Bought 5 keys, 0 unique. Just crappy boosters. I was 90% sure this was going to happen. I don’t like it and won’t be buying any more keys. This was the first and last time.

Patch is live, as is the event.

There was a red post mentioning that they’d be added after the update today. I just have a feeling the drop rates ridiculously low.

People are reporting that they’re getting skins from chests… so yes, the droprate just sucks this badly.

Not going to buy keys after this, that’s for sure.

They said patch would go up on the 22nd but the Unique items were to be there on the 23rd. Wait for 3-4 more hours

50 Chests open, 1 Chain Sword… Not happy….

Been talking with someone who had 15 Keys and got the Greatsword Chainsaw skin on the very last key. It’s just luck.

81 opened….

2 skins (rifle and shield)

15 harvesting tools, 32 repair cans, 4 express merch, 3 bank, 5 revive, 65 fine trans, 4 BL Salvage, 2 trader

…and obviously enough tonics and boosters to choke a dolyak.

Figured somebody would be interested to see the results for an idea on their odds.

Go to this website scroll down and it will say between October 23 and November 5. But it seems that people are getting theyre skins.

I got kitten off and spent my bankroll of gems after failing 20 keys… I went all in and only managed to get 2 skins off 81 chests opened.

Did anyone really expect that the chance to get a Halloween design would be higher than 10%? And even with a 10% chance you would still have to open 23 Chest to get to a 90% chance to see at least one design.

I already lost interest in this event doing the first “quest” I saw in Lions Arch. Its too much reading and making it too complicated/weird. The one where you hunt or whatever it is for ghosts I assume.

21 boxes and nothing…..wow. now all those hours i spent farming keys feel even more useless. at least now the precedent is set, so we can expect this bull kitten from every other event. good too know that this is just the same as every other P2W game out there.

I didn’t expect to get much.. but for that chunk of change I did expect to get at least one item out of this. I will just be adding all this other “crap” (cause that’s what 90% of it is) to my bank.. Where it will likely rot forever since it is all account bound.
I have ZERO inclination to buy another key as long as I play this game. That much is certain.

i wish they made skin you have defeat event to get them no a freaking unlock box that make your bank run dry. i miss them old day you get item just doing dungeon or misson

Seriously not pleased with the drop rate. I’m really happy I didn’t drop USD to get these Gems, but regardless it adds up to a lot of wasted time.

Yeah, opened a horde of chests myself and got squat. Pretty much goes to show that ANet’ll do anything for a quick buck. -.-;

I went and sold a ton of stuff , to get the gems to buy keys. I may as well, have saved the gold and bought the pieces off the trading post.

I also love how they took the combat skins and put them in the boxes, and only allow you to buy the crappy town clothes stuff directly.

Also thanks for making the candy corn skins last only 4 hours.

Nearly 200 chests and I got absolutely nothing. Does it have the same drop rate as getting a precursor from the forge?

This is bad business and I expect some sort of compensation with my keys returned….

I opened 2 and got a chainsaw greatsword.
