What on earth is going on there?!? People with normal skills, people with food and buffs, guards with aegis…. pets….. so many bugs…

I have… not the slightest clue. One guy was running around killing things that were obviously invisible. Pets attacking invisible people meanwhile others are just standing around. Its sad

It has happened to me in one of the games I played last night. I assume that it is the same (or a similar) bug that randomly doesn’t transform players into charr in the Ascalon fractal.

Or a round with no enemies. This whole patch is an unbelievable mess.

Lunatic Inquisition is my favorite activity, here’s my feedback so far:

First of all, still after more than two years my main complaint about activities is the same. You can’t play them in groups, only with random folks.
Second, like you guys said this year lunatic inquisition is full with bugs:
-Guardians with aegis
- Courtiers not in ghost form, using normal skills.
- Food buffs
- I started once with more than 10 courtiers on my side

Also, there seems to be another big issue with this activity: one round is too long. Loads of people don’t even bother on the survivor’s side, they go straight to ghosts to get slaughtered only to get the rewards faster. It kills the fun in it.

I hope these things will be fixed someday, and someone who actually can make a change will read the feedback….

The reason for this is that the Lunatic Inquisition Regular achievement is bugged. You only get progress if you kill a villager. That means, if you want your match to count at all, the best thing you can do is become a ghost as early as possible.

Survivors don’t get achievement credit.

People don’t bother surviving because the game is too long and the rewards are poor. 3 bags for lunatic win, 5 bag for the survivors. And it takes soooooooooooo long, it gets to the point where u just can’t be asked.
Also for the regular achievement, u don’t need a kill. Counts for both lunatic and survivors.

Considering those trying to max the achievement need to do 80 matches, it’s understandable that they’re trying to do it in the least amount of time. I’m sure people don’t want 12 minute matches where it’d take 16 hours to complete the achievement.

I played all day today, kept an eye on the achievement and they all count.

That’s great for you, but other players are making other experiences, as you can see above.

Do survivors get points other than the ones they get at regular intervals?

Edit: Just checked and they do. I also saw the flowing on the wiki:

You don’t need to make any kills in order to gain credit for participation. You must however use a means to interact with the enemy side to gain the Chest or Splendid Chest. The total points are not relevant to any acquired Chests or Trick-or-Treat Bags.

Is this accurate?

I see posts from a year ago. Pin the achievement to your watch list and get a win as a villager.

That is EXACTLY what I did last night. I played 8 games. Several of them I won as a villager. My count is at 4/8. My achievement is pinned to the UI.

Any more suggestions?
