Game Updates: World Boss Synchronization
I have already quit playing because of it. Still no response from the developers I see. Keeping an eye on the forums.
Personally, I’m doing WAY more boss fights than ever before since I know exactly when and where to be for the event starts and there are always more than enough people participating in the events.
However, the 8 hour spread on the mega-bosses is just horrible unless you are unemployed or a kid on summer vacation from school. You only get rewards once a day, so what possible harm could there be in letting the mega bosses run in rotation every hour, hour and a half, or two hours?

simple answer? anet wanted to encourage zergs. They were afraid with too many options, they wouldnt get full participation.
As an aside i prefer a more dynamic system, with ways players can track the events if they so choose.
The spread of the minor bosses is.. well lets just say I spend more time waiting than anything else. I’ll skip world bosses for now until the “schedule” can actually make sense. Not going to wait around for hours just to down 8+ simple world bosses.

What I find really amusing is the insistence that the game design be active skill based with dodging and such being more important than pure stats, but then they jam in so many players with so many particle effects that you can’t even see the boss or the ground effects at all, so you can’t do anything other than hit tab until you see the boss name on the top of the screen, watch your cooldown timers, and hope there is enough regen around to keep you alive through the stuff you can’t see to dodge or enough other people that someone will rez you.
Well, after five days of doing things with the new timer, here’s how I feel:
The “easier” world boss events schedule is mostly fine. Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to wait so long to grab certain bosses, but I can usually manage to catch each one within the 24 hour period.
However, the schedule for the “mega” bosses is just awful. With the old way I could almost always manage to squeeze in a Tequal and Wurm run every day. Now, I just don’t even try because they spawn at such odd times for me. :\
Love this great to have a set schedule makes it nice to post in guild message for what we are going to do! great job!
The boss shedule is horrible. I tried several bosses in the past hour and none of them were actually there. But that is not even the bad side. Now I have to do these so called dynamic events after a shedule, making farming bosses more ineffective. Tequatl and Wurm can only be tried 3 times without a large guild now. Before my server probably did 6 tequatl kills with pugs per day.
Cant believe you manage to ruin your game more and more each patch. This feature patch is such a letdown.
World bosses are completely terrible now. 2 guild runs completely ruined. Also, the guild treks, bounties and that stuff is no all screwed up because of the new megaserver idea.
I don’t like how zergs now completely destroy the challenge of an event. It’s just facerolling bosses because of the huge number of players participating.
I get it, the number of active players seems much bigger now, but with the way the scaling works at the moment, it’s just a autoattack-toomucheffects-battle which only caters towards loot-farmers.
(experience taken from following encounters: Jungle Wurm, Shadow Behemoth, the two world bosses in Mount Malstroem, Fire-Elemental)
@Reyo… NOOOOOO Come back!
@Topic:
We from TxS lost since the update (one week ago) about the same amount of players as in the last four Months combined, since most of them can´t attend our runs anymore thanks to the new schedule. Not to mention those who stopped playing altogether. GG Anet.
Even my PvE Guild that does not make any official runs at all (except Guildmissions) lost about half of the core Members. We can´t even do the Guildmissions anymore.
And with lost i mean they left the game, most of them for good.
Well as soon as the Megaserver hits Wurm and Tequatl, i too have basicly nothing else to do anymore in this game. These two are the reason i am still playing (again) since september. And there is a reason i joined a Tequatl guild in the first place, i want clean coordinated kills with a high percentage of success. Doing Teq or Wurm with random people (no offense) is just stressful and no fun at all. Anyone trying to do them on an overflow should know exactly what i mean with that.
The “minor” worldbosses that can be done without any skill or coordination at all are just not my type. They are just boring and i won´t bother with them.
Don´t fix it when it is not broken!

I’m really curious when will the Orr Temples be added in the timer tab with the rest World Bosses and events? Also why weren’t they added in the first place in the rotation?
Some difficulty with the megaserver, and how the events work, think they said it’s something they’re working on, but for now this was the best solution they had.
Ill still be on team speak warsheep. Ill try to pop on for the rare teq and wurm spawns I can actually do on days off. Since the ones that spawn during the week are no longer viable for me since I work. Thanks for that btw anet.

Quite a few dev posts exist from the likes of DC etc. saying how they wanted to bring more players to Orr, cos lets be honest its been pretty much a ghost town since month 2.
By leaving temples out of the rotation, adding in the trait unlocks and keeping the champs untouched it meant a new wave of champ trains and Temple runners have been spawned out of the WB synchronisation…. don’t worry though it wont last for long when ANET checks its metrics on the spoils players begin to make from doing it over and over.
Cant make a WB cos of schedule fiasco, don’t worry Queensdale, Frosty and Orr will fill ya purses instead until they nerf it all back some more.
I do not like the schedule. Please rectify.
How can any of the Dynamic Group Events be on a schedule? I think by definition they are mutually exclusive.
I tried to adhere to schedule when I played a few times this weekend, but the waiting around was utterly boring. If it weren’t for the Dragonite Ore, I would start skipping this content, period, as it doesn’t fit my schedule.
Today i saw they also nerfed the ‘join in’ button. This whole thing is rediculous for bosses like tequatl, wurm and karka queen. Even at this horrible hour, i could try join in a bit later, but that’s also history. This whole thing is a huge letdown, i realy hope they listen to their players on this matter… This is not fun and has imo no advantages at all. Why so stubborn :’(.
World Bosses have turned into massive zergs of lag and auto-attack afkers.
I have to agree. Yes they have.
I the past world bosses were something special for me. After the patch, they are not anymore.
Greetings.
Exactly what i was trying to say!
People end say saying i’m a whiner, but i just want my World Bosses back! Do it with small parties, guildies, challenging stuff, not this, definitely not this.
I really hope ANet reads this thread and doesn’t get into “Ignore-Mode”, we need Feature Patches for the better, not for the worse.
Asura thing.
What happens if Temple events get added to the schedule, less scheduled time for other events?

The “Join In” button has worked fine for me on megaserver maps, as well as non-megaserver maps. The only time it won’t work is if you’re trying to guest onto a Main map (a non-mega map) and try to join someone else via “Join in”, and that’s not a new thing.
Earlier I suggested (as have others) that multiple bosses should spawn in each time slot, giving players freedom of choice.
However, this would not deal with some very real problems:
- World boss hunting currently takes ~5 hours to complete, not counting temples or the non-scheduled bosses, with only an occasional 15 minute break between events. This is far longer than pre-patch, unreasonably so. This wouldn’t get much better even if all the mid-level bosses spawn at the same time, because you still have to wait 4 hours for the rotation of time slots, plus the additional hour the extra-hard world bosses add currently.
- The current schedule is incredibly boring compared to the old one. It simply does not feel like a hunt anymore, when there is no variation from one day to the next. Related, these bosses feel far less epic than they did before. It doesn’t seem like an accomplishment to kill something that shows up exactly at the right time, and theres a pile of heroes just waiting there to kill it. It wasn’t that great before, but at least there was the uncertainty of knowing when the boss would show up.
I know for a fact that a large portion of the world boss hunting crowd from my server have stopped doing the rotation. Since that was pretty much all they did in the game, they’re playing only a fraction of the time they used to play, and that time decreases every day.
This post is mainly meant to point out problems. If I’m not the first to point out a problem, then I’m tossing my vote on the pile.
I have a suggested solution, but I honestly don’t know if it’s any good, since I don’t know that much about the server architecture or specifics of the boss scripts.
- Add pre-events for each boss that doesn’t already have one. Once the quest is completed, the boss is guaranteed to spawn.
- Whenever a new instance of a zone is created, any world boss pre-events in that zone are immediately available for starting.
- Once the boss is spawned, whether it is defeated or not, it goes on cooldown. When the cooldown timer ends, that boss’ pre-event becomes available for starting again.
- When you enter a zone, you probably won’t know how long it will be until you can spawn the boss. For this reason, the cooldown for regular bosses should be maybe 30 minutes. For mega-bosses, probably an hour.
This would re-randomize the bosses. It would make them feel more epic, especially if you make the pre-event quests interesting. And it would be technically possible to kill all the bosses in much less than 5 hours, because you aren’t going to have to wait the full half hour for every one.
One karka queen a day is not enough.
I feel as though if I don’t log on at exactly 8pm central time, I miss out on the event for the whole day. The fight lasts less than 1 min, and I’m either working or sleeping through the other times the queen spawns. 8 pm is rough anyways, and there are plenty of things to do at that time other than sit around clearing camps from 7:45-8:00 waiting for the 60 second fight to have the event then again be put on a 91/2 hour cooldown.
sure, guilds can activate it, but how will regular players like me be able to know when the guild has activated the event? Am i now forced to be a mindless individual in a large guild with no presence? Just another hammer in the wvw zerg? The megaserver already took away my server’s amazing community, now you want to take away my guild as well?
One of the most enjoyable aspects of guild wars 2 was that it allows us players to play how we wanted… however with this schedule, and the megaserver in general, it is no longer possible. I am now forced to play in adherence to time restrictions. My community is gone (now terrorized by zerker elitists), my ability to run and organize world events is gone (the commander tag i wear is pointless, there are usually 15 others on a map, all sitting around not helping with the pre-events), and worst of all, I now have to turn map chat and say off in order to avoid spoilers to who knows what, nothing is sacred anymore.
please get rid of these changes. Both the megaserver and the boss schedule are crap. I miss being a member of my server. Now, im just a face in the crowd, and nothing is stopping me from transferring to a higher ranked wvw server and seeing the same faces on the same maps.

Love this great to have a set schedule makes it nice to post in guild message for what we are going to do! great job!
lol….but what kind of guild runs do you guys do? you put up messages that says “we will be doing fire ele followed by SB starting 10:15pm tonight?”….sorry…i find it hilarious.
I loved everything about the patch… except this. Not only does the schedule make events feel rigid (I thought they were suppose to be dynamic??) but it makes running events feel like a complete chore. And, with megaservers, there is no way to tell when events in Orr are beginning without sitting in the map and camping them, not to mention the overpopulation that leads to me simply pressing buttons as fast as possible to hope I can have any slim chance of getting loot.
Events were the most fun part of the game for me, but the new megaserver and event system has completely sucked the play value of GW2 dry.
Well Anet has already begun closing threads that have been both constructive and poignant in pointing out the many frustrations and concerns around the megaserver, WB synchronisation and the shambles this patch has brought out of the woodwork.. so don’t expect anything to come from this thread either.. ANETs approach to handled anything that is not considered positive feedback to them is close it or ignore then close it.. speaks volumes imo.
Speaking for myself, the Megaservers and general PvE is great. Always people around now and doing events. This change is overwhelming positive for me.
But the World Bosses are awful. It’s more like a job now. If it’s reset, then I should be at Shatterer. Then Maw. Then Ulgroth. Fire ele. Karka Queen. And everywhere I go for these, so does EVERYONE else. It’s a massive zerg. At Ulgroth, my char is constantly being tossed around because I can’t see the invulnerable wind things. I can’t even begin to avoid them as they aren’t even visible.
Please, have several bosses spawn at the same time. Give us a choice and break up the zerg. We don’t need a full map to do these events and it ruins them when it’s forced upon us.
If they have to insist on using schedule, they should make more than 1 bosses spawn at a time. This would spread the zerg, reduce lag, make it easier to tag, and give ppl more choice.

^Pretty much that.
Alternatively remove the schedule where it doesnt make sense. For example the Harathi Hinterlands meta chain was purely player activity driven. The only timer was the time duration between the defeat of Ulgoth to the next assault against Cloven Hoof, and that was about 20 mins. Have more event chains like this, not less. This way even if you just miss the boss, you will have a chance to do it soon enough.
Dont be afraid to spread out the players, especially now. Megaservers would ensure there are people around for these events even if its not on a clear schedule. Less people than now for sure, more people than before. Hopefully somewhat balanced.
Keep Waypoint costs going from one map to the other. Remove WP cost between WPs on the same map similarly to cities.
Even if we dont get to see it, give our accounts a kind of short term memory of the megaserver shards we have been put to on that day. Relogging to the same area should put us on the same shard automaticly if its still active.
Give more options and to players to choose where they want to end up. Skynet is a poor AI, and i will never trust an AI however sophisticated, to tell me how to socialise.
I play GW2 so I do not have to keep to a schedule.
I could log on when I have a few minutes, catch whatever boss was up- have some fun and still have time to take care of my family etc.
That is why I quit the game I used to play because I didn’t appreciate telling my husband, I have to do this now, can’t make dinner or chat to you- or tell my daughter- sorry, have to finish this tuck your self in.
A game should fit in with my schedule- my life should not have to fit into a game schedule
This is terrible and removes not only any semblance of an actual dynamic and alive world- it is really insulting to players.
Exactly, you have point. Hate this modification totally ruin my fun
About World Boss Events and PVE in General
To me, the Megaservers + Boss synchronization takes away any feeling of personal achievement, initiative and self-organization.
It’s just hitting a boss as part of a massive zerg until we get the loot. And doing boss events seems to be a lot less profitable right now, which is a huge problem for casual players who want to get some ascended gear; or do not have the time to play several hours a day.
To me, PVE Gameplay is close to non-existent in the moment.
Since I love this game, I’d like to make some suggestions what could be done, not only about bosses and megaservers, but PVE in general.
1) create events which encourage self-organisation. The big wooden tower in the Kessex Hills was a good example for that.
2) Give Players more choices, start at least 2 boss events any quarter hour.
3) My guess is that at least 80% of all existing “normal” events are nearly never played – what a waste of design and ideas. Give “normal” events a “reward level clock” (should be visible on the map), and give them much higher rewards if they weren’t played for a while – let them scale accordingly, with Champ enemies, etc. This would make “Questing” fun (and profitable, which is a Prerequisite given economical goals like ascended gear or legendaries). Give Players a chance to self-organize and communicate / cooperate, see Events like the Nagling Giant, or the Wolf Master Champ. Doing “normal” Quests could and should be much more challenging and at least as rewarding as doing boss events.
4) To populate lesser played maps, reward levels should be pushed on that maps. For example: Queen Jennah could announce that the people in the Gendarran Fields need some help, and that reward levels will be higher for a day (and enemies tougher). The announcement could even be done by a lonely herald in the cities, so the news could be spread player to player.
5) Big Events like Tequatl might be interesting for huge guilds (which is perfectly ok, imho), but for casual players, they offer a hard choice: should I really spend an hour or more on that map waiting for the event, hoping it will be organized , missing other opportunities, and in the end, the event might even fail? Imho, events should be more rewarding right from the start.
6) Give Players a (visible!) Incentive to form groups, play with guild members, and doing events from the start; sort of a personal reward level: +10% for playing in a group, +10% for playing on the same map on the same events, +10% for playing with guild members, +10% for any part of the event that was played, etc.
8) To promote playing with a Guild, You could create a guild event that gives higher rewards for some hours on a map for a certain guild, for all activities on that map.
9) Dungeons / Fractals are mostly boring. Either somebody did a dungeon path a gazillion times before, or he / she is more or less dragged through that dungeon by a group who has done that dungeon … a gazillion times before. Use Your existing designs, and open dungeon paths and fractals in a way the wooden tower in the Kessex Hills worked.
10) Open World Chest. Assume an open world chest like the one close to svanir shaman starting point would suddenly be guarded by a bunch of really though svanir champions… could be something nice in that chest…
To reiterate, the world boss synchronization, although maybe necessary, has killed a lot of what I would call “Meta-Game”. For a much better PVE Experience (this is what a lot of Players look for, imho), the Game Design should promote communication, ad-hoc self organisation, cooperation, grouping and possibly guild activity – and this could be visible as a “Reward Level” on the GUI.
Events should be designed in a way that makes them rewarding right from the start – not more “binary” events like Tequatl or the three headed Wurm.
The reward level should be high enough to be encouraging. It should be as high as the more or less profitable, but boring PVE activities like World Event Hopping or Dungeons. After all, economical goals like creating a legendary weapon is a huge incentive to keep playing Guild Wars 2.
I’m not a huge fan of the new schedule. It feels like going back to school all over again with strict timetables. Aside from that, I used to be able to do Teq almost every day if I had the time but now I can’t because the times are really awkward since I’m based in EU. Please at least double the spawn of those world bosses to 6 times a day so players of all timezones can participate. Thank you.
Please, this at the very least, though I am of the mind that if you are going to increase the length between boss spawns, that it only ever be every 3 hours at most.
7 hours between spawns is insanity and in fact removes world bosses as an option for many people because, gasp WE HAVE JOBS AND CLASSES AND REAL LIVES.
Making PvE content less accessible is a recipe for failure. WoW doesn’t restrict raiding to THIS ONE HOUR EVERY DAY because it would be asinine. Yet, in a game where the closest thing you get to raiding is world bosses, you see fit to make them only spawn 3 times a day. Are you nuts, Anet?

Posted on a different thread, but it looks like it fits here too…
If you absolutely need to put the bosses on a schedule, have each boss spawn, in rotation, evey 5 minutes:
Teq = 1:00am
SB = 1:05am
Maw = 1:10am
Dwayna = 1:15am
Next = 1:20am
Etc.
Heck, you could do a 7 minute rotation to make it more random… and even more random by randomizing the spawn order every daily reset!
I know multiple bosses can pop at the same time. It used to happen all the time.
Millions of people all over the world play at all different times. A schedule like that would give variety, randomness in relation to when people log in, and with the megaserver thing, their should always be people on to do the event.
Really… who thought up this, “same time every day” schedule?!?! Have they never heard of the old drinking saying, “It’s always after work somewhere.”?
So a lot of people have been stating the same things over and over again. I’d love to reiterate them because they apply to me as well.
As someone who helped to run a world boss train for a majority of Isle of Janthir, this patch has made the game a lot less enjoyable. The whole premise of this change was to make world bosses more accessible and promote the growth of social communities.
However, the addition of MegaServers and synchronization seems, to me at least, to have done the opposite. Through the process of this quality of life update, so many communities have been destroyed. Just before WvW Leagues started, we held a raffle for about a week and a half during the 2 1/2 hours we would complete ALL the world bosses. We raised about 500 gold worth of siege and supplies for IOJ’s WvW community. There’s no way we could ever possibly do that again with the implementation of MegaServers.
As it is now, It’s nearly impossible to find a contested temple because of the auto-balancing of maps. I’m sure they’re out there, but who knows which server they’re on or which server I’m on for that matter. If you do find one, in about 30 seconds the map will be flooded with people and no one else from my party/guild can get in.
On top of that, if an event becomes bugged, like the instance of Temple of Melandru I found last night. Instead of a single server of people missing out on that for a little bit, now at least 10x the amount of people are going to miss out on it because no one will want to be on that map, but people will be forced to go there regardless.
Personally I’d like to see MegaServers rolled back entirely, but I know that won’t happen. I kind of wish we could have a hybrid, removing the guesting limitations, but maintain seperate servers, again that won’t happen. A lot of good ideas have been given in this thread, I really REALLY hope that Arena Net listens to some of them.
Regardless, they’ve changed the game from “play as you please” to “play this way, because it’s better.”
I wish Arena Net had been more vocal about their roll out of MegaServers as well, instead of just pushing them out without any real notice. I’m pretty sure 50% of the games population doesn’t realize that all maps are MegaServered now.
Any ways, sorry for rambling and not maintaining a straight line of thought, I just really hate the state of the game currently. I don’t see why Arena Net decided to fix something that wasn’t broken.
I keep on hearing Anet say that GW2 is a “living world”.
I didn’t think it would be so much like the REAL living world wherein I have to log in at specific times each day in order to kill certain bosses – the same way I have to go to work at certain times each day in order to pay my mortgage!
I don’t understand why the pre-events for the metas start if it’s not time for the ACTUAL meta. I followed Gamarien around for 5 minutes (because I seen it was active) for what turned out to be no reason. It’s just confusing.
I have no idea where the schedule is. I know it was posted on a blog somewhere…It should be in game.
It is nice to see all the maps with tons of people on them. Makes it feel like launch all over again…minus the 50 million commander tags everywhere
Mercenaries Of Anarchy[MOA] (SBI)
I tried giving this schedule a chance but I can’t seem to make it to most of them. I’ve only been able to do Karka Queen a lot and yesterday I was lucky enough to zone in Straights of Devastation while a zerg was pushing to Balthazar.
Also wouldn’t it have made sense to put this schedule in game instead of having to look it up on the forum?
You need to make these bosses and events more open like they used to be.
Well The only event I did since the patch was a temple of melandru I stumbled on.
I do not find a “schedule” fitting for a dynamic game.
I do not like the ultra zergs at all.
I don’t have time to put an app on my phone and come running each tiume the needed event is on.
I do need a game which relaxes me and gives me the feeling I’m relaxing and enjoying myself, I can find this in dungeon, although the loot nerfs were uncalled for. I find it in WvW, but the dynamic events in PvE are now broken relics of a better time,
Generally speaking world-bosses are like Lions Arch at them moment, And A-Net is Scarlet… Hope you’ll do better. All your fancy time machines (marionettes?) will not save you.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.
I think it is too bad that the karkas Queen is on a long timer. We use to do it without oud small guild making it an actual challenge.
Next to that the teamspeak im in died of it. We used to run alle bosses, But since the change there is alot of time between the events making it not worth anymore. The fact that i Will be doing it with so many people in megaserver gives me a bigger feeling of taughtless zerging. The challenge in the bosses has gone completely lost for me.
Groetnis, fvux
Ps, dont get me wrong. There is still loads of other stuff i have fun in!

Used to log in and do 8 or 9 events for the night, never the same order 2 days in a row. It felt like I had freedom to choose the way the night went with what events I did. Now I log in and do the exact same bosses in the exact same order and it’s so crowded that even doing those are no longer fun. I tried WvW and it was fun for a while, almost done crafting all the gear I want, and I never cared for Pvp matches much. It’s too bad that the end game that was enjoyable has come to an end.
I would suggest making the 13 portal phase a sub-event in the Shadow Behemoth fight. That way those that bother to run around shutting the portals would get a bit of an extra reward compared to those who just stand there doing nothing in the meantime.

It’s like playing a bus schedule now.
I’m really bummed. I haven’t been able to make a Tequatl attempt since the update due to my schedule and (ugh) the game’s schedule. I used to be able to attempt it once a day after reset, and now I feel like I’m being punished for working 8+ hour days and then having to make dinner/spend time with real people.
I don’t like having to look outside the game for the schedule. This was a flaw even the previous system had, but the APIs were great in that they included temples. I was never sitting around for 20 minutes waiting for something to pop. I don’t like the schedule compared to the old system, though it could be worse I suppose — could be totally random with no APIs like the temples, heh.
eta: Oh, forgot to mention how laggy things are now and how much more of a zerg it is but I think that’s been thoroughly covered in other threads. That’s less about the synchronization itself and more about megaservers overall, so I’ll leave it here as a mere afterthought.
(edited by kimeekat.2548)
So much about the “Dynamic” Events and “no grind”.
People on EU are still at work when Teq spawns.
Also, an issue caused by the synchronised megabosses, from an excellent feedback thread that was censored locked:
From Kinsmir.5623
“Well, i already said +1 but i will repeat it again.
Today with the mega servers enabled on Bloodtide Coast made it even worse.
A lot of folks from [DV] got in the same instance with [Wurms] both trying to organize it on the same megaserver.
What caused for us ( [DV] ) to move everyone to empty overflows and caused a lot of people to miss out of our entire run and a lot of problems with people being unable to join.
It also caused for a lot of people of the german population getting mixed with us because they wanted to do a run with [Wurm] and their mega server/instance was full.
We ended up doing our run in multiple language (english on teamspeak and german/france in map/local).
At this rate this community is going to down really fast if it stays as it is, because some people got already hostile about it.”

Ok, so as from the world sync on bosses, im in a world of confusion, and if im in a world of confusion, you get bet others are feeling the same.
It was my understanding of the mega server system that they would be on a schedule. So a few days ago i was leveling up in Blazeridge Stepps, the Shatterer pre was up, so took the opportunity to swap to my main and come back to have a go at it. Gues what—came back and—-no Shatterer—-no pre, not even the promp that it had recently been defeated O-O, apparently on re-logging id be transferred to another mega server with no Shatterer, and judging from the map chat, I wasn’t alone. Guilds were separated and re-loggers kept from doing it.
I would really love to have a go at the wurm and teq (formerly piken square—-i say formerly as server identity no longer exists) but the way things are looking at the moment, I have a slim chance and no chance——-and Slim just left the building!

Well, after very careful consideration, and more than a week’s worth of this crap new system, I’ve come to the conclusion that your new event rotation system sucks.
I’d love to be able to give you better news and change the tone of this thread, albeit slightly… but WHY?? Why go changing something that was already working just fine and had no real need of attention, just for the sake of better accommodating the megaserver system?? The best idea would be to leave certain maps out of the megaserver, ie. the ones with the most popular and therefore, populous events.
What the hell happened to all the temple events and their timers? None of the usual website based API’s/timers I’ve seen cater accurately (or at all) for temples anymore.

I made this thread earlier this week to more accurately describe how I (and others) felt about the giant cluster you’ve made out of events. It really is now all about being a race for the loot. Why? Because that’s the way you made it. Lots more people don’t get loot from this event system because certain bosses (I’m looking at the Svanir Shaman, aka: the Frozen Maw) are ganged up on to DPS down so quickly that not everyone will get credited for the kill, even if they get event credit. That thread goes on to mention some pretty useful tips on how to rectify it as well.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
“Obtaining a legendary should be done through legendary feats…
Not luck and credit cards.”
Please PLEASE make these bosses spawn more frequently.
Karka at 5pm (UK) is NOT peak time. Most people are still organising dinner and whatnot by the time Teq is on.
(also Karka dies WAY too fast after spawning. Her even is at 5, and she’s dead by 5.05. As much as I dilike the health buffs, thats too quick, for a boss that only spawns 3 times a day. Maybe switch her to the TBD times? Her difficulty is equal to that of fire ele or behe-though behe takes longer now).
Or if you dont want to change the times, Make it cheaper for guilds so that they can run them more often.

wanted to add/ask.
Jormag seems to take longer than the schedule allows/accounts for.
Anyone else get the feeling that a worker mixed up karka and jormag? It really seems like (time wise) that it would fit better in the “hardcore” bosses. or am I the only one thinking this?

First you changed timers for Tequatl which screw up the entire daily organisations. Now this. I HATE this new system. The old timers were absolutely fine. The new mechanics in some boss encounters are good. But come oooooon I want the old timers!
