But I’ll have to leave again in a few minutes, to go to a counselling thingy with my husband and our 12-year-old to try and keep those two from fighting day in, day out . Wish me luck, I’m really getting tired of him and the girls screaming at each other all the time …

As for Lupi, I’ve been in Arah exactly once on thief, so no idea . I wish I had the time and energy to devote to learning how to solo that one on just one of my classes … but at least this game is still fun to play even if you can’t solo anything .

Yea, I agree the game is just as enjoyable without soloing, I just want some extra challenge and the skill to carry my parties as nowadays I also like pugging with newbies.

Being able to solo Lupi on thief makes for relatively easy PUG carries of all paths.

With Thief you can Stealth your team to make each skip easy. Then you can solo most bosses with relative ease. Just a great profession to have if you have inexperienced players. So once you can master the Lupi solo it’s the easiest profession to take people through with is all I’m saying

Exactly my thoughts, mate Soloing as guard or warr is rather easy but it’s hard to carry your party throught the skips. As thief, this becomes a piece of cake.

Lupi on thief is so much fun. I can’t solo, but I do ok, I think. Here’s my basic approach:

Phase 1: Not much different from anything else. Dodge kicks, d/d (or s/p if many locusts), dodge grub, blah blah

Phase 1->2 transition: Dive under his feet and pop dagger storm. Better to take the grub and handle it properly than let a PUG take it.

Phase 2: double-dodge + Withdrawl for the scattered AoEs. Dodge swipe. d/d.

Phase 3: Dodge + withdrawl for the big lifesteal, double dodge for single target. d/d.

Misc:
- Steal/heartseeker to close gaps in phases 2/3.
- Signet of Agility + 3 points in Acrobatics (take vigorous recovery) makes it a lot easier to keep your endurance up. Signet of Agility is an awesome “Oh kitten!” button for the phase 2 AoEs.
- Shadowstep for stunbreak/domes

I’ve been trying to solo Lupi on thief lately, the huge amount of dodges and evades that I have is great but I’m having troubles properly escape of the AoE life-leech in phase 3. I assume that’s because I’m lacking some swiftness and my dodges can’t get me out of the ring on time.

I have a goal to min/max my stuff for fractals and Ive just got my monthly login reward yesterday so my vision crystal went towards my next rifle so Im one rifle closer!!

I hopped in a party for p3 yesterday, party wiped at Lupi halfway through p2. Eventually I managed to push him back into the wall and solo’d him, hurrah \o/ It felt like an eternity, though, either I was too nervous or warriors just do it faster.

Infused rings + back, 3 +10’s with the +5 w/stat infusions (total of +15) then variety of weapons = 70AR you can pass around with ease without needing any gear

Jerus, it’s what I’m currently doing but I have +5 infusions instead of +10 (hurrah for being cheap lmao). I can easily go into 30ish fractals with just swapping trinkets around my characters. I should really stop being a lazybutt, currently I can only take my ele to 50s because of her ascended gear LOL

Once upon a time there was a LFG for Arah p4, experienced players only. Once upon a time I joined that party. Once upon a time the party consisted of just me and another warrior that knew what was going on and 3 people who barely had any idea.

Good thing is that the guys actually listened and we managed to complete it after all ._.

+15’s would be so nice, but… yeah…

So yeah 60 in my trinkets is all I got going atm. Need to make my ELe some Ascended weapons at some point so I can fractal50 on her.

I was wondering what rune I can use for urban battlegrounds? Course one of the runs will be force, and being an engi I dont like the vul one that is suggested. Is there anything else?

A single +15 costs 600g. Not sure how much a full set of ascended armour costs total.

From 360g (medium) to 470g (light) and heavy is in between according to gw2spidy prices.

Well then it seems the costs are about equal. But you get the extra damage and defense from the armor set obviously.

Strength is nice if you’re not maintaining might consistently, It’ll add ~6 extra stacks IIRC. Accuracy not bad if you have room in the crit category (if you’re using zerk armor, or lets you swap to it cause I know you have it ). That’s my best thoughts on it.
