Same here. 100% Tyria completion and got nothing when I completed the Verdant Brink map.

Just finished it today. Zilch, zip, nada. It was a very anti-climactic completion. I also had 100% pre-HoT. Really hope we get our rewards eventually. Going to leave at least one item on all maps alone from here on out until this is fixed.

Still no reward after patch at verdant brink. btw i miss the 100% dry top completion too.

Finished both Verdant Brink and Auric Basin today… I double-checked that I had everything but I have the same issue. Please fix this xP this felt like I did nothing.

Another +1 for this bug. Finished Verdant Brink on a 100% character, got nothing, finished Dry Top on a different 100%, same thing. Finished Southsun Cove on a bunch of below-100%, got the reward.

Also didn’t get any retroactive rewards on one of my 100% chars, that had Southsun/DT/SW already done before HoT shipped.

Same here, 100% VB no reward. Am I screwed having 8 chars with full map?…Hope not.

Same here. 100% on a char. No reward from Dry Top or Verdant Brink. Chars without 100% on Tyria completion doesn’t have a problem with this.

hopefully they don’t say that there’s nothing that they can do for those that already bugged out =_=, since i think character with 100% tyria completion seem to be affected…which means almost all the mains…

No rewards from Verdant Brink or Auric Basin. I’m sure there’ll be a fix eventually, no biggie.

I got 100% Old World on my Necro, completed 100% VB and no rewards…I sent a ticket for bug report before find this post…

100% Tyria completion and 100% on every single HoT map, zero rewards here, even went and got all the mastery points on 2 of those maps, still nothing.

Has anyone gotten anything from Verdant Brink map completion? If yes was it before or after this patch https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/updates/Game-Update-Notes-October-23-2015/5672927 ? I just finished it last night and got absolutely nothing. Not even something like the letter you get for maps in core Tyria (my mailbox is empty so it is not a full mailbox issue). It would be fine if that is the intended design but having no acknowledgement from the game makes me wonder if there is something else going on.

According to the achievements you should definitely get something for completion in the Magus Falls maps and while Verdant Brink is not in Magus Falls it would still seem strangely inconsistent for Magus Falls maps to have map completion rewards and none for Maguuma Wastes maps when they are being added by the same expansion.

Same thing here, i have 100% world completion done a while ago, just got 100% map completion on Verdant Brink with no reward, two friends of mine completed map completion at the same time as me and both got the reward, neither of them have 100% world completion.

Same problem here. Got 100% Tyria map, Yesterday I finished VB and didn’t get the chest reward.

UPDATE……. Now completed Verdant Brink, Auric basin and Tangled depth’s all 100% and guess what???? Correct NO REWARD CHEST FOR ALL 3 MAPS.

Completed VD, Auric and TD without map rewards, one HP away from Dragon’s Stand. This is on a character with 100% tyria. This really sucks man.

Same thing happened to me too, did 100% on Verdant Brink, yet no reward, not even a cache.

I have also completed Verdant brink AND Auric Basin and have received no reward from either map… I have submitted several bug reports in game and website tickets, and have not received any reply….

I completed it yesterday on a revenant.
i got as reward:
-legendary gift of the pact fleet (required to craft the new legendaries)
-a new item i cannot remember
-a black lion key
-a revenant reward chest. it is an item for the ascended revenant specialization shield, and upon opening the chest i received an exotic heavy armour piece with traveller rune.

So if you really got nothing, it must have been a bug

I completed VB on my ranger (specced as Druid) and got nothing. I was hoping to get the Ranger gear chest needed for collection completion. Hope this gets fixed.

It’s absolutely unbelieveable that this thread now has 78 replies and still no official developer response. I hope developers do realize there is no way for people affected by this bug to create the 3 new legendaries or unlock their Elite Spec weapon without the map rewards? There is a huge number of people out there with 100% core tyria and therefore a huge number of people affected by this. This bug should have top priority atm. Instead they spend precious development time on a patch that lowers Hero Point cost for Elite Specs :/

I have exactly the same problem, should I contact support about this? I already contacted support this week for some error of mine :/. (Like I was stupid and I did not look closely enough when using a legendary recipe :’) )

Did that character have 100% world completion? if not thats why. characters with 100% world completion cant get new map completions because of a bug

yea i have 1 HP left in Verdant brink and wont be doing it until the fix goes out. also because i dont have the nuhoch mastery needed for it.

friend got southsun rewards yesterday when we went to do karka, still waiting on mine. which sucks. i might have alts with it though.. i should check

Yup. Partied up with a guildie. He was on his Rev, me on my Thief. I had Tyrian completion and he did not. We did all the same stuff in the map. I did not get map completion for Verdant Brink but he did. Support ticket sent to ANet and they confirmed that they are aware it is a problem and are working on it. No ETA.

Thankfully I came across this thread or I’ll forever be in the dark.

Completed Auric Basic yesterday and received no reward, I actually thought no reward was supposed to be given since I’ve never received anything from Southsun, Dry Top and Silverwastes.

98% here, so going to wait I think until you guys get an answer.

I also got rewards for both Silverwastes and Dry Top this weekend. Maybe a recent patch broke it? I just finished world completion yesterday.

I am also at 100% map completion of normal tyria and didn’t get a thing like the OP said after completing Verdant Brink. Hopefully they fix this bug soon because I really want to get that Bo staff unlocked :’(

I guess “nothing happened” would be more accurate than “I got nothing”.

I did SW, Dry Top and Southsun Cove on all my characters – no reward and today completed VB with necromancer and guardian, sadly no reward again.
