of GW1 and during the Betas of GW2. Many players now inactive are planning to return soon and we have all current upgrades available. Hello, we’re The Guardians of the Divine [Gods]. We’re mid-sized (currently 250 members), friendly and looking for casual, experienced and even veteran players who are looking for a place to call home.

We are a guild based on the NA servers that run deepest during EU (around 60+ active members on during this time) but our guildies are from all over; England, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Austria (and a few from Canada and USA).

We are also preparing for HoT and currently getting members to lvl50 Fractals.

What are we looking for?

PvX: We are currently looking for casual, experienced and even veteran players who want to join a friendly community of players and experience all aspects of the game.

WvW: We are looking for another commander to run our EU time zone, we have some very experienced players mixed with new WvW players, about half of the guild is based on Fort Aspenwood.

Crimson Sunspears [RED] is a small, mature (average age is late 20’s to early 30’s) guild that prioritizes our friendly community over anything else. This means that we care more about the player than we do about the character that you play. We won’t belittle or lecture you for playing the profession that you prefer to play in the way (with the build) that you prefer to play it. At the end of the day, we’d much rather have a group of people online that we consider to be our friends than a group of individuals that will speed us through content without even bothering to care how our day went.

We’re primarily Australian and based on Sea of Sorrows with a playerbase that maintains a range of interests. Our members are interested in running dungeons, fractals, and WvW. We’re also highly anticipating raids and are working together to prepare our characters for the challenges ahead in Heart of Thorns. If you’re into sPvP, it’s worth asking if anyone would be interested in hopping into a match alongside you (though this tends to be the area that our playerbase visits the least).

Sun Tzu Council [STC]
PvE, RP, PvP, WvW, and most of all… a home

Sun Tzu Council is a guild located primarily on the Tarnished Coast server in Guild Wars 2, although members are accepted from any server. We do not have a “rep requirement” and seek to be a home for our members in Tyria. The guild is primarily focused in PvE, including but not limited to open world content, map completion, fractals, dungeons, raids, jumping puzzles, and more. We have secondary interests in WvW, PvP and roleplaying. In Sun Tzu Council you can be as casual as you want while still having a group of people to help you explore the mid- to high-end content as well.

Renegatus [Ren] is an elite PvX guild based on the North American servers, we don’t have a static server. We were formerly a hardcore PvE guild and while we are not focusing primarily on dungeons right now we still run meta builds and expect all new members to follow suit. We’re still the only NA guild to have reached the finals of the DnT speed clear tournament. We held a few records in the past too so we’re quite knowledgeable in the PvE scene, be it dungeons or fractals (soon raids too). That’s not all we do though, with Heart of Thorns breathing down our necks we’ve decided to be a little more open to different aspects of the game, because let’s face it doing the same kitten different day is the fastest way to lose interest in the game. (Though we’re well aware some people are more than happy to rinse and repeat). Currently our aim is to provide a platform in which our members can use to enjoy all that the game has to offer, so you’ll probably see us PvPing quite a bit too.

Our guild has a unique structure whereby each aspect of the game has its own captain that manages their respective field of expertise. Therefore, if you’re wanting to join the guild on the basis of wanting to dungeon (let’s say for example) you will have to meet that side of the guild’s requirements in order to qualify and be assigned to that particular rank. That way people can identify your primary interests and even your ability in that area and band together with you for runs. This does not mean you can’t branch out and do whatever the hell you please, but what it does mean is that if a tour is happening these players will be prioritized and asked first since they have proven themselves worthy. This will apply to PvP, Raids and Fractals too, so members are likelier to group up with people that know what to do and don’t need carrying.

What sort of players do we want in our growing family?

People who:

• Are fine with running the Meta. (All game modes)
• Hit the ground running and can adapt to tactics and are open to learning.
• Who are open to using TeamSpeak and socialize with members so that we can get to know them and vice versa. (We stress that your ability to use voice chat will improve your chances of making this guild your home because that’s where most the fun happens).
• Are friendly and helpful.
• Understand that teamwork is greater than solo play to achieve a common goal.
• Are exceptional players because at the end of the day we want quality not so much quantity to fill up our roster.

We’re a small cosy guild based primarily in Australia. We’ve been around since the early days of GW2 and are looking to recruit a few more core members for the upcoming HoT expansion. The guild name isn’t serious but our shared history together is. We consist of 5 core members, mid-20’s, who met online through chance encounters and unlikely situations. More importantly, we somehow stuck together! We hope you’ll stick with us too and find a place to call home

Expansion Goals
- Raid Once a Week – To balance adult/life obligations, we hope to commit one day per week to raiding. The date and times have yet to be decided.
- Establish a Guild Hall – As nice as the GW2 towns are, we hope to make a place to call our own. We intend to pimp and deck it out as much as possible. We have yet to decide between the Gilded Hollow or Lost Precipice (Be part of the decision-making process!)

Aside from that, we usually do our own thing, naturally grouping if our paths cross. No one is forced or obligated to do anything they don’t want to. We usually SPvP a fair bit with the occasional dungeon/fractal runs. Our attitude towards the game is that you don’t have to be the best, but you should try your best.

As a fresh, newly started guild, our purpose is to recruit 30-50 members and create a personable, fun experience for members to interact with each other and enjoy all the content the game has to offer.

Although our name is well, very American, we welcome members from all over the world. To expand on what was said above, we are looking to establish a community of players who are respectful, diverse, and love to share a good laugh.

A small guild currently focusing on PvE(world events, dungeons, fractals) specially with Heart of Thorns. We casually participate in WvW and currently no PvP or full WvW plans until our numbers grow.

We are a group of working professionals, college students that are predominately interested in wvw. We enjoy fractals, dungeons, pvp when not running wvw and have been around for over 2 years while keeping our player base small and friendly.

Ring of Archangels [ARCH]

Hello there! Ring of Archangels is a medium sized guild (~70ish members) looking for some more active players who will be playing HoT. It’s not a requirement to have Heart of Thorns of course as all are welcome

We are pretty much active all time around so there is no issue of having no one to talk to, plus me and a few other guildies are recruiting like crazy so we will be filling up pretty quick as well.

For the most part, we run all parts of guild wars 2 fairly evenly. A few groups form up for PvP meanwhile PvE groups are being formed as well, for example, so there is always something to do.

We also have no major rules aside from the usual “No needless drama”. Never had to deal with this scenario as the guild is super relaxed and really easy-going. A lot of the active players we do have, have been around since launch and are very experienced and extremely helpful. We like to have fun and will gladly teach any players with whatever they need help with.

Once we have a few more active participants, we will be participating in Raids and will gladly help people who have been away for a bit or who are new to the game to get to the level where they can run this content with us! Along with all this, we have a fully functioning Teamspeak 3 server that we use whenever groups are formed, or whenever people just want to hang out and chat for a bit.

Wrath of the Phoenix [WotP]

Wrath of the Phoenix is a relatively new guild and is welcoming all types of players. Our goal is to create a small community that can do whatever their heart desires within a close knit group of helpful friends. Big guilds are fun and all but this guild offers something that a big guild won’t, the chance to make actual friends to explore Tyria with. We aim to do all types of content from Costume Brawls to Raids! We accept people from every home world as of now so we cant do WvW BUT it is one of our goals in the future. I should also mention that we play on NA servers. As the guild is quite fresh we are desperately looking for recruiters.
