I resurrect people for the xp/daily achievement progress, not because I’m trying to be helpful.

Also, I don’t have anything other than human…females. I’m a male, I just think that the female animations are the best, especially when running. The armor looks the least terrible on them as well. I’ve tried others, but female humans are the best. I’m not a weirdo, I promise!

If the charr weren’t hunched over and looked like this, I would likely be doing the same with them.

Cool thread! Here are my own confessions…

-Even after over a year of playing I’ve only leveled two characters to 80, an asura engineer and a norn thief

-Even though I know it’s not true, I think I’m kitten as my engineer

-I cannot stop making asura alts. I think it’s because I’m really tall in reality

-No matter how much I try on my thief I cannot utilize its core functionality well, and always end up playing it like a straight up swashbuckler

-When I try to create a new look for my engineer or thief, I somehow always end up using the subterfuge hood skin for some reason, even though I want something else

-I want a legendary so bad it hurts, but I can’t be kittened to go after the crafting materials or farm the gold (lazy much?)

-Even though I know it’s not the meta, I run a knight’s build on my thief and a rabid build on my engi in both PvE and WvWvW. I personally enjoy those builds.

-When roaming doing map completion on my engineer, I love to look for hidden climbable objects to get outside the map’s boundaries.

-In the areas I have found to get outside of the boundaries, I love it when I confuse people in the normal map area when I type in /say

-When people ask me for advice I always oblige, even when they start getting into ‘noob’ territory

-No matter how hard I try I can’t help but hoard my items

-When I fight world bosses I actually use my full skill set on my engineer. On my thief, though, I spam shortbow 1 or p/p dual wield 3

-I’m secretly in love with Eir Stegalkin and Zojja

-I cry every time I see the image of Eir holding a dead Snaff ([img]http://40.media.tumblr.com/2ad710983b921b73bd7cd43052c7103a/tumblr_n6p28kj1JD1s6c8gro1_500.jpg[/img]

-I really freaking hate mapping out the Black Citadel and The Grove

And finally:

-Every time I run my engineer I always get the urge to use Glue Shot on downed players or monsters, and when I do do it, I always /laugh followed by a /dance

I loved it to whip the crap out of the Charr prisoners, everytime I heard the crack sound the Ascalonian in me laughed.

Im secretly supporting the Seperatists of Ebonhawk.

This.

- I played GW1 since it came out, and this since it came out. I’m an Ascalonian through and through.
- Every time I see a Charr NPC or PC, my first instinct is to kill them.
- I had to remap the key I used to use in GW1 for auto-attack so I wouldn’t automatically click it every time I had a Charr in my sights… enemy or not.
- I PvP just to kill Charr
- I want the Separatists to become a playable faction
- I level up alts by hunting Flame Legion, nearly exclusively, and mapping
- Sometimes I log into GW1 just to kill Charr

I may have issues with the Charr.

Oh
- I think Asura are the cutest little gremlins ever

That image of Eir holding Snaff is indeed sad,I just recently saw it and got a bit sad before going to sleep.

But then I remembered the joke someone said on /map chat and started laughing.

“Q:How do you survive against an Elder Dragon?”

“A: Run faster than Snaff”

It is so bad it is funny lmao HAHAAHAAH I’m laughing again!

@On topic

- Sometimes I use things that I bought from the Gem Store, like the Panda hat, just to show them off, because I’m actually pretty bored from the look of my engineer already, but I can’t change it for something else because I think that if I paid for it,I must use it otherwise it would be a total waste…

- I bought the Hairstyle makeover kit for my new engineer, got the new hairstyle with the new teal color, and then bought the Panda hat…genius. (The hat hides the character’s hair)

- My least favorite kind of armor is medium, but this is also the same kind of armor (skin) that I bought the most from the Gem Store
- This also makes me use them because I feel that it would be a waste if I didn’t used the gem store armor on all my medium armor characters (Thief,Engineer and Ranger)

- I bought the Ceremonial Outfit to use while leveling my newly created characters, but after they are lv80 I prefer to create my own armor combo, and I feel bad because now I have an outfit just standing there on my Hero panel, since I don’t have low level characters anymore I don’t use it on anyone

- I am addicted to exploration. I would give anything to enlarge the maps and add contained exploration and secrets.

- I pass my life has invented donjons for Rp. (see the example below. this map is a hospital’s my character: Clairr Cosmique.)

- I am a collector of fierce armor, up spending a fortune at the store.

- I hate Arena net shamefully who do not clean faster Lion’s Arch or not expand RataSum… Yes, I dream of a Rata Sum hanging gardens, puzzles jumps with ziggurats “home”.

I confess all, I’m mad!! é_è

Every now and then i enter a path sellers lfg and say they should be ashamed of themselves. Then exit the group.

Every time i see a staff ele i force myself not to vote kick it from a dungeon, instead i grind my teeth and watch it how he/she spams fireballs with no attument switch ever and then die max range from all of us. Then i don’t res him/her the whole run because f you start using dodge and stop checking your facebook.

I do the same from above when a necro is in a group. Or a ranger. Because max range-spamming 1 rocks.

I change my armor’s apperance way to often. Sometimes weekly.

After i flushed 200gold in mystic forge and only got a few pearl exotics i quit playing for 2 months.

I like like world completion it relaxes me.

I strongly resent people who ping precursor drops on world boss event. I’m jelous besause in 2 years of playing the most expensive item that dropped to me is a hammer worth 20 gold.

I like running fractals even tho i know i’m going to get a uninfused ring on lvl 50.

Once i vote kicked afk-er on the phone after being afk for 10 min because i wanted to finish asuran fractal because Mentalist was on in 30 min on tv and i wanted to watch it.

everything on this list is me except I dont kick anyone, although I used to hate playing with rangers and necros. Also, add another 0 to that 200 on the forge.

  • I have invested a considerable amount of time into finding ways to break out of maps, resulting in a large number of awesome discoveries and cool screenshots. I consider them extreme jumping puzzles, where the only reward is success and discovery.
  • I find taunting in PvP hilarious, even when it’s directed at me. When a member of my team advised enemy thieves to uninstall their games the other day, I was still laughing when the match ended.
  • In dungeons, back when instance owner was still a thing, I’d always open. If I ended up with a particularly obnoxious or incompetent group, I’d sometimes just leave the party halfway through, destroying the instance.

What’s up with rangers deliberately using LB 4 in response to someone asking people not to knock bosses back, by the way? Goes for any class with knockback, in fact.

I’ve seen people burning through defiance and playing football with champions with such enthusiasm after being asked not to that they were completely oblivious to an enemy zerg charging in and rolling over them. We could have capped if people had only left the boss in the AoE fields and allowed warriors to do their Hundred Blades thing. Petty Wars 2 right there.

And now some serious stuff.

I really miss my first guild. It used to be very lively with many members and the chat was allways filled with people. We used to do everything together, like a nice family. It felt really nice to log on and forget about real world for a few hours. Sadly now most of the people don’t play anymore or they joined other guilds.

I’m an oblivious idiot when it comes to reading people’s feelings, which resulted that one of my dearest friends that i met ingame, after i wanted to stay us as friends (which i know now, is probably the worse thing you can do to a person being a oblivious idiot of a person that i am, i should just stop contacting) it resulted with that persons blocked me. We havent spoken since then. And now i can’t even say i’m sorry for being stupid.

Oh gosh here I go.

  • I’m a stalker. This is my first forum post, although I’ve been playing for ~2 years now. I listen in on people’s /say chat convos, read map chat but never say a word, same goes for guild chat.
  • I resent people who don’t want to learn. I’ve ignored people’s questions so many times because one simple /wiki command would have answered all questions.
  • I HATED the game when my boyfriend bought it for me. Now I play more than he does, and I’m better than him. [such modesty]
  • All my characters (8) have backstories, I couldn’t play if they didn’t. Same goes for their names, they have a meaning. Also they all have first name + surname [except for my first character, which I forgot to name her properly and I’m too cheap to buy a Name Change Contract].
  • Talking about that, I’m related to Scrooge McDuck. I’m a hoarder, and it pains me to spend even 10 silver on something. I have aprox. 500 gold stashed away, safe from my reach and another 500 in my own guildbank.
  • I have 5 precursors. One I dropped, one I received as a birthday gift from my guildies, and the others I forged. Due to my hoarding, I have not sold any of them, nor have I equipped them.
  • I forged Dusk from my 2nd try at the Forge, while leveling weaponsmith. I think Zommoros likes me more than he should.
  • Even if it takes me much more time, I avoid waypointing. If I have to go to LA, I go to the borderland maps, or to Obsidian Sanctum, and then LA. If I go to Karka, I take the Consortium portal. If I go to CoF/AC, I take the portal to Black Citadel and then run for it. If I do The Shatterer, I take the portal to Ebonhawke and then run. I haven’t gone to HotW in ages because I haven’t figured out a shorter way to get there, so I avoid it.
  • I’m genuinely afraid of getting banned, even if I know I haven’t done anything wrong. [remember the jute/linen Iron Marches ban-wave on BB?] Even though I was not on that server, I was exploring that map in that time-frame and I was actually shaking out of fear of getting banned, although I haven’t done anything.
  • When the town clothes were changed to tonics, I was accidentally awarded with an ascended Zojja’s heavy helm. First thing I did was to report this, send a mail to support, because I have not earned that item, and I feared that I might be banned for it. Support was nice enough to tell me I can keep the item. I still haven’t equipped, it’s on one of my characters.
  • I have a 15 digit password, using capital letter, numbers and all you can think about. I have an authentificator, a 3rd party authentificator for my email and SMS confirmation for my email as well. I might be paranoid a bit.
  • My best friends are the /bug and /report command, I report any bugs/events that in my POV do not work/are not completed as they were intended, and I attach the screenshots as well. Serves you well for trying to break or bend the rules.
  • I’m the nicest person you’ll ever meet, until you kitten me off, that is, and you release the troll I’m trying to repress deep inside. When you do that, may the Six Gods watch over you and protect you from my keyboard-smashing abilities.
  • My main character is a ranger, and I hate rangers, if I see you playing a longbow while we stack, I will loathe you forever, although I won’t say anything. Same goes for pets, there are so many types of pets for a reason hint-hint.
  • I LOVE fractals, I usually do 5 of them / day, one for each rank of difficulty. I LOATHE dungeons, but I will do them if someone asks me to fill in a spot if needed.

  • I miss farm events so badly, like the ones from the first LS.
  • I have never, nor do I consider purchasing gems with real money. I always wait for a sale to get what I NEED (some might read that as want – character slots, bank expansions, bag slots) from the gem-shop. I once stood up until like 5-6 AM just to catch the gems at a lower exchange rate because I cheaped out. I ended up saving 5 gold and I was happy as a puppy.
  • I will NEVER EVER EEEVER revive you at Tequatl, or Mark I Golem event, or at any event that you can shimmy to the closest waypoint. That’s the only time when I actually use the waypoints as well.
  • I have a commander tag but will never tag up in EotM, WvW, Triple Trouble or whatever event people are tagging up these days. I only tagged up once for Tequatl and it was a fail due to all the people running to protect the Megalaser and not enough at the other batteries, and a second time at the Marionette event, which failed due to obvious reasons [people not listening to map chat, commander indications and running around all willy-nilly as they pleased]. I got so much flaming whispers and they all blamed the commander that I decided it’s not worth the trouble enduring such words for no reason.
  • I will never play a thief.
  • My necromancer is an asura, I spent >40 minutes playing with the gliders so she would look sweet as a peach, she is pink, she has a Princess Wand scepter and she is a minion-master. Deal with it.
  • Whenever I happen to run into RP guilds doing their thing while I’m mapping, I activate the walk-mode and try to be as discreet as possible, to not break immersion. They do their thing, I do mine, we’re all happy.
  • I used to run Tutorial Fractal runs, levels 1 or 2, to teach people who have no idea how to run them, free of charge logically. I stopped after one of the players told me to stop explaining, because he can “wing it”. Some people actually do not want to learn, and I made my peace with that. Ignorance is bliss.
  • I hate metas. I play how I feel I can survive better, or how I feel it fits my mood right then. I’ll play zerker or I’ll play condi, I’ll use staff on my ele or use axe/axe on my ranger, but nobody has the right to kick me out of a party just because I haven’t equipped the weapon/armor of his/her choice. You can always ask me nicely to switch to something different, depending on the circumstances, in case I haven’t done it already. Speaking of that, I never vote to support a kick.

That’s about it, of the top of my head. I guess it was cathartic.

Ahaha this is me except for the trying part. I dress him up like a swashbuckler too. ^__^ Pistol whip is the only skill you need! (Okay I use the blind too. Sometimes.)

I don’t like to ping my gear for dungeons because I follow the meta except for runes. If I could cheaply and easily recover a rune set it would be different, but as it is now the idea of overwriting 70g of runes next time the meta changes sticks in my craw.

I can’t believe so many people are arguing against fire camping for staff elementalists. You’d think that with so many guides, the speed running videos, the world records etc. people would have learned that the 2nd Ele will mostly play staff and camp fire unless they need a blast (earth) or swiftness (air) or a quick condi clear (water) so people can get ooc quicker. Apart from that, stay fire. I know this post is completely pointless and it’s been said a dozen times but … I have an urge to comment on things like that.

Every now and then i enter a path sellers lfg and say they should be ashamed of themselves. Then exit the group.

It is a legit way to play, I know MANY ppl that cant play all the time and only get 20-30min a week to play, they cant do 30min+ dungeon paths so they buy them, nothing wrong with that, its like Paying a person to mow your lawn, your neighbors might be jealous but they dont Cry to you about it, thats just disrespectful

Lava Font + auto + Show in stacks does an Insane amount of damage it is one of the higher ele dps damagin rotations, If your stacking on trash mobs, and going from trash mob to trash mob, 1 Lava font and 2-3 autos is normally enough, I see no reason to swap if you DONT NEED TO, if your stacking Might, start in Earth the go to fire is normal, the team should help the ele stack mgith anyways. If your not helping the ele I want to kick you

I do the same from above when a necro is in a group. Or a ranger. Because max range-spamming 1 rocks.

Max range ranger yes I agree but not Rangers in general, players not supporting others I dont like (Being out of range of support is what I mean, being at 1200 range you dont get might/aegis/protection etc..)

I change my armor’s apperance way to often. Sometimes weekly.

You and many others… I do to, Ive used over 500 Trans stone sense april 14th patch

After i flushed 200gold in mystic forge and only got a few pearl exotics i quit playing for 2 months.

Its a gamble, thats good you stop gambling, but you can blame the game for your problems, that like going to a Casino losing 200$ and telling them its their fault.

I like like world completion it relaxes me.

I strongly resent people who ping precursor drops on world boss event. I’m jelous besause in 2 years of playing the most expensive item that dropped to me is a hammer worth 20 gold.

I didnt get apre to drop until 5127hrs game play, ive done 1000’s of dungeon paths, r80 in pvp (After the new update) done well over 700 fotms, its rare to “GET FOR FREE” a high end item, they wouldnt be high end if they was given out"

I like running fractals even tho i know i’m going to get a uninfused ring on lvl 50.

I agree with this, I do them daily no matter what.

Once i vote kicked afk-er on the phone after being afk for 10 min because i wanted to finish asuran fractal because Mentalist was on in 30 min on tv and i wanted to watch it.

10min is way to long IMO to make anyone wait for a game (other than friends) its completely disrespectful, I would have done the same.

I may have actively hated my first necro.
Her name falls on the “tries too kitten hard” of the spectrum, nor is it lore appropriate. I put her in the Wintersday outfit and have actively made my friends cringe with her color palette, the brightest, most gaudy colors I could get. She looked like a madcap Easter egg disaster.
Since hitting 80, I’ve taken her a wee bit more seriously.

- I often times go afk when in a dungeon or fractal, because i know they’ll just kick me, and leaving and having them whispering me why is too much of a pain.
- I play gw more than i probably should, and play instead of doing schoolwork for college because i want to escape
- I honestly and totally HATE 90% of active commanders because they 99% of the time feel theyre superior to me, even though ive been playing since the beta and know quite a lot about the game. Maybe even more so than them.
- i feel as though commanding nowadays is a name game, and not about having an actual commander to follow.
- ive been in just about every major/minor guild on NSP, and left each one for usually no reason.

- I feel sad because I have very low hopes of ANet ever releasing largos as a playable race
- I love largos because they’re from the depths of the oceans and underwater environment is GORGEOUS, and their accent (“I greet you, ally of my ally” – Sayeh Al’Rahjid).
- I think tengu are overrated
- I think they would release skritt as a playable race, but kodan never!

- I still use orbs, not runes, unless they are vital for survival (wvw). Mainly because runes are expensive.

- On the other hand, I spare no expense in outfitting my characters in expensive skins/legendaries.

- When nearing completion of legendary/other expensive skins, I feel like selling my mother just to complete it on instant.

- I know I could do just fine in full zerker, but I still have pieces of equipment like knight/valkyrie from time I was still learning.

- I have 1 slot for rolling a character that I just level up to 80 to get black lion keys and other map/story rewards.

- Of my 8 characters, I only play 5. All characters I don’t play are male. Those that I do play are female, except for asura warrior.

- I love hunting achievements. Unless they are dailies that force me to PvP or WvW, or require too much grind (WvW, weapon master).

- I use weapons that are not meta in dungeons (ranger with legendary torch).

- I have over 1000 hrs more in gw2 than gw1 (played it since -05). Now I feel sad for not playing more gw1 and cannot bother to get gwamm or 50 HoM points anymore.

- To all the hoarders: I usually sell my materials 2-3 times a week. (Except for ectos and t6).

I’ve spent hundreds of gold crafting items just because I like the skin (Wings of Dwayna, for example)… but I won’t pay over 4g for a rune or sigil because I fell it’s too expensive..

It’s a pile of Elonian protection magic, mixed with a little monk training,
wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.

Another one:

- Sometimes I get compliments from people in LA (like “Glorious shoulders looks great, nice character!” or “Nice choice of dyes/armor” “Where did you get that shoulder? it looks great on your character” etc and I just pretend I’m afk because I get embarrassed when I get compliments.

Sorry people! Your opinion is really important for me (and makes me smile) but I’m just too shy to answer/I don’t know how to answer a compliment
Also I’m afraid the conversation gets extended and forces me to pay attention to the game,if I’m standing in LA it is because I’m either checking my storage or inventory,or I’m reading the forums/browsing the web on my second monitor,so,I kinda pay attention to the game still and I know when people PM me,but I just pretend I’m afk for the reason I just said :P

I have a confession. One boring evening, I annihilated ogres, grawl, and krait, looking for the specific components to unlock the weapons achievements.

I felt bad killing all the ogres and grawl…ogres just want to be left alone in their own land, and some tribes are even peaceful. Grawl are just superstitious creatures that don’t know any better.

But the krait…I enjoyed having my sweet revenge on those creeps.

-sob- so many died! Their screams…their cries…I cringed each time. Even after a few minutes of killing the krait I started feeling a little bad. All just for achievements…

- I have 10 character slots, at one point half of my characters were necros – one of every race. I deleted several of them to make way for different classes. Occasionally I get tempted to buy a few more character slots and make more necros.

- If anyone ever asks, I say that RPing is silly and weird. Yet all my characters have meaningful / proper names – my Asuras have single word names, my Charr charactrs names all reflect their common warband. Most of my characters have backstories about them.

- I dislike pvp but have will usually engage in a 1 v1 wvw roam fight if the opportunity arises.

- My first GW game was Factions, then Nightfall so I have little sympathy for anyone who likes Ascalonians.

- I feel that people who play mostly human or norn characters are boring.

- I often say that I’m poor even though I have a Juggernaut, two full sets of ascended armor and several ascended backpieces.

- One night I was mapping wvw on my level 60 necro and was attacked by a level 80 condi engi. I won the fight; this was the only time I ever danced on someone’s body.

Oh my… Can’t believe I’m doing this.

- I’m in this game for 1,5 year now and all I have is a male human mesmer. I deleted everyone else.
- I leveled a mesmer to 80 at least 6 times and deleted it, because I wanted something different. Another mesmer.
- I’m in love with mesmers. Can’t play anything else for longer than 1 hour.
- I have venetian masks all over my room and I love to wear them pretending I’m a mesmer.
- In pvp, I flirt with every thief in the enemy team and ask them to be gentle with me. Then I catch them off guard and down with one shatter.
- Countess Anise is my hero, thus I flirt left and right with everyone I meet.
- I call my team mates in pvp “little bubbles”.
- If I’d ever find myself in The Grove, I would kiss every male sylvari I see.
- Whenever someone insults me in pvp, I hunt them down for the rest of the match, even though it’s not good for my team, but I must admit, vengeance makes me play better.
- I really enjoy killing human females in pvp, because straight male insecurity is annoying.
- I used to create a character, use a make-over kit on it and then delete it.

- I think sylvari are the master race and I hope the rest of LS2 is very sylvari-centric.
- I think most of the legendaries are ugly.
- I have the hots for female norns.
- I think people that run full bunker specs (particularly in WvW) are bad and probably get carried by their build.
- I am very loyal to my server and I will actively hate on people from other servers, given the chance. Even if it’s in jest. Team spirit thing, I guess.
- I’ve never done a single Arah explorable path and I feel like less of a player because of it.
- I started practicing archery IRL because I’ve been playing rangers in GW ever since Prophecies.
- I judge people harshly on how they dress and dye their characters.

- I hate the female human face that Weaboos use with the cutesy eyes, the permanent pout and the blush on the cheeks. The one that looks like a teen newly turned 18. I despise it, and the fact that it is so popular makes me despise it more. I actively target and kill them over any other targets in SPvP or WvW.

- Female Asuran voices annoy me. Apart from the Master Tailor In Lions Arch, she is contagiously soothing.

- I regularly visit Helf Stonebrow in Divinity’s Reach to vendor my inventory, because I like how he slashes bargains in a bloody pool of cheap cheap prices.

- I used to despise the Sylvari for 2 years, and thought of them as the lesser, worst mock parody of a British Accent (From the UK myself), until they released the noseless face. I now main a Sylvari Elementalist and haven’t thought my character was this awesome for some time. (It also makes me gleefully happy that others despise and hate the noseless male Sylvari face because it is the only one I would even consider using. We have humans, lets stop making things humanoid and make them as alien as possible.)

- I never play female characters (on any game, including those with no choice female protagonists. There may be literally one or two games I have in the past however, due to it being that good of a game.) and every time I have tried I have only lasted a few minutes.

- I have two Engineers, and I despise them as a class. I believe they are the only truly overpowered class in the game, and most of the community is too afraid to voice it because they touch more keys than some other classes. (Because Piano is more deserving of reward than a Flute, right guys?)

- I openly rave about how I hate helping others, and how only experienced people are allowed in my parties. Sadly, I am always the one who defends the new guy who joins despite the description, and find myself trying to help others when I can because I like to overestimate how ruthless I am.

- I find names that utilize lore, and have thought out surnames and backgrounds to annoy me, but have learned to live with and look past it in these 2 years of play. I much prefer funny names or names that are openly dumb. (I would in a heartbeat party Yoloswag Mcswaggerjackson, over, Purius Trueshot or something.)

- At the same time I have a few characters with surnames and lore based origins, but am far too self-absorbed in how cool I think their back stories are, which to me justify these names. (For example, Shanks Sinatra my first ever character was a thief conceived from my GW1 Assassin name idea, Shanks Sin-atra, because Assassins used daggers and were very often shorthanded as ‘Sin’. Thief works just as well. My warrior De Baros is based off my real life name which means Brave Noble Warrior translated.)

- I couldn’t write a full post on this forum without boasting at least once about something I did.

- I full well believe I am the only person in game who thinks trying to be unique is stupid in a game, and would be more than happy to get all the skins and stats at the start and just play for fun like my own playground even if every single person in the world had my legendary. All I care about is how cool my characters look, and not how others compare.

- All I care about is how cool my characters look, and I meant that literally. I play to style out my characters in swag. I wont enjoy a character that looks bad, no matter what game mode.

- I started GW2 as a bookah Elementalist for 3 months .. then I saw the light and switched to an Asura main. My Asura main takes about 66% of my total GW2 playtime.

- I have an Asura for each profession .. and also a bookah for each profession for the times when I am feeling .. er .. bookah-ish

- I bought 7 character slots last year in anticipation of new races/classes. But then.. then..

- I get disappointed when new armor/outfits does not show the Asura’s ears/toes properly (see Asura cultural armor for comparison). Anet should really hire an Asura fan for the armor/outfit designs.

- My Asuras dream of the day where all bookahs serve the Asuras.

- When playing as an Asura, I have to resist the urge to type “YOU SILLY BOOKAHS!” whenever there is a party wipe/screwup during dungeons/PVP/WvW

- When playing as a bookah in PVP/WvW, I get this urge to punt those annoying half-pint brats across the field. My Norn Guardian Hammer #4 does this job very well.

- However, when forced to fight a cute Asura, I will type the /cry emote.. after I stomped him/her, that is.

Every time i see someone with a unique weapon or legendary i vow to make one. Then… i remember how utterly painful and annoying it is to do so. So…. i don’t.

The only skin i have wanted more than anything else since launch is Infinite Light and i have been saving every single Charge core/lodestone I have ever picked up and i still haven’t broken 100 lodestones yet (0.o)

To fully let out this confession i must admit that in the time, since launch, i have wanted both legendary weapons and Infinite Light i have somehow managed to make the shiny full version of the fractal capacitor, mawdry final version, 2 complete sets of ascended gear, etc…

So i guess my confession is actually that i am a bit rere.

Guardian – Burn for you, heal for me, block for me and uh…sorry Im all out of gifts.

I like all game modes, but I hate making builds for pvp, so only did that for my main. Since I don’t play that char anymore in pvp, I’ll always join pvp with a char I don’t know the build for. (figuring sooner or later my rating will be low enough that it won’t matter)

I only go into wvw when I can charge into zerg vs zerg fights with my thief and the moment it looks like we’re losing, I’ll attempt to disengage and sneak off.

I sometimes do a bl key run (story lvl 10 reward) and I always try to choose a race/story I don’t remember and read the dialogue (probably the least efficient way to do the runs possible).

And through taking my main char through the entire story, both personal and living, I read every bit of dialogue. Same for first time in every dungeon.

  • I recently joined a pug for story mode and then randomly started voting to kick people. To my surprise, all of my votes succeeded until there was just me and one other, at which point I left the party.

Can’t stop laughing. That reminds me of my own personal worst dungeon confession, when some random person found in lfg switched to an alt at the end of cof p1 without asking and I just completely lost the will to live and dropped dead on the spot. This naturally led to a wipe. They came back with their 80, we got the boss down to maybe half, and they logged again, which again caused all the fight to just drain out of me. Their alt came back to another wipe and rather than, you know, stay and do the dungeon properly they rage quit.

I haaaate when people swap to an alt at the end, whether they ask or not. Buy a dungeon if you want to level your alt.

I hate charr, any chance to kill a charr I take. First few times I had the Ascalon part in fractals I refused to attack any npc’s. I just couldn’t support the charr’s attack however fictional it was. (Thanks Mith and Tonic guys for carrying me through it).

I think people who play other genders are creeps (unless it’s a game where you have no choice. Then it’s fine. Or if you get some bonus out of it like in Fire Emblem)

Authors must be the creepiest creeps in the world. Being able to imagine a character who’s not you is the sign of a weirdo!

Let’s see, confessions…

*If I had absolute power I would immediately and without explanation kick anyone from the map who asks “when’s karka” or “is karka dead” and so on.
*My characters are chosen by attempted symmetry; I initially planned a total of 20 characters separated between two each of every race and gender. Any additional future characters will continue this even distribution and I probably will condemn some to nonexistence if it leaves me with an uneven number.
*I’ve never looked at or cared about the meta and base all my builds on concepts that seem interesting. Sometimes the results are bad, and that character is doomed.
*I refuse to change builds outside their concept and have subsequently never had more than one armor set per character. I.e., if I have a minion-master necro, I will only change her stats or traits to better match that build concept. If I need a non-minion build, I will use/make a different necromancer.
*I’ve played this multiplayer game regularly since beta and have never done most of the dungeon paths because I don’t like interacting with people or strangers.
*I went more than a year without joining a single guild. When I finally did, it was a close friend’s own friends-only guild. I’m currently the only active member and have never done any guild missions.
*My number one cause of death in the game is probably accidentally dodge-rolling off of jumping puzzles.
*An unstoppable bot has dominated Crab Toss for a long time now, but I haven’t reported it partly because its skills are so impressive.
