I would love to see the Glacial Blade as a future Gemstore Weapon skin for both one-handed and Two-handed sword. It is such a well designed weapon even for GW1 time to let this skin go to waste in only GW1.

Along with Cloaks , bring back the original Gw1 Balthazar costume and the other God costumes. Not a big fan of the Balthazar’s Regalia in gw2 , was really hoping it would be the exact same one from Gw1. The fire effects are nice but the armor is too bulky and clunky looking . And why not bring back piece by piece armor sets? Some costumes just look weird or want just the boots or just the helmet with costumes. or allow players to show and hide different parts of the costume.

How about the other half of the first expansion set? How about a new optional playable race – who’s intro story is attached as a tangent to the HoT story arc. As in not connected to the Personal Story so that the introduction is logical, seamless and relevant to the current story without getting in the way of it.

bumblebee wings backpack, marjory’s new armor skin from LS3 and Canach’s new armor from LS3. A cello music instrument.

Please add Paper Bag as a head skin on Halloween. It’s a simple-to-make skin, it doesn’t require much tweaking depending on races. It has a lot of character and it’s definitely a very funny choice of headwear.
Not to mention it somehow fits in with the theme.
(And can allow not-so-pretty characters to cover up their faces)

Shortbow version of the storm bow. I just came back and made a ranger specifically for that bow, only to find out that it was for those meta longbow users. I was looking forward to getting something similar to my favorite GW1 bow back.

Also some other ideas for gem store items:

The Charr Carvings Blindfold from GW1
The Rhino Hammer from GW1
The Nevermore flatbow also from GW1 with both long and short bow versions
I’d like to see some weapons that look like water somehow became a weapon, but still flowing. Not the solidified versions that we’ve seen thus far.
But a whole, “Storm Set” may also be a pretty great idea.

For suggestions about bringing back old skins?

To preface this, these are mostly going to be suggestions for skins. These skins might be a little… Complicated...read: insane and probably infuriating to texture and/or model correctly, but if they’re possible it would be fantastic.

So. Enough rambling.

Armor skins, aka the kind of thing you put on new important NPCs to hype them:
- A shoulder skin that looks like a poncho-style Mino (Japanese straw cloak which was basically a poor man’s raincoat) or better yet, an outfit that includes this, especially on the Asura model.
- <salt> A helm skin that actually looks plausible on Asura. Like maybe a hood with ear pockets or something. Especially for heavy armor, Asura are lacking in helmets that don’t require the apparent crushing and/or severance of ears. </salt>
- Glove skins resembling cesti or knuckle dusters.
- A ragged, torn-up chest skin that looks like layer upon layer of rags accumulated over a long time spent traveling in destitute conditions. (Description?)
- an all-classes helm skin that gives them a single Oni horn from the center of their forehead.

Weapon Skins. Unique, black lion, NPC or otherwise.
- Skins resembling eastern blades for the following weapons:
~ sword (katana, tsurugi, hook swords, etc.)
~ dagger (tanto/wakizashi/kodachi)
~ mace (tetsubo)
- a focus skin that looks like a string of prayer beads
- a focus skin that looks like an Ofuda

Other things, i.e. Actual new ideas for gemstore items instead of just new skins.
- something to convert combat boosts (for those who don’t use them) into other kinds of boosts like karma or exp boosts. And vice versa I guess.
- a convenience item that allows you to select an event so that upon its initialization, you are teleported there. For example, if you’re sick of missing out on the Bloodstone-crazed Wyvern event for the fortieth kitten time in a row (entirely hypothetically of course) you can use this item in verdant brink, select that event, and then when someone next spawns the wyvern over in good old VB, you get a popup that will let you choose to get dragged there as though you had waypointed.
- a mini set of basically two children of each race so having one of said minis is like your character having some adoring small follower (or squire, or apprentice or literal child.) maybe give it some job-o-tron-backpack style dialogue every now and then.

ANet, I apologize for my neediness, don’t take anything here too seriously I guess. Unless you think it’s a good idea to add to the game, then take it VERY seriously.

I’d really love some Exalted themed Infinite Gathering Tools. I don’t know if the items look like the Exalted or it summons an Exalted to gather for you, but I would absolutely love to have one! Please make my dream a reality!

There are a lot of flag and banner decorations in the guild hall, everything from colored flags, to pirate flags, and even world summit flags, but the one type of flag/banner that is not available, and the one that should be there before any of the rest, is a guild emblem flag/banner. ANet, please add those to guild hall decorations!

Bumped for combat animation options. I’d pay good money for that, let me tell you. Also, making glasses/eyewear options divorced from helms.

And please for all that’s holy SFX/VFX updates for firearms. There’s no reason the glyphic/dark asuran pistol and rifle should sound like primitive black-powder things when they seem to be lasweapons. This goes also for skins like the Dominator pistol/rifle. kitten things look like sci-fi alien weapons, can we get them to sound like it?

but, keep the same body position as normal gliding (putting the carpet under instead of over the character)… and add the scream from the skritt gathering tool… I’d definitely buy it… but then find it annoying after a time.

It really bothers me, why in the world, humans, norns and salads (maybe?) didn’t got new moustache and beards, it’s sad because i would really like to see some new, better looking facial hair.
Let me point what humans have:
1) A beard after few days of not shaving.
2) Texas Ranger.
3) Hobo aka Santa.
4) Moustache of Virgin.
5) Evil goat.
etc.

i want blindfolds for all types of armor types xD I have always thought my thief/daredevil would look pretty good with a blindfold on but still nothing

As a long term player i have a few suggestions re: the Gem Store. Now, im generally happy with the way it runs and I try and hit the sales but do beleive that a few tiny changes could really affect the way players make purchases and would help to further stimulate sales

Recyling of old skins: I have seen Several skins such as the chain-whip sword and the wings come and go several times in the last year. This content is awesome, but I strongly believe there should be a brand new skin released when an old skin is made available again. This would help stimulate sales with players who already have the skin instead of them just opting out of buying gems altogether. I tend to be an impulse buyer and don’t get gems just for BL keys.

Weapon sets: Wow! I’ts so hard to keep up with them all. How do I even collect a whole set? I even tried getting all of the Pirvateer skins, and only got 5 unlocked before they were cyled out. I liked the idea of acoount-bound version but I believe there should have been a tradeable version at the same time. Account-bound ticket requiring less BL ticket scraps or something.

Cycle more: I’d like to see the whole store look fresh for a change. Mask of Jublee, Mask of silent, shoulder scarf, the lawless skins (Maybe finish the set and/or release it as a bundle?). They all seem to have been there forever and makes the store seem stale. Instead of trading 4 items out and leaving the rest, maybe take 10 out and put more historical ones back in more often. Maybe even Cycle the outfits more?

Timing: Referring to 3-day and one-week sales. If i get excited about a skin and then it’s gone before i get paid, I miss out. If the Gem store gets these right at the beginning of the month, I have no money for it. Mid-month is best time for sales for most people because bills/rent are due at the end. eg. Amethyst Aegis. Can’t afford this until Thursday but ends Monday. Would have been able to, but it was released one week into the month instead of two. Maybe make it so the store changes happen at the end of each month, and sales are mid-month (with certain exceptions like anniversary of course).

GW1 content: Us GW1 vets loved our armors from GW1. The Monks Outfit, Gwen’s attire ect, I bought right up as soon as I saw them. I get very extited about the nostalgic stuff. What about the heavy male Kurzick Warrior armor tho? Luxon Elementalist armor? Paragon armors ect? I would buy gems in a second for some of those skins. Especially my old Necromancer Elite Luxon (male) and Kurzick (female) armors. I worked so hard to earn those skins. I’d like to see them again.

New ideas: What about new Cultural-based armor sets? You get say, a Heavy set made only for a Sylvari or a Light set made just for an Asura? It would make for less work I believe and be more affordable (micro-transactions, ya know?) average armor set is currently 800 Gems and requires the dev team to make 10 sets in total (male/female for each race.). Perhaphs the new ones, being 1/5th the work could be like 180 Gems or something. Could do like a monthy release or something, this month Charr get a new armor for sale, Next month is Human month and so on. It would freshen up the store and make it less stale. It might even allow some room for a new playable race eventually

Now these are just some ideas I’ve been hatching and I hope maybe you might even implement a few of them some day. I love this game and will continue my support for it.

P.S. When is “How to Dance vol.2” coming out? I wanna see all of Tyria doing the necromancer’s “Thriller” dance from GW1 for Mad King’s Day lol.

I am sure I am not the only one who is bothered by the old standard hair accessory colors which haven’t changed since 4 years!

There should be at least exclusive accessory colors on the Self-Hair-Style Kit or Makeover Kit like the existing exclusive hair or eye colors.

It’s really hard to find a decent color especially when you have hairstyles like ’Taimi’s Hair’ with the big bow in it and you can’t dye it properly.

What are your thoughts?

It’s been asked for, for what feels like a million times – yes, we should get a wider variety of hair accessory colors to choose from but ANet is busy with other things and I don’t think they’ve ever answered whether or not they will or can add more hair accessory colors.

I would buy the fourth birthday backpack skins on the gemstore, I was not aware it was one per account and not character! I hope they are available again next year!

Also (a little) off topic: Please change the inclination of a character using the Electromagnetic Ascender toy. The way it is now looks strange (to me at least). I would like to have my character more vertical not always looking at the ground.
