Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Tonight we’re gonna have a lesson in how to use Feedback properly as a mesmer. Here with me is sir deSade, well known among the Elitist (scrub) society in Guild Wars 2. Today, this good sir was kind enough to explain us, and show us in practice, how Feedback works. After some training out in the open he figured out that it’d be best to take us to a place where we can see Feedback in its glory.

We arrived in Arah and after some running we were finally on our destination. Needless to say that one could feel the pressure in the air, it was a tense moment for all of us. We all focused, casting time was already halfway through and then ta-da! The divine Feedback was there, bathing us in its beautiful shine, it was just .. so beautiful.

Is there a way to drastically lower the amount of spell effects that are displayed? Having a hard time reading tells when the boss is covered in guardian’s burning or other such thing and my mouse isn’t directly over it.

That was hilarious. 12 iWardens malfunctioning is a whole new level.

Joined a pug yesterday on my ranger for arah specifying “p2 experienced zerker only, no noobs”. They asked me to come mesmer, I ping Whirling Defense and try to tell them that ranger’s reflect is almost as good as mesmer’s reflect —> got kicked

5min later, I joined a “p2 lupi melee” run, and it was just flawless. We even finished the path before that pug group that kicked me

They had a chance to be carried by a ranger but didn’t take it, too bad for them

Other than the “Effect LOD” tick under Options → Graphics, I don’t think so

How has this not been fixed yet? It’s like mesmer’s one job…

10g says they fix untraited wardens before they fix broken/useless wardens.

Sadly not. It bothers me too, especially when you have what feels like 5 different types of burning on a boss + a dozen other effects. Imo they should allow you to turn off effects you can see in the status bar of the enemy, that would help at least a bit.

Sadly not. It bothers me too, especially when you have what feels like 5 different types of burning on a boss + a dozen other effects. Imo they should allow you to turn off effects you can see in the status bar of the enemy, that would help at least a bit.

Or completely remove guardians burning effect would be a good start to reduce the effect clutter. Same with explosions and flame effects. A single engi managed to drop my FPS in Arah to 10 while randomly throwing his stuff at the mobs and i have stable 60 FPS in dungeons. Even more without limiting it.

I don’t know. They’ve always been pretty nasty though.

Any explosion needs to be toned down, period. I’ve had my PC stutter a lot when I’m using my engie due to those darn explosions.

When clearing your way to Leurent and Knight spawns away from the long hallway it’s not that convenient to dodge him with the density of blossoms and the little space between Leurent and Knight agro zone edges. So I tried to do it through CC burst.

Nuh-uh. He either continued the animation to the end or dropped down but still finished the skill. Wow. Rude.

But kitten , these guys are hardcore. Weakness, blind, cripple, knockdown and damage of a truck collision. I once soloed the Wardens duo without pulling them apart. Holy double kittens from hell, that was intense. Had to go all out on the dodges and endurance regen though.

Im seriously worried. New stat combo confirmed. Toughness/Healing power/Vitality.

Hey… now we can actually do zero damage when bosses aren’t invuln! Because damaging bosses is LITERALLY an exploit!

Sometimes, I do wonder for my sanity. PVT at least has some modicum of stat directed to speeding up an encounter. Only thing I can think of using -that- combination is if I’m trying to get from point A to point B constantly being pelted and can’t do jack kitten about it on a class that has <2 evades/invulns. Necromancers, perhaps?

This one time, for the first time ever, I landed a fiery rush lightning flash on bloomhunger while he had that spirit up. I died. Badly.

Well I actually find these story instances interesting. Some mobs hit like a train, the jumping mechanics are there but not too overbearing and there’s cool little mechanics like the gusts of wind pushing you around, boon stealing mobs (assassins with 15 might stacks off me gg) and kasmeer’s phantasmal defender is clearly pushing the zerkburger meta by letting us stay alive.

Go for the dive achievement. You will literally pull your hair out.

I dont mind jumping in maps. But when its soo much and its the only method of getting around its annoying as hell. Plus i dont like the crystals, they were fun in cliffs but not here. You cant press weapon swap to drop them which is how you drop bundles. Its really awkward and annoying especially when you need them to get to the guy you are fighting (hi aerin).

I did the dive. Lost the goggles midjump, died at the edge of the water, got the achievement. gg. Aetherblade jump is still worse though because of the rock.

I always thought people who perform like crap in a run or leech/get carried have a better chance to get good drops. This proves it.

That’s why they’re bringing in TVH gear! To increase the amount of leechers/increase the amount of pre drops, thus lowering pre prices.

I just feel bad for deSade given how we got deepfried by Mai so often.
