Drop rate of.. just about everything
So what exactly is your guild good for?
the drop system is tailored to almost always give you the armor you don’t want (light/medium when you play heavy etc…)
the drop system is tailored to almost always give you the armor you don’t want (light/medium when you play heavy etc…)
That’s one of the reasons why most games stopped using RNG because no developer has ever perfected the standardized loot calculation equation to include more complex variables like class type, spec, focus stats etc to make the loot drops more tailored to the player. It’s much easier for them to create a currency system and eliminate the RNG system entirely eventually.
You only get class specific items for personal story quest completion iirc. Imo this should also be true for map completion (didn’t get a single piece of light armor or weapons I could use until lately), but not for general drops.
My collection of porous bones is the envy of all the land.
Bow down and worship my porous excellence…. i have a throne made of porous bones and also my plates and forks are made from them.

80 Ranger (3), 80 Warrior (3), 80 Thief (3)
80 Ele (2), 80 Engi (3), 80 Rev (2)
I just ran Orr for about 90 minutes. I got 3 yellows and a number of greens. On top of that, all the yellows gave me ectos, seven all up.
Admittedly I have pretty high magic find, but I’m just not seeing this drop problem. I ran with my wife, who only get one rare in the same time period but she was hardly using any magic find at all.
Basically we did fine for the amount of time we spent. We were mostly node gathering btw, and only did a couple of DEs until we started Plinx.
I got most of my rare drops from normal world mobs and gathering too. I don’t have any MF though. Though this is most likely purely coincidental, I think it would be good to get better loot from these than from DE mobs because it encourages people to explore and kill them everywhere instead of just farming the same DEs over and over again, using those unspeakable tagging approaches for efficiency instead of actually playing the game. I also currently move around remote areas a lot for the bonus XP.

Luck is mathematical. This is how casinos work. A casino can increase/decrease thier revenue by X by changing the odds of winning/losing of thier customers.
Um, no, you clearly don’t understand.
The odds on, say, a roulette wheel are mathematically derived, yes, but they CANNOT be changed by the casino; the mathematics simply reflect the physical reality of the wheel, there is nothing ‘tweakable’ that the casino can alter to affect players’ odds.
They can add more numbers!
i like how your argument makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. but you made me chuckle.
I’m not really sure why you are having trouble understanding how your friend getting rares has nothing to do with anyone else’s experience. This is a thread about drop rates, which people are discussing because their experience is that they are low. You parading pictures (which can be doctored, anyway) does not change anyone else’s experience. Someone that gets 20 rares in a run is not going to make any difference to another person getting zero in a run. It does not “prove” anything about drop rates or anything else.
If you are having trouble understanding points of view different from yours, well, I really don’t know what to say. lol You make me chuckle.
Aren’t you doing exactly the same? You generalize from your limited perspective and try to attest a global problem when there may be none. Or maybe there is. His/her opinion and observations are in no way less relevant though.

I have never “attested to a global problem.” lol Quote where I said this, please.
So, my next question to those who want drop rates increased, are you using MF? MF is essentially a tax on farming, and not using it puts you at the lower end of the distribution.
The people making bank on drops in GW2 are stacking MF as high as they can and must know where to farm, and how to farm. Making money in GW2 is not just a matter of quality of drops, it’s a matter of volume. The drops that are really worth something are Rares/Exotics and T6 Mats, hence the stacking of MF to increase the likelihood of getting one, but all the other crap adds up over time.
This is not to say that chest loot is not pretty underwhelming, or that some people seem to still be experiencing lack of drops from vets and champs (though I am not in that group), or that the drop tables don’t need some work, if only to increase the variety of prefixes and sigils/runes on rare drops.
On the other hand, my bank account is only 12G below W. Kitty’s. I have done exactly 3 dungeon runs since mid-October (no FotM). I have only one character with MF gear (which I almost never use). I have 4 80’s in exotics (absent 1 earring). Oh, and I have not used gems to get gold, nor do I care if anyone believes me.
I salvaged my entire MF set and sold all the runes I got back.
I stopped using MF a long time ago, I still get great drops.
MF is only worth it if you do a lot of open world stuff (mostly in cursed shore)
Oh, I agree … and isn’t that what people claiming to make serious money say they are doing? Let’s face it, there are claims in this thread of ~5G/hour. To make my 172G or your 184G would take about 5-6 hours a day for a week at that rate.
I also get good drops … sometimes.
Posting a chat screenshot with linked rares and exotics doesn’t prove anything. It doesn’t even prove that the user has those items. They could be linked from gw2db using codes (for less work that grinding 2 hours). Or they could be bought on the tp.
And gold in the bank doesn’t prove a thing either.
The truth is, if everyone had this same awesome chance at good loot, this thread wouldn’t exist.
I ran 3 paths of AC one day, then 3 of CoF the next day. 2 Fractals the next 2 days. Waiting for a rare or exotic drop throughout the whole time. Got only an exotic sigil from the dungeons and 1 rare light coat from the fractals. Where were my 22 rares? That was more than 2 hrs of playing the game actively and in a party.
No one here can understand what is so fishy about the loot system. That’s because the truth isn’t being shared with us.
And no one can believe anyone else’s anecdotes because they are radically different. And no one can trust anyone else’s ability to retell a story accurately because humans are terrible at that.
If your main focus is “farming”, achieving wealth through drops, being showered endlessly with meaningful loot then I’d suggest staying away from any game with a cash shop that allows the purchasing of in-game currency. (like GW2) As stated many, MANY times, this is the sole reason for the lack of meaningful loot and worthwhile drops in this game. It is also the reason you’re constantly seeing drops and gold/item acquisition being tuned and in most cases “nerfed.” It won’t change so long as they offer a means of exchanging gems for gold so I wouldn’t hold your breath.
I couldn’t agree more with the OP.
Like i said in the pinned thread, DR is like a leecher that sucks the life and fun out of the game, at least for me.
I want to feel rewarded for my time and effort, not punished.
I don’t want a proverbial “loot heaven” like this is Torchlight 2 or something like that, i just want the drop rate like it was before the ever-famous 15th November patch ( it’s famous for a reason ). Nothing more, nothing less.
First it was the dye drops that got nerfed into the underworld, and then the rest.
We were supposed to be playing this game the way we wanted and feel rewarded for it, but there is a massive difference between open world drops and dungeon drops. I don’t want to be forced to run dungeons ad-nauseum.
If you’re going after the crafting mats, you WANT the creatures to drop salvage items. Salvage the whites as well.
He clearly means the blue crafting mats. IE Sharp Claws, etc.
The simple fact of the matter is, people expect everything now, but there’s no J.G Wentworth in Guildwars 2.
You will not get an exotic drop for everything you do, accept that.
I’ve only gotten 2 rare drops in the past few days and out of those 2, I got 0 ectos (and that’s with a black lion salvage kit) but it’s no big deal.
Here’s 2 reasons you need to stop crying:
1. Gold is SO EASY to make in this game. There’s plenty of dungeons that can be pugged and are enough to keep you interested while making great money. Most dungeons will give you at least ~70 s per path, and that’s not counting the possibility for rares/exotics and cores/lodestones. You can run 2 paths of AC in 40 minutes and make 1.5 gold if you’re unlucky with drops. Oh and I can hear you crying already “waaah, I don’t want to run dungeons” well then no problem! You can farm in cursed shore/other orr areas and get great drops. And forget the rares, ever since the last patch tier 6 mats have had great drop rates in Orr.
The fact of the matter is, as long as you’re playing the game, and I mean REALLY Playing the game, not sitting in LA debating politics with some troll or alt+tabbed to the forums to post in the latest whine thread, you’re making gold and a pretty decent rate.
2. Gold isn’t that necessary in this game. What do you REALLY need in this game? You can get a full set of exotics within a couple weeks of hitting level 80 with relatively little effort. I got mine in about 3 weeks when I hit 80 and back then it was MUCH harder to get geared in exotics. Dungeons gave 20 tokens per path, there were much fewer sources of karma, crafting was pretty much the only way to go.
This isn’t an MMO where you need to spend hours and hours and hours grinding to save up enough orbs to +10 your gear so you’ll be able to be competitive in player versus player. You can easily get a set of exotics and you’re good to go. You don’t need to refine, you don’t need to buy some cash shop item to put sockets in your gear, you are good to go.
And then what’s left? Nothing but armor and weapon skins. And I hate to break it to you, but these are 2 things.
1. They are NON-ESSENTIAL. They don’t have better stats, they just look prettier. So you don’t have to have it so stop acting like you do.
2. Many are meant as LONG-TERM goals. They are meant to be DIFFICULT to obtain. They are not meant to obtained within a matter of days.
Posting a chat screenshot with linked rares and exotics doesn’t prove anything. It doesn’t even prove that the user has those items. They could be linked from gw2db using codes (for less work that grinding 2 hours). Or they could be bought on the tp.

Right, so your anecdote is useless too? You’re lying about your loot to prove the point you want.
That’s what you’ve called everyone: a liar.
The loot drops are random. Just as it is possible for a coin to come up heads hundreds of times in a row, or land on its edge, so it is possible for random loot to be bad many times in a row.
Some people are going to have good luck, and some are going to have bad luck. Simple as that.
That’s what you’ve called everyone: a liar.
Fact: People lie on the internet. They often use screenshots and pictures to do it. It would be naive to believe everything you see on the net. Is anyone in this thread lying or posting misleading pictures? Maybe. Maybe not. We don’t know.
only 5g as a level 80? That’s how much you get from a 10 minute CoF path 1 run.
Right… Did 5 CoF runs in 2 days and got 1 rare and the rest blues and whites and got less than a gold for my effort. Got 50 silver 10 karma bottles for the monthly so it wasn’t all bad.
I saw my drop rate dropped after like November. It does not mean I don’t getting good drops, I do not so bad as since I got full MF gear (used 0 MF before), but only means that by same time I get less drops, coins etc.
Also noticed same issue about dungeons even if I did very few runs overall.
Same time I can noticed drop “waves” like in one day I can get many good drops and that would be all for sometime (varies).
I think we don’t have enough rewards to cover repair / WP costs which still the same after drop rare dropped.
I think initial design was better done but somehow changed to actual rate.
I don’t want anyone to take my post as offence and admit that some people can be disagree with my though.
I’m not mad just find new drop rate somehow insufficient. all id sure only IMO.
I am back to less than 50 percent of anything I kill drops ANYTHING. Most are no drop at all. Anything that does drop is junk.
I do not really see any point in continuing to play the game, to be honest. I will join the hundreds of people I know personally who have quit.
@OP: If you want mats, farm bags not the mats themselves. Whatever you get in the bags that you dont need you can sell and buy the things you need. Or better yet, farm high end bags and buy what you need from the lowbie mats. Bags drop alot and with the high end ones you get T6 mats at a quite steady rate which brings in nice gold.
@The drop rate discussion in general and making gold: I have no issues myself keeping my character wealthy enough to get what I want. You also dont need alot of gold in this game, what drains my gold are my alts. But I level one character, gear him, gather 100g, level another. Every gold above 100g is converted into gems for future use.
I’ve got 5 80s, farming Orichalcum and other high end crafting mats is a great way, thats roughly 15 ores per orr zone, 6 in FG, per character each day, which is around 180 ores in total per day if I do all zones. I usually dont, since I get enough anyways, but it depends on my mood. Some days I just mindlessly slaughter grawls, dredge or orrians for bags and other goodies. I do atleast one Ori run per character in Cursed Shore after I find the 5 locations.
Othe than that I run fractals, no MF gear since its not worth it. Getting a good amount of drops anyways, got 2 exo 2 days ago over the time of two full fractal runs.
Not sure how someone can have as little as 5g when hitting 80. With the completion of the Orr zones I had around 40 on my warrior when he hit 80 a few days back. I havnt finished maelstrom or frostgorge yet for those exos.
I was down below 10g in bank after gearing my warrior a few days back and now I’m back up at 60g after a few days of casual farming.
I also dont understand what people mean when they say “anet wants people to use the gem store”. With the cost of items in the regular TP compared to what you can earn yourself by farming, I dont see it harder to get what you need in this game compared to others.

Ignorant rant that helps no one.
Wow, it’s like you didn’t even read anyone’s complaints at all. Rude.
People are complaining because they are receiving NO or SUBPAR drop rates in comparison to other players. We’re not talking “Go do a dungeon and make it rain.” We’re talking “Oh god, 3 silver to teleport to CoF? Maybe if we don’t wipe at all I’ll break even. Let’s hope the door is open…” They get greys instead of whites, whites instead of blues, and yellows? Hah. maybe once a month if you’re lucky.
Just because this isn’t happening to you, doesn’t mean that you have the right to be so kittening ignorant and have such a lack of compassion for those that are affected.
“Qu’ils mangent de la brioche”
peasants had no bread and who responded: “Let them eat brioche.”

When I used to run dungeons, it wasn’t for the loot, because the loot was always terrible. I’d be lucky to finish with a single rare, even luckier for that rare to give me an ecto.
The last 2 days I’ve played WvW for up to 2 hours each session. Not a single rare dropped. Am I doing something wrong? Am I expected to run WvW with MF?
The only profitable dungeon I found was fractals, but I’m so sick of running that, I’ve given up making gold in this game. Play how you like? Sure, but don’t expect to reap any rewards.
Unfortunately Energumenus hit the nail on the head:

Porous Bones all day in Orr. Loot tables do not like me being there.
you aren’t suppose to farm in this game but stand in LA, buy gems with dollars and trade them for gold, then buy your crap from TP. They won’t tell you this but that’s how it goes and only reading myself makes me…
Maybe the drop rates were nerfed because there not enough items to buy with your gold in the game yet. Hopefully lots of new items will be added to the game, and more ways to make gold by pve hunting. After you reach 80 the only item too expensive to buy is the legendary.
For those people who claim that the drop rates are just some plan to get people to buy gold, I really don’t get it.
First of all, some people do have decent drop rates. If this conspiracy theory is true, why don’t all of us have crap drop rates. It’s been acknowledged even by people who have bad luck consistently that their guildies they run with have better luck. I’m certainly thinking something’s up, but this conspiracy theory doesn’t seem likely to me, if some people are getting drops. I mean why pick on just certain people if they want people to buy gems for gold.
Likewise, if they wanted people to spend money on gems for gold, why would they continually give out things like black lion trading kits and transmutation stones from things like dailies and zone completion. I get so much of that stuff I never have to buy it. If they were so greedy, those rewards never had to have been introduced.
Finally what do people really need so much gold for? The only thing I can really think of is a legendary. And legendaries are supposed to take a while to get. I mean, you can’t buy 500 badges of honor, yiou can’t buy 500 dungeon tokens. If you see legendaries as a long term project, there’s no need to spend money.
Stuff like exotics can be bought for karma, which is easy to get. Ascended gear would sell really well if it were on the trading post and people would need gold to buy it but Anet isn’t allowing ascended gear to be sold. Even most exotics acquired in the fractals are account bound. Does this really sound like a company that wants people to buy gems to get gold.
I played Guild Wars 1 for a long long time. I don’t remember golds (rares) falling from the sky, or greens that were that easily farmable even in that game. In fact, once you hit a certain level, farming was pretty much pointless, Either you ran the Underworld for hopes of getting an ecto, or you tried to get a lockpick drop in a dungeon, which didn’t happen often, or you tried for a voltaic spear drop and farmed it ad nauseum.
The only difference between the two games was that the drop rate could be fooled if you had a trick build with which to solo farm. Because the drops were designed for a larger party and if you soloed stuff you normally wouldn’t be able to, you could get more. But actually playing the game, which is what I did, yielded the same kind of drops I get here. Every now and then you’d get a lockpick or an ecto or a black or white dye, but that’s it.
This game isn’t much different farming wise than Guild Wars 1, which had no gems to gold thing. And you’d need a whole lot of ectos and obby shards to get obsidian armor.
So let’s stop with the conspiracy theories.
Finally what do people really need so much gold for? The only thing I can really think of is a legendary. And legendaries are supposed to take a while to get. OK, so I personally want Kudzu for my ranger. At the current price of 1,750 gold and at my current rate of saving (600+ hours for 30 gold in my bank atm) it would take me… 35,000 hours of play to get the gold needed, but then again the item might cost 100,000 gold (I have no idea of course) by the time I save so there is no possible way I could save the money to buy one.
Sure I have wasted some of my gold over the 4 months but I don’t think I would have earned much over 50 gold in total as I have been saving everything since XMas.
The only real way for me to get a legendary is to craft and I don’t like crafting so I won’t be getting one. T.T

LOL! Good one! I too have a very large collection. These and peppercorns litter my inventory.
celtic seriously lol. get a grip. why would i spend my precious time doctoring screenshots to troll you guys with perceived bad drop rates?
i have much more important things to do than to troll some internet strangers(sorry, it’s not that you’re not important, just not important to me).
to whoever posted about me making 50g in november…sorry but if you read my post history, i didn’t make money off of mob loot until 3 weeks ago. november iirc was not 3 weeks ago.
if you want to go around saying my screenshots are false, go ahead. it’s not going to change the fact that i’m rolling in gold and i could care less if you’re going to make as much or less or more than me, because my experience proves that the drop rate is absolutely fine.
linking from gw2db is not possible DURING an event. my party mate was linking 2 rares at a time in the middle of events while killing stuff. not sure how he can paste those random codes in that fast.
nothing for me to discuss here anymore as it’s just rehash from the same people.
The only real way for me to get a legendary is to craft and I don’t like crafting so I won’t be getting one. T.T
If only it was that easy.
You’d still need mountains of T6 mats, gold, badges of honor, karma, 100% map completion, the precursor, 2 crafting professions maxed, am i forgetting something?
Yeah, probably is easier just to buy it off the TP.

But that’s completely normal didn’t you hear? The reason why everything has been so expensive for months on end now isn’t due to anything but getting rid of those 200 exploiters and banning the bots they had in the game 4 months ago. The economics of TP actually last that long. Or at least that’s what we’re supposed to believe from the “everything’s perfectly fine because I’m getting mine” crowd.
if you want to go around saying my screenshots are false, go ahead.
I didn’t actually.

Maybe you get items continually, but not everyone does. I’ve been playing since head start, and I’ve gotten two bl salvaging kits from the daily. I’ve never gotten any fine transmutation stones from a daily or map completion, does that even happen? I have plenty of basic transmutation stones from map completion, but they’re only usable on level 79 and below gear, so I imagine everyone has plenty that they will never use. Most of the bl items I’ve received, have come from bl chests during head start, I haven’t really opened many since then. Bottom line, my daily rewards generally consist of a mystic coin and a jug of karma. I might see a third item every six weeks or so. I don’t consider that “continually.”
But they gave me plenty of porous bones to compensate.
I have plenty of basic transmutation stones from map completion.
I have so many basic transmutation stones, it’s ridiculous. There is next to nothing for me to use them for. I really wish I could somehow trade these in for the fine ones. Even a trade ratio of 10 or 25 basics per fine would give me something I can actually use. lol

The truth is, if everyone had this same awesome chance at good loot, this thread wouldn’t exist.
The truth is, is everyone would understand chance, this thread wouldn’t exist.
Also the conspiracy theories originate when the Devs don’t have a single response to it’s player base with thousands of threads regarding these issues.
My experience recently is to receive any fair chance at ectos…I have to use a Black Lion kit. The master kits get me an ecto every 3rd or so attempt….never 3 like the BL kits.
Just a guessing game at this point with no communication, so we’re expected to grin and bear it or move on I suppose. So much potential too, sigh….frustration does not = fun:(
1. they clearly stated it’s pure RNG and its all conspiracy theories. They probably won’t say it everytime one of those threads pops up. Although I see there’s a problem with champion/veteran drops since they’re supposed to drop something everytime and it clearly doesn’t happen.
2. BLKs have a 50% chance for rarer materials, master kits 25%. That’s a significant disparity of course. I don’t see anything wrong with that though.
3. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/devtracker
That’s a lot more direct communication than you’ll get from most other companies. And as they said countless times: just because they don’t reply, it doesn’t mean they don’t read. And even if they reply, people start asking tons of questions that could fill several AMAs and are offended if there are no further replies. And if they make a joke, people are offended too because they’re not taken serious. And if they don’t make jokes, people are offended because they’re not close to the community. And if they don’t answer a question, people are offended because they forget the many questions that have been answered before and because they don’t check the dev tracker. Basically, everytime a dev says something, somebody’s gonna be offended. I’m glad they still reply here at all with so much negativity. Even most of the positive threads are instantly trolled by somebody.

Sure, but how many people are going to spend hundreds of dollars to get it. People are talking about Anet designing the game so you don’t get a lot of money from rares, let’s say.
Now, I have 140 gold right now, and that’s after spending quite a bit of gold on other stuff. I’ve never sold a gem. I do run dungeons relatively frequently, but I don’t farm them.
Most of this is gotten just from playing.
So if a legendary is a long term goal, and it takes a year, it takes a year. Surely you don’t think most people are going out and spending hundreds of dollars to get a legendary.
The idea that the drop rate of the game is made the way it is so people don’t have money is just a conspiracy theory.
There’s some kind of elusive bug in the system, because some people ARE getting the drops, that’s my point. What’s the point of giving some people drops and not giving others, if Anet is just in it to get gem sales. Why not give nobody drops if that’s the case?
I’m not saying that a small few people won’t spend hundreds of dollars on gems, but I will say that Anet isn’t counting on that to stay in business. It makes no sense as a business model. Either everyone has lousy farming or no one does. Not half the people.
The only drops that are actually guaranteed anymore are heavy moldy bags….
Agreed.
Aren’t you doing exactly the same? You generalize from your limited perspective and try to attest a global problem when there may be none. Or maybe there is. His/her opinion and observations are in no way less relevant though.
I’d say there’s a global problem when threads like this come up at such a high frequency that they have to sticky a thread and keep sweeping everyone into it, and despite this there are still at least 3 active on the front page of general at any one time.
I’ve played a few other games and NEVER run into this as an issue. (maybe D3 had this issue?)
I have noted that there’s a “great divide”, the people who are not perma-DR’d have a blast and get 3 ectos an hour. The people like me do DO have perma-DR have rewards so pitiful the waypoint costs are not even covered.
I have spent less than 10 minutes in game the past week or so because it’s just THAT BAD.
It’s bad enough and causes enough complaints that whenever it comes up in the presence of a red poster, you will, at least 30% of the time, see a post saying “not this again,”
Generally when complaints get this pervasive, there’s a good and concrete reason for them. Most people would probably play the game rather than complain about it if it were not so dry of loot as to evoke despair rather than fun.
There is nothing wrong with drops.
Look here:
Same cave spider in the same spawn location twice dropped two yellows and the whole map so far dropped 8 greens. I got lots of tier 4 materials more than I ever gotten on a tier 4 map before.
I almost have 4 g here (had only about 1g 80 ish) from just selling blues and whites i don’t salvage and all the junk items. Also had about 4-5 unid dyes.
I don’t see why people complain… Maybe you all need to get to these unpopular maps more.

Congratulations, YOU do not have permanent-dr like half the populations.
Count your lucky starts that you do not have permanent DR.
Those of us who do consider posts like this trolling.
Those of us who do have permanent DR were so frustrated that we, independently and en-masse, have bee continually compelled to close our game clients, come to the forums, and keep so many threads alive the ANet posters now sigh in resignation whenever this issue is brought up.
We are not some “entitled” rare-rain wannabes here, we want to have the same loot chances you do, but that we are denied, usually to the tune of 4 whites and 2 blues from a boss chest!

I get mostly what you guys get for chest loot. It wasn’t until after the last update that I started seeing improved loot from normal creatures.
All I can suggest is go to places that you haven’t been to often maybe you’ll be surprised like I was here.
The loot system seems to award going off the beaten path as much as exp gain for killing not often killed enemies.

Your experience is…your experience.
I could kill that same spider and get nothing. Repeatedly.
So, this proves…oh, yeah. Nothing. lol

So once I reach 100% world completion my drop rates will plummet again.. Nice.. I get “rewarded” for exploring by every area i “know” becoming a loot purgatory.
I’m sorry, but people saying it’s possible for mostly everyone to achieve something like 5g an hour is a stretch and only with ULTRA-lucky drops and not account-wide DR.
There’s far more of players who receive nothing but complete trash drops. Some are blessed with the magic of so called “random” loot drops, but most don’t get nothing but average or less. This game is not rewarding to play unless you farm and GRIND – of course I am ignoring the luck factor, but that’s all up to a process that has patterns in it anyway.
Just playing the game, in your own way, is so kitten unrewarding, that it is practically not worth playing. People only continue to play wvw because 1) it’s fun enough and they are able to afford playing it by doing mindless pve grind 2) because they get ultra super duper lucky drops in wvw.
Fact is, especially in wvw, you will never make money. Your money sinks into repairs and MF makes you do way too little damage.
“play the game how you want” is such and utter bull kitten that it makes me gringe and the people who say loot is good are the lucky one’s, or liars. And then you bring in the skill factor, or whatever, and say do arah for money. You know, arah drops are one of the worst, yet one of the most difficult one’s. Where’s the kitten balance?
Just the point it’s not worth doing the world aside from completion is a tale how unrewarding the game is as a whole.
And don’t, seriously don’t, bring in TP to the discussion. This is about G A M E P L A Y . Not trading economics 101. We play to, PLAY. NOT SIT AROUND THE TP LOOKING AT LETTERS AND NUMBERS.
Edit: Oh let’s also bring up the fact, where do we need money? To get the gear we want? Cannot we play the game to get the gear we want? Why do we have to do these certain things to acquire that gear? Why does someone else have to do 1000 hours when another does 100?
And, hell, those who say you just want it handed to you, just stop it. What a nonsensical dumb argument you have there. Nobody want’s that, we want rewards based on the merits we play in, as in, play like how we choose. Nobody want’s stuff handed to them, that’s a kitten given.
