I’m working on The Bifrost but I don’t have much time to spend these days hunting gold down for The Legend (our first baby is expected mid Feb so lots to get done in real life). Not asking for The Legend itself, just some help with some gold in purchasing it off the TP. Every time I get close to having enough to buy it, it shoots up in price again

I’m on a NA server…so if anyone has any spare gold to throw at a poor lady trying to get her legendary made before a little one sucks away all of her gaming time, that would be amazing

Hi guys. I’m a returning casual player so my wishlist is a too much for me but for any of you who’s willing to donate, it consists of 2 things. These are the one hand sword jormag’s breath and the greatsword foefire’s essence. So, neither of these are incredibly insurmountable, but my anniversary just passed in not so amazing circumstances, and I’d really like to be able to gift my fiance a Celestial or Shadow Abyss dye, and/or some deldrimor ingots to craft an ascended greatsword (he needs six at the moment).

Hello all. Figured I might as well try here like so many others have! I have played since close to start, + 1 year break pretty fast as I didnt feel the game back then. Then started up again and until now. One of my newest trends is leveling alts, got now a 77 ranger who I want a sweet animal look for (name is Ann I Mal, clever I know).

What I hope is for some generous player to gift me those new hawk wings, as that would fit perfect for my new ranger animal look. As a 5. year student money is short, and used rest of my gold on getting that char slot for my ranger and new love for WvW. If anyone wanna gift me those wings, I will be a happy player

A friend very kindly loaned me 50 gold so I could exchange for gems and have just enough to unlock a new character slot. He was sure I’d love the reaper, and he was right! I haven’t had the gold to pay him back yet, though, and now both of us are working on ascended crafting so that we can work towards playing raids together. A little extra gold would be a big help to both of us. We’re on NA servers.

Remember all, gifts of things from the gem store are kind and appreciated gifts to many. Just don’t forget that gifts of in-game materials can make a huge difference to a player.

Some of us should have a cable show about in-game hoarding…so please don’t be shy about asking for mats you may need for anything…leveling crafting, making exotcis, ascended items, etc. you may be surprised at the generosity of our community.

If anyone would be kind enough to help me get to a stack of silver doubloons for juggernaut then that would be great, currently I’m at 68/250 ^^

hey guys. i’ve been playing gw2 for almost 8months now and am trying to craft the ascend spinal backpiece since my first week. due to reasons of reality there are times that i am not able to play for 2-3 months thus hindering my daily sprocket home harvest. persistance really paid off when i was able to collect 250 blade shards last week. but it seems i need still need lots of sprocket to even finish the non ascended spinal. I would very much appreciate every watchwork sprocket that you can spare. and after i have collected enough gold to buy the watchwork mining pick in the gem store i’ll be returning favors here in this thread for material requests or what ever i can afford to spare. thanks fellow gw2 lovers. Just trying to be helpful, but if you need Viper’s gear, you have to get the recipe for either the inscription or the insignia yourself, as it is account-bound on acquire. The only way to get it is with 250 aurillium, which you get for auric basin events. The only reason I know this is I am trying to get them myself. It is a pain in the butt to farm Auric Basin, but you only need to do it about 1.5 hours per recipe.

I’m trying for a very long time now to craft the Kudzu longbow, while saving up to buy the Leaf of Kudzu, I’m trying to farm all the mats. They are annoying to get (even with the laurels).

But the 2 things that bugs me the most to get are the “Ancient Wood logs” Currently have 321/1500 and the “Omnomberries”, which I have 78/250… so if anyone has some spare ones… I will be really really greatful

I would love to get a Total Makeover Kit for my Druid. I saw the kit is on sale currently but still to expensive for me. I play on the NA servers

I have an unhealthy obsession for Mini Pets and figured I’d ask if anyone would like to help feed that obsession and maybe even finally finish one of these Chivoz.
I currently have 190 of them in my Pokemon Storage and generally flood the TP with buy orders that sometimes take months to eventually fill. Although I started canceling them all so I could try to save up and make myself some armor since it never wants to drop and the crafting cost is insane naow. ;x
All my Minis are well fed, sheltered, groomed and taken for walks when I can. I’d appreciate it and take good care of any pets sent to me.

I’d also accept Mini Karka, even though it’s impossible, but it’s my favorite that I’ll never own so it falls onto my desire list. My favorite that I do own currently is Mini Beetle, which I actually requested in Gem Store thread long ago before it was finally added. I like odd things. =))

Hello, there! I’m EU player and I may also have a request on my own, I’m not really a type of guy who asks for stuff, but since I can’t really afford it myself, I would be eternally grateful if someone could gift me Commander’s Compendium for Commander’s tag, I know it’s not really a TP or GemStore item, so my Gifter would have to either donate some money or items I could sell for in-game gold, but I still decided to take my chance here. Even though I do not spend my cash a lot currently I’m at about ~96g when I need 300 for that item, which is still long way to go for me.

- You might ask why should you support me in this?

• On daily basis I run meta events on new maps, often commanding them, if not still I try to help as best as I can in organizing.
• Organizing and leading multiple HP trains on new maps
• Helping to lead pug raids
• Leading/Helping World Bosses

Currently I’m using my mentor tag, which to some degree is really useful, but lacks additional things commander tag provides with, not only the squad which is the most important thing, improved communication, but also markers, so people can go to correct places without any problems or doubts and at the end… the authority, as a lot of people still tend to ignore mentor tags or grant them less attention, so it’s not a common situation when there are 3 commander tags and one mentor, the mentor’s lane gets much less people or in case of VB often no people on his/her outpost at T4 Night.
Commander tag also helps with organizing map as people join maps with commanders more often.
When running HP train (especially in TD) as a mentor I simply can’t track all the people following, so if some are lost during the way, I often can’t really help them since my party is limited to 5 people.

I’m experienced player, who would like to contribute more but since I lack pure gold for something so essential in better organization I decided to ask kind souls here.

So conclusion would be I would really, really, really appreciate any donations towards the Commander’s Compednium, I also think people who are on the maps/trains led by me would appreciate it as well. Thanks in advance for any support!

Had my eye on this thread for a while. And while there are certainly plenty of things I’d love to get my hands on that are too pricey for me to just go and buy instantly (skins, minis, ect) I’ve never really felt that it was justified to ask for something like that from others. Long term goals I can work on for myself and get eventually (finally got the Crossing after 3 years, so… that’s something).

But there is one slightly less selfish, less aesthetic thing I’d like to get that’s well out of my budget which I’ve been starting to want more and more. And that’s a Commander tag.

Now, not only is that well outside of my means to just go and spend gold on willy-nilly, but I honestly can’t really even justify the cost to myself either. I don’t do WvW, I don’t have a guild that I’d need to run events for, I don’t plan on doing anything like running chest trains or basic event zergs like Frostgorge. Literally the only thing I want the tag for is for large scale organized events like the HoT maps. There are many times when I’ll get into a map and see people asking for tags to start organizing, and I’m like “I wish I could, but…”. I mean, sometimes I’ll throw up my Mentor tag and try to help, but with how easy those are to get and the more limited capabilities its not quite the same. But as much as I do wish I could help people out in such a way, 300g for that possibility is just too much for me. Even if I actually had that amount on-hand I don’t think I could bring myself to spend it on a Commander tag. I could probably handle the old 100g amount, but 300g… that’d hurt. A lot.

So you’re probably asking “Well if you can’t justify the cost, why should I”. And… I don’t have an answer to that. You probably shouldn’t, if I’m being honest. But I’m going to ask anyway. Maybe there’s someone out there who thinks its a worthwhile thing to spend money on. It wouldn’t be the first donation I’ve been surprised by in this thread. And if not, well, its not like I lose anything by asking.

I have had my eye on the glittering wings back pack for some time now. I just seem to always dump my gold in to guild upgrades instead of continuing to save enough to turn to gems and get it. I am on an NA server.

I have a character that I’m really attached to, it’s name is Dante The Litch and he is a Necromancer.
I created him in Gw1 as a Dervish and I created a story that kept him alive in Gw2.
Since the Scythe staff skin came out I was mesmerized by it, it was the best fit for my Dante so I decided to try my best and get it but I didn’t succeed… Then i saw it on the trading post at a really expensive prince so I tried again to make enough gold but it seems I’m going too slow.
So I ask all the kind souls of Tyria: Could you help a fellow player getting that Scythe staff skin? I would be eternally grateful and I hope to return the favour in some way.
I need more gold, and since I think I’m not doing the right things to make money I need some adivices too.
I’m currently farming materials and doing the chest farm in SW all the time that I can, selling all the valuable stuff that I get and also doing fractals, dungeons and bosses but probably I have no luck..
If anyone has some spare coins it would be great, even some bronze will make the difference for me.

- I’d also absolutely love it if someone would mail me some: Cured Hardened Leather Squares (need 250), Charged Lodestones or Cores (would need either 100 Lodestones or 200 Cores + 100 Crystalline Dust), and Mystic Coins (need 75). I can probably handle the Orichalcum Ingots, Sigils of Purity, ridiculous amounts of AC (dungeon), and Elonian Wine (if necessary) myself.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for whatever you can send, because I can’t grind gold for kitten! (I did three SW runs this morning and got a total of 20g, and that’s only because I had 20 or so ecto to sell to go along with 4g worth of materials. xD)

Hello everyone. I am fairly new to this game. With that being said I have come to realize that bank room is hard to come by. My bank is maxed and I doubt 99% of things in there are in good but to me they are neat as I am pretty brand new. I recently by HoT and I am loving every bit of it. I also started collecting little pets. It was the first thing a guild member ever gave me and so far i have a few others. There is so much on here that I would love to have from fashion to pets to bank tabs but im not greedy. This thread is awesome. If I can help others when I am able to and understand the game more I know I will. I had alot of mentors help me with the smallest things but also the best guild members help me with alot as well. A few notes:

• The Players Helping Players area is the proper sub-forum for this project, so please don’t ask us to move it to another sub-forum, or post in another sub-forum about this project.
• This is a very nice initiative, but I would suggest that those who are gift recipients not “go back to the well” repeatedly. “Thanks for the gift(s), please give me more” is a little OTT, doncha think?
• What would be super sweet is to see this become a sharing project on a reciprocal level. For instance, someone sends you some dyes you’re seeking, and you turn around and offer someone else a few mats. That sort of thing is the best level of community generosity and we love to see it!
• Remember that this is a player-driven project, so if there are issues, they need to be settled between the two parties directly. I truly do not foresee issues arising, but it’s just a good thing to be aware that CS or other folks couldn’t get involved in mediation, should the need arise.

I was also a fan of this thread and saw it as more of a reciprocity opportunity. I received some mats, which I have expressed my gratefulness for, and I look forward to continuing to help others with in-game things like Mats or helping with getting achievements that provide certain rewards a player may need for a collection.

To me, this kind of atmosphere is what this game has been about, all the way back to GW1.

Hello all! First I would like to say how amazing a thing this thread is. I know so many players who are striving to get their “prized possession” but always seem out of reach. This is where I currently am, always out of reach of The Ghastly Grinning shield. I have been playing Guild wars to since launch. Back then I managed to play on a mac client on a macbook pro “CRINGE” I now built and play on my own desktop. When the first Halloween event took place I had no idea that The Ghastly Grinning shield would be a one time skin. I never had the gold nor was i ever lucky enough to get the shield way back when, I was having to much fun on Mad King’s Tower! Its been a Life long goal of mine to be able to wield the Shield as my own but, I am defeated. Every time I seem to be making enough gold per day to get the shield, the shield rises in price! So I ask if some kind heart-ed soul(s) would be able to not necessarily gift me the shield but to aid me in funds to expedite the process ( However if someone has a spare laying around I wont say no :p) I am at about 150G atm and the shield is ever increasing in price and out of my grasp, it grins at me in spite! There is my plea, and I thank you all for reading.

Edit: I feel weird asking for a gem store item, especially for a shallow reason…but I would like the wanderers mark if anyone is feeling that generous. I find my human characters face a little bit boring and since she has fought many battles and faced down elder dragons I figured it would be cool if I could dye it to look like a nasty scar. For which armour and what sections of it if you don’t mind me asking? there are some cheaper dyes that look close to black (or more black than black) on certain things but not at all on others, the midnight dyes for example. You might want to give them a look if you haven’t already and then maybe post if one of them looks al right so if anyone has a smaller budget they can still help out.

Hey all! I’ve been playing actively for more than a year and though I play gw2 almost every day, I consider myself a casual player. I am horrible at saving gold, ‘cause I’m always filling up all the collections! After HoT came out, I started crafting for Nevermore. It’s going to be my first legendary and I’m still on my way crafting the first tier precursor. But it’s moving very slowly because all the wood needed. I’ve already crafted 31 spirit wood planks and still 4 to go till the first tier precursor. And then I have two tiers more to go!
So basically, if you have any soft wood, seasoned wood, hard wood or elder wood lying around, I would really appreciate it! Or if you know of any other materials I’m going to be needing on the way to the Nevermore legendary, I would be thankful for those as well. Gold also accepted. I play on EU.
