Here’s a few ideas I can think of:

1) Make every character in Guild Wars 2 naked.
2) Make every character into Sylvari
3) Make every character into Quaggans

Just to see everyone rage i highly approve this. If this was Kickstarter and i could spend my money on this, I would throw my wallet into you face just to see this happen.

Take all maps and swap them along the X-axis. This would be a huge laugh for people in EotM who memorize all the ledges/jumps. Anyone who’s mastered all the jumping puzzles could get a new feel for them.

Troll dailies:
*Daily Giant Slayer- Kill 10 giants
*Daily LFG Spam- Say LFG in map chat 500 times
*Daily Cliff Jumper- take 10,000,000 damage from a fall
*Daily Deaths- Die 300 times
*Daily Syncronizer- Do 5 critical hits in a row that do the exact same damage to the same target.

rotate screen by either 90, 180, 270, or 360(unchanged) degrees

all NPCs change their appearance to dragon minions

insane lorebreaking events (similar to the above mixed bosses suggestion) such as Karka invasion of maguuma wastes or mordrem in the shiverpeaks

Introduction of a legendary spork (random trophy item)

new world boss: Dracorabbit- has insane AOE range on all attacks and always 1HKO all enemies (no downed state). Has 1 HP The only way to win is to use cheap tactics. Always awards a white. Only way to get credit for event is to either do preevents, get slaughtered by it 5 times, or deliver the deathblow (only hit).

Have “ERROR: Division by 0 is not possible” appear on a players screen every time they use a WP. Every 50 times they use a WP have it show “TERMINATING” on the screen in red letters as large as it can be and still be read

Balance changes:

Warrior:
-All sound effects for shouts have had their volume increased by 200%

Elementalist:
-By decree of Elen Kiel, all elementalists are banned from using daggers on the second tuesday of every month.

Ranger:
-Rapid Fire: Damage increased by 25%
-Point Blank Shot: range increased to 1200. Knockback distance increased to 5000. Ignores all stability, including Defiant and Determined
-Sic Em: Pet now chases target relentlessly. Pet ignores all stealth/walls/damage/orders/physical boundaries

Mesmer:
-Number of clones allowed increased to 5

Thief:
-All stealth abilities have a chance to add this buff: Permastealth- cannot be targeted by anything. Will not be removed until thief dies or rezones.

Engineer:
-Turrets have 25% more armor and HP

Guardians:
-Only take damage from critical hits

Necromancers:
-Regain Death Shroud 50% faster
-Immune to bleeding and fear

Dungeons:
-Any player entering a dungeon with full beserker gear will have their gear transformed to nomad gear. Each time they kill an enemy, there is a 5% chance that 1 piece of gear will change back to beserker gear.
-All enemies can inflict cripple.

WvW:
-Outmanned- added the following effects: +20,000 HP, +50% Critical Hit chance, +500 Power, +50% Condition Duration, +500 Condition Damage

PvP:
-Dishonored- any player with dishonored may now que up for a game. Upon entering a game, they will recieve 4 ally NPCs. 1 will AFK, 1 will disappear (ALT+F4), 1 will run in and die to anything, and 1 will shout random stuff in map chat.

Event Changes:
-Frostgorge Sound: all events have a chance to spawn 3 Champion Abominations when scaled up too high.

Centaurs are now a playable race AND can be used as mounts by other players.

I think all rabbits in game should become aggressive and be the highest level creatures in whatever area they are located.

ANet announces dueling for that day only. Large button on UI appears to allow a one day dueling choice, yes/no. (Dueling haters rage, dueling lovers rejoice). Then they announce that the button was bugged and the duelers are non duelers and the non duelers are duelers. (Everyone rages).

They could tell everyone SAB is active, but if you try to enter it, it puts your character into a cage for 24 hours where you get lectured by Trahearne about why SAB is dumb.

change all PVE oponents including the Worldbosses to Skritt of different size and change their voice/sound to skritt voices. <3

2 Minutes after login, a system message appears that a new build will be available within the next 10 min, without a new build being available.

New system put in on the world bosses for April Fools. The world bosses are replaced with the same appearing bosses but which are controlled by actual people with updated skills.

See the Shatterer chase down and flame all those people who dared attack his toenail. Watch the Golem waypoint into Lions Arch and start shooting and electrifying everyone it sees. (LA is destroyed once more). See the Shadow Behemoth give the players in Divinities Reach something to really think about.

Change the game’s font to comic sans.

Rotate dye RBG value on armor and outfits by one position, say GRB or BGR, the results should be atrocious.

I was having a spring clean of my screenshots, sorting them into years and I found this.

This is from the first day of SAB, April 1st 2013. Anyone want to share something else from the original release?

Okay, from what I have seen…

2013 we have Super Adventure Box
2014 we got bobbleheads

My guess…… we would all be stick figures.

I’d really, really love for it to be SAB again, but I have a bad feeling it won’t be.

They did stick figures in GW1 one year, I wouldn’t mind seeing it in GW2

I’d say nows the best time to release a whole line of false specializations but it might cause too much anger. :o

The April Fools joke has been delayed for two weeks™ . We are very sorry™.

We could all be potted plants or giant broccolis hopping around. that would be very HoT-themed and it would look funny.

All armor for males are replaced by a half nekkid onesie – lord faren’s speedo outfit.
All armor for females are replaced by a half nekkid onesie – kasmeer’s bikini outfit.

Weapons will still be stowable and wieldable.

You know i want half naked armors for the guys in the regular game, not in an April fool’s way. :I
My guardian would love to show his buttocks in a cheek-free pants.

I dont like it very much myself, but they would be pleasing a lot of players with the return of SAB.

April Fools!

I think it will be again something visual, that first is on Aprils Fools free to use and then becomes later like the Buble head Thing a gem Store Item for the case you want to have that effect permanently just for fun.

Something like:

- Gender Change Illusion, that works liek the Bobbleheads
- Revenant Day (for 1 day everyone can play pre HoT the Revenant) Gem Store item becomes then a Revenant Outfit (would be a similar AFD like in GW1 with the Commando, where we had for 1 day completely different skills and)
- Race Change Illusion that changes you into a chosen different race with random style settings, so that the outcome always looks different, that works like the Bobbleheads, where you can have its effekt either for 5 minutes or 1 hour
- Destiny’s Edge Chan – Everyone turns into a random Chibi-Version of one of the Destiny’s Edge Members of either Rytlock, Caithe, Logan, Eir or Zojja (reminder on Gwen Chan, just this time with GW2’s Heroes) – would be funny as a five man group of chibis to do as Chibi-DE Group for example fractals or dungeons also with different skills based on those characters ^^

This would be good advertising. It would help advertise for HoT while also being a fun April Fools Day joke.

It would be even more hilarious if everyone played the beta version of the Revenant. No variety of classes for a day. Everyone is a Revenant. Imagine how that will play out? XD
