Wasn’t as fun as I thought since I spent 3 hours on a few overflows and when one finally nearly reached the end it crashed, so I spent another few hours looking for an overflow to complete it.

Attended, did not loot – now received mail after sending support ticket (as of 06:30 GMT on December 8th)

Actually had very prompt and polite service once I submitted ticket – they said they are looking to cases where players were at the event but have not received the email with the chest. I did offer to send video of the event but they did not need to see it in the end. Happy customer now

1st run got chest w/ some exo gears
2nd run final phase then server rebooted. No mail yet

Is it intended that people who looted the chest at the event, even several times, still receive a mail? Because a lot of people seem to. If so, I will hand in a support ticket.

Is it just NA currently the script is being run for? Perhaps EU has not been reached yet.

Someone in my guild ran the event and looted the chest and maybe 10 minutes ago got yet another chest in the mail. So I guess people that didn’t loose connection are getting a second reward now?

I am from EU Gandara and several of my guildies got it too. Try clearing your mail as was advised yesterday….

This is my story and just wondering if I would eligible for the chest although I technically don’t fulfill the requirement.

On the final day, I was all ready to go and had my PC booted up to attend the event which had started like 10 minutes ago. Before starting up the GW2 client, I saw my friend online on MSN. So I asked him about it since I assumed he was attending in the event.
He told me (more or less accurate): “Event is unplayable atm as it’s lagging like hell”.
After a small conversation, I changed my mind to attending it as it didn’t sound like fun from his experience, so I went to check a movie instead.

Just to find out the next day the reward the event gave, which was pretty massive, not to mention you actually had a chance to receive a precursor. So the thing is, if I knew there would’ve been such a massive reward for it (I assumed there wouldn’t, based on the Halloween events which I attended and they were merely an animation sequence). Then I wouldn’t have minded torturing myself through the massive lag and so on as the reward would’ve justified it by far.

Thank you for listening and I wouldn’t want to bother Customer Support unless you think it’s a justified reason.

Guys, I asked support to look more deeply into my case because I was disconnected and did not receive my rewards even yesterday evening. I received the general answer saying distribution was over, etc. etc…

I logged-in this morning, one mail: KARKAAAAAAAAA BOX!!!

Me personally i say no, the event was a 3 hour grindfest ( it was very fun ) although laggy, you decided to watch a film and do no work at all. So i dont think you deserve the awesome rewards. Just my opinion.

Thank you for the reply and opinion. But based on the posts I’ve been reading. Some didn’t even attend in it for longer than 1 minute due to being disconnected / leaving due to the unplayable state and they still got their rewards.

Hi guys. Here is my situation: the event started at 9 pm. I was trying to log in from around 8:30 to 11 pm and gave up. So i couldn’t even get in to start the event…. Do i get anything for this? Is there a way to see that i failed to log in like a hundred times?
I hope there is.

no precursor/nothing my alts could use (again I know it’s supposed to appear that it’s random but what are the chances of not recieving something that all three adventurer classes can equip?)

Did not attend/no loot, but that’s what happens when you work. Guess we all can’t live of the government.

Honestly dont care if i get another or not bc i enjoy what i got from what i put in. (no precursors) Beginning to end ancient karka death cutscene was worth seeing twice!
