GW2 The First Year
Vayne, I think you are wrong in thinking this:
“I think most people that don’t like the game have left already (just like every other game) and have moved on.”.
It isn’t because some of us are rather negative towards certain aspects of the game, that we dislike the game in total. Some parts of it still are extremely invigorating and delightful and make the game worthy of our attention. However, the maiority of the posts here focus on changing the game, not on destroying it.
I like the game. A lot. I’m still playing and just bought another character slot (that makes 13). But I also think -
- Living World/Story is ill-conceived (story) wheel-spinning nonsense (game play) and I will keep saying so for as long as it remains ill-conceived (story) wheel-spinning nonsense (game play).
- Ascended Gear is bad. Mm-kay.
- Anet has forgotten the face of its father. Metaphorically speaking.
There are other things that bug me, but these are the primary sore spots. So. Carry on!
It occurs to me that, in the first year of GW2, I went from being one of ArenaNet’s biggest fans and supporters to one of their biggest detractors.
That’s quite an accomplishment
Yeah we get it…. You hate the living story, you hate having to work for ascended weapons….
Freakin quit already. Go find an MMO with no grind, no monthly fee, that hands you legendary weapons for no work whatsoever. Let me know how the search goes.
