Hear me out, I believe that Anet will introduce a method of salvaging Ascended rings.

50% chance of recovering a precursor from each salvaged ring.

Thoughts?

First, love the name.
Second, as long as the 50% never procs and you end up with a lump of brittle metal that sells for 4.95 silver, that would be awesome.

In all seriousness, If I could toss them into the mystic forge or Break them down somehow for 1 Dragonite/emp/Blood Id be happy at this point.

I found this preview bug earlier today (it works on all weapons as far as I can tell). Previewing a wielded weapon makes the weapon appear approximately half its size (changing preview mode removes the effect).

Perhaps we’ll be playing with tiny weapons…

And with huge minipets?

Valid, or even a vendor that you could trade for a loot bag like in Silverwastes. Could create a little minigame where most of the bags have 4.95 silver but could contain items, mats, coins (up to a gold these are ascended after all) and a mix of the like. Would increase the value a bit more.

LOLOLOL. Was in the middle of a zerg fight in WvW and suddenly the game went into sepia tone, everyone’s hands were out, aviator caps on our head and making airplane noises.

So today, I was walking around, just leveling my new toon. Suddenly, a wild ANet prank appears. Happy April Fools to all, and may your pranks be the best.

I know it’s ‘just a bit of fun’ but is there a way to turn it off?? I’m finding it quite distracting.

Go to settings, graphics, postprocessing and set it to none, you’ll be good to go.

Try setting the date on your computer to 02.04. it helped last year.

Turn off postprocessing to get rid of the sepia effect.

I turned off the post processing that helped, but still that stupid airplane crap, tried changing dates on computer too, smh……

Full Post processing, medium and off give different visual effect. If you don’t want the full sepian you can go medium for just a bit.

This would make a great table like the bobble head.

Already did. I could probably even do with the arms sticking out but not with the irritating male Asura imitation of an airplane engine. I know, I could turn sounds off but that would totally mess up the game experience.

Sorry ANet-guys but this 1st April is the worst so far. The Animation is not funny. Under the current circumstances it’s a sign of bad taste. I could have lived with the animation,
but the “joke” music after jumping and dying is disgusting. I can’t even understand the
“ANet is settled in the US”-excuse for not knowing what’s going on in the world. Your market is made for Europe too. Pls think the next time, before patching something like this! Regards
