Yes, I seek true treasure. Rarer than gold (or any other metal it seems).

Silver Doubloons.

Apparently all the pirates of Tyria carried copper coins beyond count, had gold by the galleon and plundered much platinum.

But silver to cast as doubloons? None. Zero. Or, more precisely for me, Five. Five pesky coins. And sadly I am seeking more than that amount, many more. And as such, I come, cap in hand.

I seek a total of 250 of these doubloons (running total updated below), for crafting of The Juggernaut (the creation of which is pricey enough without this…).

I understand (I sought wisdom from the Oracle of /wiki) Silver Doubloons can be found sometimes as detritus at the bottom of the Mystic Toilet.

When one casts “Pebbles, Nuggets, Marks or Copper Doubloons” x 4, the result can, apparently be Silver Doubloons.

I am not convinced, though perhaps it’s an option for assistance?

Failing that the much more direct (and helpful?!) tactic would be to gather the doubloons themselves – and here is where I wave my empty cap, and jangle my little tin cup:

Silver Doubloons I seek.

250/250 currently.

In the last patch they added the new spectral weapons and I really wanted to have one because they look really cool :I The problem is I dont have any character that still hasto do the story where they could get blacklion keys . I also dont have the time to farm enough gold for neither a skin nor gems for the keys. Also I dont have really much money left to spend on gems :I. So I wont really be able to get one of the skins before the next set comes out and the spectral ones cost more. So I wanted toask if someone could gift me keys or a skin. If someone does I would love him or her forever for gifting me that skin <3

I’d really like an active/fullyupgraded guild. One so active guild missions are constantly successful and the guild hall is fully upgraded (or atleast has the guild armorer with the new stuff)

Hallo, I’m in charge of upgrading and improving our guildhall and I learned that you could build Uzolan’s Mechanical Orchestra as decoration.
I already have a scribe lvl400 (from when it was really expensive ) and I nearly finished the collection you have to do.
But unfortunately I need some T6 materials which are getting more and more expensive for no reason. So building the Orchestra would cost around 450gold.
I already got some donations from my guild of course but there is still missing some stuff.
So if you have any spar material I would be super happy, and of course you can come and have a look at the orchestra once it is finished.

Hello and thank you for this thread! Of late, I don’t get to play as much anymore because of real life issues. I’d love a new character slot because characters are kind of the best part of this game. Thanks to the premium prepurchase HoT pack I bought, I managed to get enough gems to buy few character slots. But I now need a last one to get the very last profession I miss – guardian/DH -, and gem prices have grown crazy these days…

So if anyone has few spare gems to offer so that I can finally grab a last slot, I would be very grateful !

I have to mention I still have 200 gems left, so I “just” miss 600.

Well, figured I’d give it a shot. Birthday today, and one thing I’ve really wanted that I haven’t been able to get yet is the Lovestruck Scepter Skin. It’s kind of pricey though and after helping out a friend with their Legendary, I’m rather broke now lol.

OK, full disclosure. I have made 2 previous posts regarding Wintersday Drinks and Charged Lodestones. I am removing those previous posts and combining them here.

These are long-term goals, and I have only requested assistance on 2 items that I am also working on gathering, but both are just very slow going.

Mjolnir – Charged Lodestones – COMPLETED!

I have a character by the name of Thor Odinson, a Norn Guardian. Flaming Red Hair and Beard, as the All Father intended.

He has Gungnir(Odin’s Spear) as his Spear already. I am currently using Droknar’s Forgehammer and the skin for Courage as his primary weapon set(1-Hand Hammer(Mace) and Bottle of Mead(Focus)).

What I needed were Charged Lodestones. I have made the Gift of Lightning(that took 100), so I need 250 to make Mjolnir.

As Promised, I was not trying to scam anyone, pic is posted below of Mjolnir in my Character’s hands to prove I did not make this to sell.

1/5/2017 – Total Count: 250/250 MJOLNIR COMPLETED!

Wintersday Drinks – COMPLETED

Working on Winter’s Presence for my Mesmer, who looks remarkably similar to Santa. IGN Santa Odin. (Pic attached below.)

Snowflakes falling in his presence almost feels mandatory…lol And yes, I do already have the Snowflake Glider. All I would need is a way to make him smell like Sugar Cookies and have an eye patch with the hat, and he’d be perfect…he’s a winter festival spirit kinda guy…:)

I had enough gold leftover(plus selling about 3x 2-3 G exotics I had sitting in my bank) to purchase all remaining drinks needed for Winter’s Presence!

I reccently bought the HOT expansion and so far i’ve been enjoying quite a lot, but I wanted to make a rev character unfortunally I dont have anymore char slots and I’ve been trying to get the required amount of gold to purchase it but with the price of gems being so High at the moment and apparently refusing to drop down, I not even close to half way there.

I cam back to this game in order to be able to give myself a joy again after i had some several months of beeing unhappy because of severe reasons, which I obviously won’t explain here now.
So I came back and took a stroll though the gemstore and saw these reallyyyy cute Sloth-Backpack which I immidiatly admired. Nevertheless I won#t be able to buy it anyway soon, since time is troubling for me, but it would be really a joy to look at a tiny sloth scratching its back whilste it climbs mine

This is actually a great thing wow. Probably the first of its kind I’ve seen in an MMO. And boys, I ’ve been in a lot of forums of MMOs in the past few years, but the generosity of the GW2 Community is unreachable. You guys are bomb and I hope you keep it going!

Okay so, you gotta understand how hard it is for me to write this stuff. I’m not very suited for this. I mean, this is very weird. To ask for things from complete stranger and trying to show off myself and explain why I deserve … this? Its really strange.. But whatevs, more about that later.
At first I didnt want to come here and try this, cause I felt I can do it alone and there are probably people that need some help more then me.

But I’ve come to the conclusion that I can atleast try, cause I’m really overwhelmed at the moment and hope theres someone out there willing to help :)

So yea, I came back to this game about a month ago. Before that I quit around HoT launch. I came back and mained a Rev for a while and switched between newly created characters to find the class I enjoy the most. Seems like I finally found it with the Mesmer/Chronomancer. I’m seriously in love with the supportive playstyle and high burst damage in wvw and stuff. But I also had the crazy idea to craft a legendary with all the mats I gathered in the past 3 years and selling many many things in my bank, to finally acquire my favorite legendary “The Flameseeker Prophecies”. So I was broke, but still had to gear my fresh level 80 Mesmer. I could just manage to buy my desired exotic armor set and craft the runes for it, after I farmed the whole last week.

Today I joined an HP Train again, I think the third or forth time this month, to level up my elite spec. So yea, as always I tipped the HP Tour Guide Person some gold, which was unfortunately the last I had. good job me :D

So yea, I still have to buy Sigils, Weapons and… well… a highly desired Skin. A sword skin. U can probably guess it… Lord Taeres’s Shadow. Yep I am mainstream and will use that skin on a chronomancer, I know :D But hey, I love that skin and it fits my mesmer quiet good. even though I have nothing transmuted yet lol…
Oh well, you can see I still have alot to go through until I can finally jump into the most fun part for me, which is wvw roaming with my guild.

So maybe theres a way I can get some help to reach my goal. I’ve always been to nice to people, helping where I can, spending my whole evening showing a new player the ascalon dungeon, trying to cheer up a guild mate or friend even though I dont feel all that great myself, popping mentor tag helping people in the open world out with achievements or world bosses or just tipping people that did services for me :)
I’m not the person to ask for stuff or crying for help. Maybe its the social anxiousness I developed over the years or just the fact I dont want any drama. But I guess its good to ask, seek for help or count on others sometimes. idk. anyway. Thanks in advance!

What Runes/Sigils are you looking for? Often I keep Superior Sigils and Runes in case any friends or Guildies need something. Add what you are looking for in your post so some of us GW2 Hoarders may be able to help you out! I may not have a full set of Runes you are looking for, but 1 or 2 gets you that much closer.

I’m on my way of making my very first legendary (Astralaria) and while i try to farm every possible mat myself instead of buying it from the tp, i could really need some help now due to the rising price of mystic coins (why arent they farmable ;n; )
also while i already farm clovers through pvp tracks (and gosh, i suck at it) i am still facing the fact that i need an entire stack of those kitten ed things to craft the mystic tribute.
if anyone has a few of those coins to spare- and feels like sharing some- i’d kiss you if i could.

Last June 4, was my 21st Birthday. I’ve been playing GW2 and enjoying it primarily because of fashion and how fun mix matching my character’s hair colors and style to my outfits and armors.

I opened 21 Black Lion Chests on my 21st Birthday as a ritual, hoping to get a Permanent Hair Stylist Contract, unluckily, I didn’t get it.

It would really make me happy, I mean super happy to get it one day on my account. The Permanent Hair Stylist Contract would be the best gift for me on all my incoming birthdays. Would really appreciate it.

I have wanted the Balthazar’s Regalia for my Charr since it was first leaked. I stopped playing before HoT came out because I had other things to take care of. Now that I am back and here to stay, I still really want that set, but I am working on the Juggernaut, so I cannot put aside enough gold to farm out that set as well as my legendary hammer. I would really really love if I could get it.
