I’m hoping they are getting to it, maybe doing it one server at a time or something. I really don’t want to have to chase this up. It’s great they are doing it though.

Did the event on Vizunah Square, but changed for Arborstone last sunday. Now I can say that it doesn’t count for the mail. ^^

i did it with all 8 of my toons and got the mail did it will all 8 useing overflow servers only did the event 3 times though idk why it let me im not going to argue and got no exotics over 3 gold so don’t think i got rich

Got a never ending loading screen at the part where you push the ancient karka back near that waypoint. Log in server issues meant i could not log back in.

Worse, here’s an answer a redditor got from ANet :

“Hi there;

At this time, we have finished delivering the rewards for the Lost Shores event to all accounts that qualified. This was done through a coding script for any account found to have qualified for the chest. If you have not received a chest then you most likely did not meet the requirements to have these items added to your account.

Now that said there does also appear to be some issues with the mail system. It seems mail boxes are getting stuck and not receiving new mails even when they are not full. So I would suggest clearing out everything in that mail box; after making sure to grab any items or money in there. That should allow more room for those pending mails to arrive. We have heard some cases where only deleting a few mails still didn’t allow the pending mails to arrive properly (for example some players may even show 1 out of 10 mails but still won’t get new ones). So I would again suggest making sure everything has been deleted in there, just to make sure there is nothing at all preventing the mails from being received.

As this was done through an automated process we have no way to manually award this chest. So if after you empty your mail the chest still doesn’t arrive, then your account was not found to have qualified for a restoration and I’m afraid you will not receive the chest.

Basically, it means we are screwed and all those who haven’t got till now will most likely not get a chest. This is so stupid i can’t even find words for it…

We are looking into this matter. We initially believed that anyone who earned a chest surely would receive one, and that is why the email refers to clearing the mailbox. We believed yesterday that the list was complete and all earned chests were distributed. However, we have noted continued questions about the matter and we are not discounting that there may be an issue. The team will get to the bottom of it and I’ll update you when we know more.

Just adding to the statistics since I did loot the chest:

Attended/Looted/No Mail.

Did nearly the entirety of the event, only missed the first few and the last few minutes (fell through the floor on lava and died, had to run back and by then Ancient Karka was already dead, did get to the chest on time).

Maguuma, did it in an overflow server. Deleted all mail for two characters just in case, but no mail.

I remember I join the event half way play a bit and i join up to another
overflow with my friend where i got looted. Forgot if I switch classes
maybe I did that too.

I didn’t attend the last karka event but I got the mail with the chest.

Sorry, I meant to say that I did not attend the Ancient Karka event. I still got a mail with a chest though. I did partake in the first part of the three day event though, maybe that’s why I got it?

I was on during the weekend and went to the lost cost once, but never went to the final event and logged off (F12 → Logoff) before it was over.

It’s too soon to do this. It may take a few days before they’re able to get the script to process for every server. You’ll have people saying no and then posting later to say yes. This kind of polling is fundamentally wonky anyway, so it’ll be double wonky!

Can’t find the thread back (probably merged) but a guy, after complaining at support, has shown the answer saying that everyone that had the glitch received it, and that the script is over.

EDIT: Just check the merging thread. Everyone who complains receives it.

…and give a chest to whomever did not got one with your script today. Lets move forward and forget the last event. Your client base has reason, do not waste more time and resources checking who got what…just do it, send a chest by mail and stop this bad blood.

i wouldnt like anet to waste ressources trying to “investigate”.

im quite certain that people that already have one wouldnt “complain” that they had to “work” to get that loot.

Just put a chest in LA with the reward inside…

You failed twice. If you can’t give it to the right people who have participated (I did) then give it to everyone. Just use your logs and don’t let people who have already opened a chest open it.
