Hitting people with swords doesn’t speak of a pacifist, does it? Then again, my weapon of choice is a very thick and heavy book. Ask anyone that got smacked in the mouth with it. Never underestimate nerdy bookworms.

Speaking of which, when in doubt, blame the ranger.
I was in asc p2 (I’m a ranger, pet stowed), at the endboss, waitin’ for detha to die – miles away from the boss – making my ghostbuster equipment ready, when someone pulled the staypuff graveling man towards the group, the one who pulled died.

A second later, i looked at the chatlog:

“WTF, Ranger!??”
“LOL Ranger…”
“GJ, Ranger…”

One of these was written by the guy, who actually pulled the howling ecto dude.
Note: I was the only ranger. Wasn’t a premade. Yes, they were mad towards me for that and not making fun of the ranger class for being the ranger class.

I was genuinely speechless that moment.

Successfully pulled every spark in it’s place, with my pet out, without a problem and get stuff like “Please, ranger, don’t do anything, your pet gets aggro and you can’t pull the sparks”, he said.
Meanwhile, Simin spawned…

Oh and “please don’t attack simin, your DPS is too low, throw tears instead”, said the guardian, as he continued to mash 1 with his staff.

So yesterday I decided to pug hotw1 and was met with a warrior (rifle/GS) who kept screaming for people to stack as he pulled the wolves without baiting out the leaps or anything fancy. Obviously he went down faster than a sack of rocks in a river and blamed everyone else for not stacking. This was a pug group so there wasn’t really blinds or aegis and it’s not like the warrior used mace 5 sooo.

He also died while ranging the troll which was kinda awkward.

So i’ve just reinstalled GW2 after months.
One of the reasons, i’ve quit, where the playerbase.

The first thing, i did was an ASC full run, just finished it.

-Friendly
-No boss lasted longer than 10 seconds
-No leaver
-Forgot to rez grast at p3 boss, didn’t noticed until boss had been zerked down.

Group composition:
Ele, Ele, Guard, War, Ranger.
I think one or two weren’t even full zerk.

Is this…? Can this be…? The faith in GW2’s dungeon playerbase…?
Yes, it has been restored.

That was indeed an amazing pug!!!!

I was the ranger and could not believe my luck. I think all 3 paths took us closer to 30 min but I wasn’t timing it.

Never seen those bosses melt so fast

I guess, we’re speaking of 2 different PUGs here, because i’m also a ranger.

Just PUGged again, no luck, but it wasn’t any players fault…a NPC bugged.
I was inactive for a while… thought they’d fix these kind of things by now.

Me: Are you packing WoR, SoA etc.?
PUG: “Just range him”
Me: “During shield phase?!”
PUG: “Just go range.”

kicked after 2 wipes. Bring on a ranger and a necro. First time pass

Going into a lava shaman lvl 22 with 2 eles. (I’ll need a bullet point list for this)
1. No might stacks at the start
2. No icebows during shield phase
3. Attacks elementals instead of shaman, while he has his shield up
4. Don’t wait for the other three of us to drop his defiance stacks so we can Ice bow 5 the shaman
5. One has 11k AP, the other has 15k AP.

Result wipe 4 times.

Kick both, bring a guildie and an engie with 4k AP. Vape the shaman in 1 run.

If you have him selected as a target then each successive skill used will remove a stack off of his shield.

This is why I, for example, will aim my ice storms/meteor showers in the areas with the biggest concentration of elementals.

I will just assume the team you had was really bad either way and probably didn’t have shaman selected. Pugs blow.

This would have been fine and it’s what I do. I was with 2 guildies both of whom are fractal veterans and I usually main a warr, so slashing around like a mad charr is easy….
