I’ve heard some stuff’s been said on reddit, but there doesn’t seem to be any easy way to get a handle on what is and isn’t being said by the company.

Anet is pretty good at going mute at such times, which only angers the mob even more.

Taking timezones into consideration (it’s currently 4:38 am), I find it unlikely.

In short:

Customers are dumb and easy to confuse. To prevent any drama all versions of HoT contain the base game. Versions without base game would cost the same since this is a free addition to HoT.
