I just started playing in december and didn’t really have any idea what the gem store was or what to buy.
IF I would have known, I would totally have bought the Grenth Hood-skin. So this is what I would want to see in the store!

a lower price on self-style hair kit, it should be 100gems max.
all you can do is change hair and beard styles, that’s hardly worth 250 gems.

More armors, more weapons i cant imagine what else……..

That, or a permanent hair stylist for 2000 gems. Unbelievable that it goes for the price of a Legendary on the TP. I see no reason for such a basic service to be exclusive.

And on that note, I think we need a few more permanent, unlockable options.

- Extra Equipment pages. (600-800 gems each). Exactly what it sounds like, separate pages that would allow a character to have multiple armour, weapon and trinket sets equipped and swap between them when out of combat. One page for your WvW gear, another for the Dungeon set, and so on. It would also provide a nice bonus of allowing greater cosmetic freedom since the armour and weapons would be transmuted separately.

- Trait templates. (300-400 gems) These would go nicely along with the alternate equipment sets. Allows players to name and save each trait set up, and switch between ’em when out of combat.

- A mini slot. (150-250 gems). There’s so many of these kitten ed things, and even a title dedicated to collectors, but absolutely no proper system for managing them. This slot would fix that. Equip your miniature in it, and check a box whether you want it ‘auto summoned’ or not.

I would buy something that allowed me to have a choice of all my dyes when picking a color for a hair accessory…my Asura Guardian wants pink ribbons in her hair.

I would also pay extra to have a pink color added to the hair color choices..the pink we already have in the original color sets looks purple to me, and the pink in the new colors is too loud. I am talking about a nice pastel pink. We have light blue hair and light purple hair, and the male asura can have green streaks, so why not add a light /pastel pink ? Anet, you know you want to

And…grin…I would like to buy a needle and thread so I can sew up the hole in the back of my male human’s chef outfit

More Armors/Weapons BUT!! with D&D Style, not glowy-shiny-bulky things like most of the BL things are…

Well since they haven’t added the code for the LOTRO style musical playback and syncronization system I’d say they’ll probably add many more instruments when this system is released (at least I haven’t noticed if it’s been released, I don’t believe it has been).

Agree with you there, there seems to be a real shortage of skins especially backpacks in this title. I’d love to see lots lots more job backpacks added to the game store or not like the ones LOTRO/FF for the various Jobs of the NPCs cartographer, hunter, miner. To me this would add such a great look, but I think they’ll have to add to the wardrobe/transmog function to do this properly and allow people to change the dyes on their packs.

Dueling Flag

Not my idea but fully support as it will not promote “harassment” or “hinder” the anti dueling PvE community.

Similar to finishers I would like to see a variety of this item w/unlimited uses.

I would add unlimited uses of course, and possible like I mentioned above similar to the Representation Buttons of Cutthroat Politics as notification as someone w/said item and open to duels.

For those that were not playing at the time it would look like this (see below pic), but instead of a face possibly a picture of a flag.

Okay. If you can get enough people to agree with that, then it’s a start. Now, what are the details?

Where does it work, and where does it not work? Main world? Racial Cities? WvWvW? Orr?

Anywhere & everywhere except spvp, WvW, dungeons, instances, Major hubs (Vigil Keep), Race Cities

Are players immune to outside damage during the duel? NPC damage? Falling damage? Can they hurt NPCs while dueling?

No immunity from any outside environment or fall damage, if a player chooses to harass said duelers let it be., it happens no biggie. Some Fight clubs will enjoy the thrill of playing on a peak or bridge Deathmatch style so fall damage included.

Do you stay where you are and duel, or are you moved to a special area? How about an instance of the area you’re in? Can the people around you still see you? Can they avoid seeing you?

All to view, no special instance. Don’t want to see? Turn away. The community projects (Fight clubs) would lesson or be non existent if phased or instanced.

How much of an area do you get to move around in before you’ve “run away” and forfeit the duel? How long will each duel last? Is there a way to quickly end a duel without waiting for the other person to beat you up while you stand there, if you need to exit quickly?

Area of duel 800-1000 range, better suited for Anet to figure that out. Yes exiting the duel will give you a few second countdown to forfeiting the duel. Duel would last til one player has one hit point left. Leave the range of the duel to exit duel quickly.

People have mentioned possible tournaments with this, how much will you need put into the system as part of dueling to make that work? Do you want something that shows recent wins/losses? A title or indicator for wining X number of duels in a row? And have it taken away when you lose one?

Let all tourneys and events be created by the dueling community, and achievements or titles could be easily attained by cooperation, so this would be Anet call to implement it.

Does it count as a loss if you go linkdead during a duel? Does it count as a win if the other person does? Is there a cooldown before you can rechallenge someone? Would such a cooldown change depending on if you won or lost?

I would prefer a notification in chat for Winner w/a certain range. No cooldown on duel requests.

Do you scale up nearby events if you’re dueling? If you’ve taken part in an event that isn’t complete yet, do you forfeit your event rewards if the event is completed while you’re dueling? Can either of these be used as an exploit, and if so how do you prevent that?

I hardly think this would matter, dueling clubs will not want to bother fighting below Tequatl’s head or in Maws AoE. To further this thought gatherers, RP’s, travelers, champ farmers have hardly been much of an issue in this area either.

in before the release of the Chaos Axe I say it’s the next Legendary Axe and we need Eternal Armor (for gw1 playes you remember the Eternal Blade I mean make that the heavy armor for Legendary armor) for trinkets and such idk and yes this will all be buy-able with gems cause it’s not like it’s soulbound anyways so why not just use gems to buy it? THANKS Anet!

+1, tonics or full outfits are a pretty fail thing… wish they would split current outfits into different pieces too though…

I’d love to see the free devil horns return. I think i got them but skinned over them for some reason or another and now I don’t have it in the wardrobe I’m a little sad. Perhaps they should return? Even for 300 gems it’d be fine

Armour that fits properly on Charr (with no stretching, no clipping and no removal of bodyparts such as ears/mane/horns).

I know its much to ask – but Charr is the only race I play.

and Ghastly Grinning Shield just to screw over the people on the TP selling them for 2k+ gold.

It kind of irks me that a player who managed to be rich enough to obtain all legendaries gets 2 Anet responses back-to-back, whilst most suggestion threads that can seriously improve and help the game, get hardly any or no responses at all.

Seriously, where has Anet gone? Are these suggestions even being taken on board? (Props for bringing back tormented weapons – but there could be a lot more brought back, and there are many good ideas in here) Or are we just suggesting things for no reason? It feels identical to the time I played Runescape for 10 years until I finally gave up and left after so many years of loyalty, knowing the staff didn’t care about the players or their suggestions to improve the game.

Would like to see some response of some sort, because right now I feel we’re being ignored big time. There’s so many good ideas here – in fact plenty of ideas for gemstore add-ons. Can someone from the marketing side of Anet look at these or something?

Swimwear, I mean, plenty of games out there, you fight with almost bare naked clothing lol. It’s time for GW2 to take that path! My mesmer is in acolyte pants and T3 human top! that is as close it can get, but i prefer to have no skirt around.

And summer is getting hotter, we’re gonna need that!

As I mentioned in another post, I would actually like to see either a full armor set (For medium armor) reminding of Cowboys’ outfits, with the coolest hat ever, some short jacket on a shirt, something like that, an outfit instead of armor would be cool as well, even the hat alone seriously, I so want my engi to look like a cowgirl! :P Pwetty please ANet - -Makes a Puss-in-boots cute look-

More separate (simpler and cheaper) helm, mantle, gloves, and boots skins. Not everything needs to be super sparkly and costing 500 gems. I prefer more skins like the glasses or bunny ears in the gemstore. How about mittens, bow headbands, and bowtie shoulder pieces?

And also some kind of armor with shorts since we already have a lot of pants and skirts/robes.

I would gladly pay 800 gems for a race change kit.

And on that note, I wish the hair and total makeover kits used a token system like in GW1. It’s unfortunate that you can’t mess around with potential looks before buying a kit.
