[Suggestions] Gemstore Items
It’s too bad you can’t buy bug fixes on the gem shop.
Hello , "NCSOFT "
I would like to see the same items tickets everything comeback. Put out in a chest of luck but a slim chance to get it , I also want to see the Mining Pick ,Sickle as the same time like you just had a week ago I can’t wait for the Axe (Soon to come ) , Lost the chance to buy the (Mining Pick ) Hopefully it comes back I can wait ! , Glowing Skins and Armor ..
“Who’s with me on this question” (?) !!
I want Isaiah Cartwright as a Mini please
I want to buy expansions to my collection tab – buy a bundle that adds collection tab spaces for the various embellished jewels for example. Another bundle that lets me store all the dowels I make working on weapons. Any intermediate component that is not used directly (and my there are a bunch of them for cooking) would be specialized storage & convenience I’d be willing to pay for.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”
- Jareth, King of Goblins.
Definitely add all three unlimited use tools as permanent items in the BLTC. I understand that they arose from a specific event, however, they really should be immortalized in the store. They are basically convenience items for players and profit for Anet. Convenience and profit should really not be temporary in the game.
But selling through fear of missed opportunities… that’s immortal.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”
- Jareth, King of Goblins.
If you’ve seen reddit’s preview to new items, they posted finishers, kites, flutes…
They DO listen
I’m usually typing on my phone
Well apparently they take this thread very seriously. 2 suggestions from here have just appeared in the .dat files.
As a side note, I would pay for some of these suggestions NOT to be implemented. Anyone that is suggesting exclusive gem store content and P2W upgrades should never be listened to under any circumstances, and I would buy a gemstore item that insured this is necessary.
I’d like to have:
Armor sets
Dyes w/o RNG, dyes with different patterns
Kasmeers hairstyle
Animation replacers (combat, casting etc)
Permanent Hairstyle Changing Contract – This should be available in the gem store
I got an idea for a backpiece transmutation stone. I have seen some awsome backpiece skinns on gw2 and so far at each release there has been added a new back piece skin . Just like a bag slot expansion you buy with gems and you get slots to put extra bags. But on this slot you will be able to put a back piece skin like holografic wings and roxs quiver and you may change
your back piece as you please. There are alot of cool backpieces out there and i want them all. but its a horror that i got the awsome flower and tentacle bacpieces on my bank and i cant use them each the transmutation stone could cost like 800gems and if you want to expand your collection that would cost you onother 200. and only the apperance will change not the stats

Oh? Which 2 suggestions?
Definitely would like to see a transmutation stone that can combine diferent armor types. ie: make my light armor look like heavy armor. Spellsword anyone? :D
Also would love to see Amethyst Shield make it in game… I miss mine. :c
More armor skins and I think we should have some more weapon skins without buying rng boxes.
That would make me happy :p

i would love to see
1. pet skins(rainbow phoenix)
2. costumes(not town clothing which i will never use)
3. weapons from gw1(emerald blade, amethyst shield, working voltaic spear, etc etc)
A crystal or gem that would make a soulbound gem-store bought item, account bound once.
IE: I bought the mining pick on the wrong toon and accidentally equipped it. Didn’t even think about it, (I’m senile sometimes). Wound up realizing the mistake, deleted the toon but kept the pick.

Account bound permanent PvP/WvW finishers
Flutes
Also Kites, but I don’t think I saw that suggestion here.
Pretty armor, pretty costumes, pretty new hairstyles – and kitten weapon skins. My mesmer demands it.
The Permanent Hair Style Contract. I need it mostly to change the color of the accessory some of the hairstyles have so it will look good with my character’s current armor.
NPC’s clothes as armor skins. I would kill for Demmi Beetlestone’s skirt for my human mesmer. More cultural armor skins would be awesome, too.
Town clothes that are not obviously directed towards humans only. Seriously, we need cultural town clothes. I get it, human is the most popular race, but it is not the ONLY race. Leafy town clothes for the sylvari and spirit themed town clothes for the norn, for example, would be a great addition to the Gem Store IMO.
Astrid Strongheart, Norn Ranger.
“I wish juvenile wolves were bigger”

I’ve always wanted the outfits that some of the norn shaman and havroun wear. Y’know, the ones with the hats of their ‘totem’ animal? I’d kill for somethin’ like that.
Also, I’d LOVE to see ‘racial’ turrets and kits for engineers (even if it’d be PVE-only). I mean, the main reason I’ve yet to roll an asuran engie is because I love turret builds, but the clunky, metal things look so out of place for an asura, and we’ve already got asuran turret models in the game.

+1 for this idea, I’d pay for that as well.

Dreams
Fairy wings, angel wings, fairy flower crowns (not as townclothing).
Also, not sure if it’s possible because of how small the models are but female versions for the asuran armor would be cool.
Can we PLEASE get the halo back, as armor and not towns clothes. I wore that one constantly. Many people loved it.
My Ritualist wearing her halo in Guild Wars 1.
A utility that can make us talk with people across the world while lvling, since it gets so quiet allover the worldmap, but then we get to lion’s arch and there’s many people talking .. it’s just sad, i want to be able to talk with those ppl too while i lvl or do other stuff that is not in lion’s arch. you can make it like monthly fee to access that chat tab or something like that.
More hair and face options for the character selections (can add that to total makeover kit)
More bank tabs

If a Factions Expansion releases, I would LOVE to have a set of Zodiac weapons!

I would absolutely love to see the chaos axe from gw1 back in this game. I dont even have a character that could use one, but they were too dang cool to leave out. In general though, some more armor/weapon skins are always welcome.
Also, I think different finishers would be something I’d consider spending money on – it would be very interesting if you guys made something that was class specific or some that were fairly comical.
[edit] I saw someone mention cloaks – i like this idea, you could add it as a backpiece make it into a cape/cloak to make our characters more regal looking instead of some child off to school with a plush backpack. If you do though, make sure you let us dye it!!

Trading Post related:
Previews for mini pets such as those being sold on the tp or added to the collection inventory would be great. I very much enjoy the other preview options and this would be a welcome addition to that. It might even lead to an increase in gem based mini sales if people could see what they were going to get before buying.
Interactive town pets. More than a mini, it’s a little friend! Parrot for your shoulder to complete that pirate ensemble? It could have interactive options say a few different things as well as randomly repeat overheard npc dialogue. “But it’s a fine day for drinking it!” A dog that does tricks. A fancy cat. Of course it wouldn’t be moral to keep a little trained quaggan as a pet would it…
Jester outfit armor skin! I had hoped this would be something on the tp for April Fool’s day, I think they were costumes during the Mad King Halloween, though rare and account bound from the tp chests?
More musical instruments like the horn and bell. Maybe even race inspired. Steam powered bagpipes for Charr with jets of flame. An Asuran holographic “keytaur”. (with laser light show option? heh) A Norn Shaman drum with sound additional sound effects such as a raven caw, wolf howl, leopard scream, bear roar, owl hoot. A Sylvari inspired flute with vine/flower motif that looks very organic. A human violin or double bass. Each instrument could have an autoplay option for those of us who like music but lack the talent of others. For example, the dragon bash Marriner’s horn could play the dragon bash song on autoplay, and even light up the appropriate notes so one could learn to free play it in time. (This could open up the idea of sheet music as an aid or autoplay option for music from the game)
An interactive busker hat which can be set down by a player. Other players can interact with and drop money into the hat. The money could be directly deposited into the player’s bank or personal inventory. Local taxes to the income earned as a busker could even apply. Lion’s Arch and capital city locations could have a higher tax rate. Would be a fun way to show interactive appreciation to those talented in game musicians.
One thing that was disappointing was the recipe for the Dragon’s revelry starcake being account bound. If a recipe is going to be acct bound, at least make it for sale not part of a random generated system. I really have the worst luck with those and will likely never invest in anything that involves spending way too much for a ‘chance’ of getting something. This is why I will never invest in chests for tickets or anything else, no matter how much I might like it I remember how every time I end up with nothing and spent too much for it. (I learned my lesson on random mini packs hoping for a jack-a-lop.)
Legendary related:
More legendary weapon options. Some could even be more profession specific such as an elemental staff that changes appearance based on attunement.
The option to pick, from a list, what sort of statistics your legendary weapon would have when forging it rather than the static statistics now. For what is involved in creating one, it would be nice to have that option.
What has thus far prevented me from making a legendary is the precursor aspect. Everything else about this can be acquired in time, but the precursor relies on luck or making enough gold to buy one. I’m not really interested in farming the gold or resources to make a legendary with the current options and I have yet to find a precursor.
In addition to creating more legendary weapon options it would be nice to have the ability to make a precursor, even if this was an equally involved process it would be an assured one.
Karma related:
The option to buy lodestones or other high end crafting materials for karma. Again I don’t enjoy farming for the end result of getting 100 of item X or farming the gold to buy them. I do get a fair bit of karma but the random generation of orrian boxes has given a laughable return and more risen priest minis than I have characters. Even if those lodestones were account bound or very high priced, I would love the option of being able to buy the lodestones I want (so I can craft that fancy weapon for my pc) with karma.
Race changes isn’t really applicable, because it mess’s with your personal story.
I saw someone else mention it, but not quite like this. Bring back capes! The first Ascended back piece that is guild oriented! The only reason I can think capes where left out in GW2 is people where joining guilds based off of caps, and guild with bronze, silver, and gold trim on there caps where selling guild spots to people.
A quiver fits medium armor class’s, and books go well with casters. Warriors, and Guardians it’s a little off. I know a book can fit a Guard, and a quiver can fit a War, but it doesn’t feel right on my warrior running around with a quiver when I’m using sword/shield & rifle.
If not capes then maybe a scabbard, or 3 swords on my back like the hero Anton (Which incidentally I found ironic considering one of the things he used to say is “Why do Assassins use two daggers? Because they only have two hands.”).

A item that has infinite uses to reset your traits.
Alternatives to RNG box exclusives:
If a Factions Expansion releases, I would LOVE to have a set of Zodiac weapons!
Are you referring to the Celestial weapons? http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Gallery_of_Celestial_weapons
I had an ax and a shield on my warrior. That would be a sweet skin to buy.
I would also like to see swimsuit skins for armor. Also more glasses like the ones you could get from Asura faction: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Common_armor#Headgear I don’t care for the ones that are exclusive to town clothes only, it would be great to have some that could be transmuted to armor.
More minis of course. A katana of some sort is a must for many people.
More armor that looks appropriate to humanoid Mesmers, such as the dresses the NPC’s wear.
I want Isaiah Cartwright as a Mini please
I could imagine a little michelin man running around.
I would buy a chef hat helmet skin.
Did we say weapon dyes? If I could make red fire green, or blue that would be really cool. But just being able to dye weapon colors in general would be great.
a “premium” account upgrade that gives u ZERO DR and increased monies!and a quaggan costume would do good too
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Warrior_Elite_Kurzick_armor
Looked awesome in GW 1 would look amazingly awesome in GW2

Even the bare bones starter armor in Elona had this lovely embossing pattern on it.
tunics (sir coats with various coats of arms to choose) like t3 cultural armour for humans
I would like to have the kids of each race available as minis.
I want a cub for my Charr, and I can imagine roleplayers would love the ability to have a child of their race. Though there wouldn’t be one for Sylvari.
This would be cool for home instance and housing. Leave the kids at home
Just as a small desire, what about a race change contract?
If a user uses that contract, he/she will change the race, and begin the personal story from the beginning? I’m sure there are some people who regret not doing Asura or Charr or Human because of their cultural armor looks and so on…
-Many more town clothes that look like real clothes people would wear, culturally themed would be a bonus (but not race-restricted — who says a human wouldn’t want a leafy outfit made of silk? As the races get along better, there will be cross-cultural influences in clothing, theater, food, everything).
-More hairstyles (preferably added to the makeover kits). Sylvari need cascades of blossoms, for one thing.
-More emotes and dance moves (I’d like these in the base game, not to Gem Store buy, but I’m willing to pay if it’s the only way). Perhaps an Invitation to the Dance item that you can use to go into waltz mode and pair up for ballroom elegance (once it’s figured out how to mix and match all the races when doing so).
-Musical instruments. They needn’t be like the bells and horns. They could be Costume Brawl items that send out visible music stakitten full of notes, maybe wrapping around opponents for brawl points. Playable instruments are grand but used more for griefing than entertaining Plus I have zero musical talent so I can’t properly use the horn other than blindly tapping a series of numbers as directed by others.
-Along those lines, a communal music box. Like the box o’ fun only it makes a bandstand and people can take up individual spots in it to play tunes. Maybe with guides as in the Wintersday game that made tunes.
-Decorative items for personal houses (personal houses must exist first, of course). While many such things should be craftable and tradeable, supplementing it with interesting furniture, rugs, paintings, appliances, etc. seems very Gem Shoppy.
-Permanent unlimited gathering items. I’ve got one of each on my main, and a sickle on a sylvari alt that really needed that enthusiastic upswing animation. I’m not spending 30 bucks per alt over 9 alts to get the full set for them all, though, not all at once. Later on I might slowly pick the functionality up over time.
-Bigger bags. My human necro has most of the cloth outfits out there. And only 9 open bag slots as a result. I’d rather spend cash than game money on expanding her storage, as I have more real money to spare. I suppose I can just buy gold with gems, as I have done a time or two, but a decade of despising gold sellers has given me a deep aversion to buying game money even though it’s perfectly acceptable in GW2.
I do agree with this topic’s OP and many constructive comment.
(even if I posted these already to Arenanet when the game launched)
GW1 weapon skins: Sell us tickets, spawning a merchant, and we can exchange that ticked. Like at Fused Gauntlets.
This mechanism would work in a lot of situation, I’m happy for this idea.
We’ll even have a new set of skins on July 9’s patch – as AP based unlocks.
The temporary skins are a good idea, but just for some case.
Please have a look at “[iR] Redesigns – Main Discussions” thread
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/iR-Redesigns-Main-Discussions
There are separated topics for different parts. You’ll see some nice idea there.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
Unlimited Salvage Kit.
The molten alliance pick, or some other named infinite pick
Maybe it sounds dumb for some but I would like too purchase something that increases XP more then just monster skill XP. Like maybe for 1 hour all events give 50% more exp ? since I like too make almost every class max lvl and after having lvl’d up 3 of them too 80 I have seen all of it allready.

Aviators cap i can wear in battle for my engineer please (* ‘-’)
1. A revised version of the Ravenheart costume from the first Guild Wars. It’s the whole elegant design that I miss. Something more stylish and not so chaotic with all that bone and spike stuff all over the place (like what you designed for our first Halloween here in GW2). D;
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ravenheart_Witchwear
2. Simple face cosmetics, such as changing lip colors or adding eye shadows to characters that normally don’t get such options.
Here’s a cool idea:
3. SPELL BOOKS! That’s right, just like the new dance move books, except strictly based on casting spells for fun!
For example, you buy your first spell book which consist of 5 different spells you can cast. All of which have cool effects and animations that last for a few seconds to entertain you and your friends.
Skill #1: Summon an undead skeleton that crawls out of the ground and runs around, terrorizing all who surround it. It’ll shout, have cool animations etc. Then it disappears – crawling back into the ground.
Skill #2: Cast an illusive dragon that flies around your character, leaving a trail of magical wonder. Then watch as it explodes above your head!
Cool stuff like that. ;3

I’d like a cigar head armor skin with a smoke effect for my short fat norn to sport.
I would like bikinis and dye-able underwear. (Seriously)
