An item that removes the upgrade from a weapon or armor piece without destroying either. There are times I want to move a rune from one armor set to another, a sigil from one wep to another, or an infusion from one character to another.

This item should not result in the upgrade item being character-bound. Worst case the upgrades would remain account bound, preferably no binding at all above the default binding for the upgrade item.

I would be willing to pay up to 100 gems per use for such an item, but I wouldn’t pay more. Something like 400 gems for a 5-use special salvage kit… maybe this:

Footsteps. Fiery ones! ….but no seriously footsteps. Real Angel wings would also be nice, like the bows feathers are, not this stunted version current out there.

A tool that removes the soulbinding of a weapon so we can sell already created weapons, just like we could for free in GW1! I’d pay 800 gems for it…

Just to be clear my request will not modify the binding of gear. It maintains the binding on the “upgrade” items like runes, sigils, gems (orbs), and infusions. Those don’t have bindings except for the infusions (which I requested those remain account bound with the use of the proposed item).

I would use such a product in two ways:

1. Remove expensive runes from karma armor (which cannot be salvaged by a BLSK)
2. Move infusions from an ALT I’m no longer playing, to a new ALT that I am playing

Oh and unless there’s a flying expansion, lets do with fewer wings. Much as I like the ones you’ve put in game, the flapping in place just gets old…and makes me miss Aion’s flying system. (jumping off a high area and gliding down is friggin amazing and if you want to give the wings that capacity, it would look a lot cooler than currently, where my wings flap helplessly whilest I plummet to my doom).

What I would love to see and buy is a way to challenge people to a duel in pve. I know people can duel each other in spvp, but dueling outside of spvp would be more instant, spontaneous, and fun. Sure it wouldn’t be fair in some cases because of pve gear, but if people care about that they can still use spvp. Also spvp dueling wouldn’t make Anet as much money from a business standpoint.

Dueling could function similar to the “how to dance” book. Whoever owns the book can challenge others to a duel, to which they have the choice to accept. Personally, I would gladly pay 1000 gems or more for this, and I’m willing to bet others would as well. Some new features might need to be implemented for this though…
-Option to auto deny challenges found in game options
-Players lower than 80 are up-leveled, same as wvw currently
-Remove ability to kill a downed player, so as to maintain duels as honor fights

I think I’ve heard it said by Anet that adding dueling to pve would be immersion breaking. I argue that it would not break immersion more than everyone busting out a dance using “how to dance” or players enjoying the costume brawls and boxing gloves. In fact it is more immersive because of the games focus on combat.

TL;DR- Adding to the gemstore a “How to Duel” book, similar to the “How to dance” book, would be fun and make Anet money.

I second this for all TP skins.

1. More culturally diverse armors, lol! i.e. Canthan/Elonian design themes. Since Kryta has such a diverse populace culturally thanks to ample refugees from both Elona and Cantha, this would only make sense.
2. More nostalgia armors, like the Krytan set already in the store. So many to pick from. Istani, Canthan, Drakescale, Druid, Sunspear… I still think Elite Sunspear should replace the current Flamekissed design. Since it isn’t all that different from the current Flamekissed design and it was highly popular in Guild Wars.
3. More armors for medium class that ARE NOT trench coats and pants, for pete’s sake! (Not even just in the gemstore, but in general. They’re ALL trench coats and pants practically!) >.<

how about cool animations in some of the expensive but not legendary exotics like the “volcanus.”

it surely wouldn’t hurt if anet would put some awesome flaming animations on skills when wielding the volc (or any other type of weapon that has elemental animations ). like when using a guardian skill (whirling wrath) instead of those blue projectiles, how about flaming projectiles?

It’s not necessarily lore breaking in that Elonians likely fled to Kryta during Palawa Joko’s seizing of power in Elona. As well as the apparently harsh dictatorship that overtook Cantha, many Canthans likely fled to Kryta as well. If anything, we should actually be seeing far more cultural diversity within the armors already in the game. Considering that , thus the rich mixture of cultural diversity within Kryta’s various peoples. I’ve placed just a handful of examples of some of the GW’s greats. All female, unfortunately in this case, but you get the idea.

Something I’d also like to see, a return of the classic Guild Wars profession dances. They were all amazing, and were so because they were directly derived from actual dances from real life artists! Please don’t let them die! You guys could pack them like you did the “How to Dance, Vol 1”. Maybe in a “Old Dusty Dance Tome” or something, lol.

I want to see a Home Instance Portal Stone. It would work exactly like the Hall of Monuments Portal Stone but take us to our home. This would allow us to have easier access to our Home Instance. I never remember to go to my home instance because I am never in any of the cities. I would be willing to pay gems for the convenience of this feature!

My elementalist wants some high heels. The only decent set is the Winged boots, but she wants some that are more like the Watchnights’ heels. She wants to look dressed up.

-Magic Flying Carpet similar to the flying broom “mount.” Maybe an oversized sombero.

-Itemized microtransactions instead of RNG packs/crates.

I would like to suggest a Dye Palette. Priced at around 1200 gems (tentative), this will be an account bound or soulbound consumable that unlocks all new dyes of a kit for you, instead of giving you a random chance at one hidden in a pool of lower quality dyes.

The normal dye kit with its random chance can still exist alongside this palette, so the dyes can still be sold at the TP during the sale or after it has ended and the kits have vanished into the mists.

I believe that having these special dyes hidden behind the rng, will only hurt ArenaNet in the end (some would say the same about the Black Lion chests and the miniatures). I hate the Random Number God with a passion, and I believe it’s likewise, since I never get anything I want from him. I spent some money on getting these dyes last night, but it only gave me several cheap rares that I already had unlocked. This made me feel cheated and unwilling to spend more in the future.

As an example, the F2P game Warframe also has colour customization for their Warframes. Players can buy colour palettes from the store with platinum, and all colours in the pack will be unlocked by that.

Lastly, I am quite willing to spend actual money on the item store, but only if I am guaranteed to get the thing I am paying for.

id pay 800+ gems for more emotes… possibly all the ones in GW1.

More Female Type heavy shoes… The phalenx was in the right direction with how heavy female shoes should be… however they rise way too high.
If it cut off at the knee it would look much better with the outfit.

It doesnt break the game, it doesnt do anything cuz its pure aesthetics.
I would love more attire in this game… possibly from your other game Aion.
I and many would not even complain if you guys straight up stole some of the outfits from AION and brought it here.

I am also sure you guys would sell a LOT more AION type costumes then anything else u have sold in the gem store up til now, and would not waste man power on redesigning. IT would be straight programing to bring the palate over from AION to us.

Infact im sure it would be a months best seller if u guys did bring out AION costumes to this game.

Lastly.. i would love a mounted steed which gave u 33% swiftness all the time.
However the mounted steed would leave the moment u entered combat.

The steed can be part of town clothes… but allows us to move from one poi to anther much faster when out of combat.

You could even use it as a gold sink, by allowing us to purchase a mounted steed each zone which lasts 12 hours.

There are so many ways you guys can improve the gold sinks in this game, and the gem store if you guys would listen to half the things we ask.

I would love for these special RNG dyes to be account wide. I am willing to get them if that is the case. But as it stand either RNG or paying 50+ gold for most of them on each toon is no viable. Perhaps that is the point but I rather enjoying changing the colors on my character often and it stinks to not be able to share many of the dyes.

The ability to ride a golem like Taimi.

This has been suggested before, but I don’t know if it was suggested a gem purchase and I doubt its possible to pull of easily but nonetheless.. unique customizations for ranger pets on gem store would be awesome. Ie. items that would add a visual armor plating of some type to certain ranger pets that could be dyed, or enabling tweaking the pet colors itself with dyes would be neat.

The other thing is.. keep up the fashion options. Medium armor needs more hoods like the thief subterfuge hood for the other medium armor classes that don’t come with ugly face masks. Also much more needs to be done in the way of escaping the infinite gravity of the trench coat black hole on medium armor. More medium options with shiny armor padding but less dangly coats and anything with a technological look is quite cool. I’ll happily pay to have my character look unique AND good.

Not sure if this has been suggested but I would like to see some more face paint/makeup options released in the store which we can customize. Particularly some Rococo inspired makeup for my Mesmer I’d jump on that kitten.

Also, and I’m pretty sure this has been mentioned, some new unique casting/skill use animations. I miss the fanciful casting animations that the Mesmer had from GW1 and even some animations akin to the Ritualist would be nice.

Instant level 80. After getting 3 level 80’s i really have no desire to go into the maps again apart from doing WvW.

I think “Personality Packs” would be great. I get pretty in-depth making my characters. I kinda make-up back-stories and everything. Everything from their look to their name is cohesive, in my mind at least. Sadly, I have no control over the most important thing of all, in a game that shows my character interacting with others with voice-work, PERSONALITY! I know there’s the built in dignity, ferocity, and charm aspect, but I would like to choice a personality from the character creation onset. I would want a personality pack to provide a full blown personality option for any kind of character. This would include both mannerisms in dialogue, stylized dialogue, and a fitting voice.
For example: I made my male Asura engineer to be kinda kooky looking and his name is Tinker Gizmo. I envision him as a engineering genius in a cooky, unstable, twitchy sort of way. So I would love an option like “Crazy Personality” where his eyes would kinda go buggy and twitchy when talking and he would go off-tangents in discussion and his voice would sound well….like a cooky asura’s would (versus regal like they sound now). I also want a true “Ferocious” personality where my character actually shows anger, yells, and almost pushes the boundaries of “good”. I made my female Sylvari elementalist named Ignacia Bloom. I envisioned her to be basically ‘consumed’ by fire and very hot tempered, but the dialogue prompts and scenes just don’t convey that in any way. While I don’t mind the voice for the female Sylvari in this particular case, I just want her Personality to be different.
Another aspect that can be changed depending on the personality you’ve given your character, outside of voice and talking style, could be the emotes. If a character has a “Crazy/Maniacal” personality then they could have a goofy/maniacal /laugh /threaten, /dance, etc.
I know this would be quite a bit of work with both voice-overs and animations, but it would be something I’d spend money on very quickly to make my character that much more ‘unique’ to me.

Edit* – oh and another thing I thought of that could be ‘improved’ through a personality pack could be new idle standing animations. The animations your character does after standing still for so long. There’s lots of stuff you can do there to ‘show off’ your character’s personality in a way that OTHER people see too!

Edit 2* – This would be a feature that would be available at character creation, so it would work for any future characters you make. There could also be a one-time-use pack, like a make-over kit, to apply to an existing character. The account wide one would be quite a bit more expensive of course.

The items I see/hear/would like to see a return off would be Rox’s quiver and Grenth hood. The grenth hood was one of things I was meaning to get, but didn’t anticipate them removing so soon. For small appearance sake only items I don’t mind buying gems and supporting the gems tore revenue’s. Like many people I may have some bug bear’s about in game stuff, but ultimately I want to see a-net earn and succeed financially for many years to come.

I would love to see a Shrinking Potion in the gem store. Possibly buyable in either stacks, or a more expensive endless Shrinking Potion. It would just be a “for fun” item, but it would also have a use in jumping puzzles for the bigger races.

Permanent Royal Pass (aka Royal Terrace Pass). Btw, guys form Anet can make some kind of Terrace in other major cities and sell passes there.
