Stat Combos
There are alot of missing Stat Combos.
Something I’d like to see is:
Currently the game has only just 1 single Stat Combo with Boon Duration in it, this must get changed!
Power, Vitality, Boon Duration -> prefix – Blessed
Power, Precision, Boon Duration -> prefix – Enchanted
Boon Duration, Power, Vitality -> prefix – Sanctified
Boon Duration, Power, Precision > prefix – Radiant
Condition, Toughness, Boon Duration -> prefix – Cursed
Condition, Precision, Boon Duration -> prefix – Malicious
---
Condition, Condition Duration, Vitality (here just the question, why do we have yet nothing, that increases Condition Duration ,but we have Stat Combo with Boon Duration???) -> prefix – Sanguinary

Just to name some examples, maybe you like some of them …
Assassins trinkets
Opal Trinkets already are in the game. However, they still carry the Explorer suffix instead of Assassins.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Condition, Condition Duration, Vitality (here just the question, why do we have yet nothing, that increases Condition Duration ,but we have Stat Combo with Boon Duration???) -> prefix – Sanguinary
We do- The ’Giver’s’ prefix gives Condi Duration-Precision-Vitality. Only available on weapons, though, and no ascended varieties.
I would like to see
-(minor) Precision
-(major) Toughness
-(minor) Vitality
It would also be nice if you added Dire stats into ascended items/trinkets, the closest we have right now is
-(Major) Condition Dmg
-(Very Minor) Precision
-(Minor) Toughness
-(Minor) Vitality
If you could make the ascended version

Some stat combos with 4 stats distributed instead of 3
Note: total stat count should still be equal to 3-stat combos.This benefits professions that rely on more stats the most, like the elementalist or the guardian, who generally want to have healing power or vitality in addition to their other specializations. This is especially important when moving those combos to pvp’s amulets, and even more so now that jewels are being removed.
- (Main) Power – (very minor) Toughness, Vitality, Healing Power;

More stat combos that enhance support or control builds
Note: unfortunately, there are not many stats that support those roles…

Also, I would love to see more gear that encourages people to play hybrid builds.

I greatly appreciated the recent Zealot’s gear addition (though perhaps not the cheapest to craft.). The above are also squishy, but give interesting opportunities to power/condition hybrids, as there are quite a few Professions that would benefit, at least theoretically. More than with Rampager’s, at least. Especially with critical damage being reduced, those two combos would make sense to me (some precision never hurts, even with low critical damage.)
The "tanky" stat combos are already abundant enough, though in the end, I wouldn’t mind more gear variety of any sort.
Ascended also need to be updated with a few of the classic combos that were never added as a main (Carrion, Valkyrie). Exotic versions of some of the Ascended only combos would also make sense to me.
I would like to see stats combo that aren’t 2 specific values (main stats and 2 other stats) like we have now but random numbers that have the same total (within a margin or low/high for balance).
This would make more build variety and would make finding new gear interesting again.
I feel right now the game is “too” balance, therefore everyone has the same gear for the same classes, etc.

Isaiah, just go to D3 ROS and explore stat combos and particularly stat combo changes brought about by ROS. There should be ample info on what people mean by relevant stat combos.

I was hoping that a thread would come out about this topic, so people will stop going crazy about the PvP amulet change D=.
Izzy: like someone mentioned, are Boon and Condition duration on the table for main stats? Or even for possibilities on new PvP amulets?

These could bring some interesting variety to play styles
Assign one of the tier 6 crafting materials to each individual stat, then let us craft items with anywhere from 3 to all (celestial) stats by using 2 tier 6 materials per stat option.
this means we could craft any of the 3-stat combos as they are presently, or we could craft items with 4 stats or 5 or 6 stats with the points all evenly distributed.
Examples:
- Berserker items have power, precision, ferocity and would require 2 vials of blood, 2 fangs, and 2 other materials to craft.
- A stat combo of power, precision, ferocity, and toughness would also require 2 mats per stat.
- Same with a combo of precision, condition damage, healing power, condition duration, and toughness.
TL;DR: give us complete freedom in choosing our stat combinations and how many different stats we have.

Maybe this is too off-topic, but I’d like the ability to create stat combos in the game.
For example, it might be linked to crafting and would likely be more expensive, but I’d like to be able to say, I want this major stat and these minor stats..
So, If I play a Guardian that is very condition based with a decent amount of support, I could say I want
Condition Damage/Healing Power/Boon Duration
and just build it in the game.
That said, I understand this may not be possible. In which case, I would still like to see that particular stat combo.

I agree with this. Well, at least the select your own stats concept.
Until the zerker meta is fixed I don’t see much point in working on this content. Now, if you made boons, control conditions and/or endurance scale with healing/vitality/toughness now we’re talking.

I’d like to see an increase in the number of affected attributes by rarity. example below.
*basic- 3 attributes
*fine- 3 attributes
*masterwork- 4 attributes
*rare- 4 attributes
*exotic- 5 attributes
*ascended- 5 attributes
*legendary- 5 ascended level attributes that are interchangeable
221 hours over 1,581 days of bank space/hot pve/lion’s arch afk and some wvw.
I’d rather see uniform prices for lv80 exotics. Currently there shouldn’t be any combination of stats that are much more harder to acquire than others.

Precision, Vitality, and anything else if there must be a third. I love those two stats and they’re (almost?) never together on one piece.
Looking in terms of PvP, Amulets with 4 stat combinations. Especially one with Power primary and Condtion as either secondary or tertiary.

wordsI had a thought here. The stat ratios for gear at the moment are something like 4/3/3; for every 4 of the primary stat, there are 3 of each secondary stat.
What if there were stat spreads which had 4 stats, all of which match the secondaries on a 3-stat piece of gear? So, say, an ascended quality chestpiece might look like:
+76 Power
+76 Condition Damage
+76 Precision
+76 FerocityKind of a halfway point between Celestial and a standard set of gear.
I really like this idea.

Celesital-like stats except focused on certain things like damage-dealing or healing. As in, all of the stats would provide the same +10 or whatever bonus but be focused in certain areas as to create more focused kinds of balanced stats.
This would be really nice. Something like ’Defender’s’ being balanced between Vitality, Toughness, Healing Power and Boon Duration, and ’Slayer’s’ being balanced between Power, Precision, Crit Damage and Condition Damage/Duration.
Also interesting, let people with crafting create account-bound exotic/ascended gear with an arbitrary 3-stat combo. For example make inscriptions/insignias from 1 raw material, and then 3 different T6 mats. Then you can just look at the stats on what people build and make some of them into droppable items.

Even as a non-strict min/maxer, I do find Rampager’s lacking for the type of builds I want to create for some of my characters. It’s good at times, but just imagine the potential of the suggested two Power-Condition/Condition-Power stat options. Hybrids just become more powerful and attractive, even though Berserker’s will still do more direct damage.
How about all of them? Select the primary stat, then select the secondary and tertiary stats (no duplicates, of course). Sure, this would change crafting and ascended boxes a lot… but it’s a lot better than receiving a couple of nearly useless stat combos every year.
This is what they should have done in the first place imo instead of having this over-saturation of stat combos: just make each piece have a single fixed primary stat and you pick your secondary stats when you soulbind/accountbind it.
From an elementalist’s perspective, I’d like to see the following:
Combinations with 4 stats that include vitality, healing power, and toughness:
1. Power [primary], Vitality, Healing Power, Toughness [minors]
2. Condition Damage [primary], Vitality, Healing Power, Toughness [minors]
Combinations that balance 5 stats equally:
